Her rosy lips parted and said, "No" though I'm sure that even she sounded unsure to herself as well.

That's why I requested Kyle to leave the room and let us talk alone.

I told her to look into my eyes and tell me the truth. But when our eyes clashed, there was something different, something special, something enchanting which made me feel myself drowning into the depth of those beautiful hazel eyes.

But soon, that spell was broken when a tear flowed out of her eyes and she tried to move away. Once again, I caught her, this time between my arms in a secure hug when I knew that she was sobbing violently. I couldn't see the tears in her eyes, but could feel the wetness on my shirt. I wanted to take all her pain away.

And that's when I gently kissed her on her forehead and she closed her eyes. No, I didn't feel sparks but this small action brought warmth to my entire body and made me feel relaxed as if I'd found a piece of myself to be complete again.

And that's when the door suddenly opened and my parents entered the room, shock and excitement displayed on their faces with a gentle smile.

And now, I knew I didn't need the memories. I just needed this girl in my arms forever.
