Y/n POV: I take a seat next to Nat and sitting across from me was the girl from the stairs who almost hit my shoulder she was really pretty

"For everyone who hasn't met her this is y/n she is new to the team so play nice," Nat says as she points to me and they all smile except for the girl

"Hello Y/n I'm Thor son of Odin and the god of thunder," Thor says as he gets up to shake my hand 

One by one everybody introduced themselves they were all super sweet but one person was left

"I'm Wanda," the girl from the stairs says her voice was soft but she didn't seem happy or excited that I was here 

"Well let's play a game shall we," Tony says as he sits back in his chair we all look around at each other for a few seconds 

"What game are you thinking Tony," Steve says breaking the silence. Tony smiles 

"Truth... or ... Dare," he says slowly we all laugh but after a few seconds we know he was not joking 

"Isn't that a kids game," I say before taking a sip of my drink, Tony rolls his eyes and sighs 

"I mean we can make it fun I'm up for it," Nat says, we all agree and start playing

After playing over 30 rounds it was Thors turn to ask the question "Y/n truth or dare..." 

"Umm lets go with dare," I say because I didn't want to seem weak in front of the team and I had only picked it 2 times before

"I dare you to go jump in the pool with all your clothes on," He says before bursting into laughter with the rest of the team

"Easy enough," I say as I get up and walk towards the pool on the balcony

I open the huge sliding glass door and make a run for it full speed ahead for the pool I didn't even bother taking my shoes off. I jumped into the freezing water "HOLY SHIT OH MY GOD AH IT'S FREEZING" I yell trying to get to the stairs as fast as I can. Steve runs over with a towel and gives me a hand out of the pool

"Thanks, Steve," I say as I wrap the towel around my shivering body

"Why am I not surprised you did that without a second thought," he says 

we both laugh as we walk inside the warm air from the living room helped heat me up but all I wanted was to get into some dry clothes

"Okay guys I think I should head to bed I'm all wet and a little tipsy," I say as I take my heels off and wave everyone goodnight  

I get into my room and immediately change into a big T-shirt with short black shorts and throw my hair into a messy bun. I turn my lights off and get into bed with my phone and start to scroll through Instagram and other socials I have and before I know it I'm fast asleep

I wake up and my room is boiling and I look at the clock "Damn it's 2 am" I whisper. I rip off my blanket and creak open my door to head to the kitchen

I get to the kitchen and see Wanda Sitting and reading a book

"Can't sleep?" I ask as I go to grab a bottle from the fridge 

"My room is too hot," she says bluntly 

"Yeah same I might just find somewhere else to sleep," I say in a joking manner 

she doesn't say anything just reads her book

I make a risky decision and try and read her mind. I haven't used my powers here yet I pray they don't get out of control

I sit down and close my eyes and try and focus on it but it won't work

"It's not going to work on me," Wanda says with a smirk its the closest thing to a smile I have seen from her 

"Sorry," I say out of embarrassment jeez I'm so stupid. Wanda says nothing and continues to read her book

I was tempted to try and make small talk but I went back upstairs instead. I get to my room flop on my bed and only use my sheet since it was still so hot and fall right asleep

I wake up to Natasha knocking on my door "Come in" I say getting out of bed and stretching. She opens the door and walks over to my closet "Tony is assigning us, new training partners, since you are new here it's a whole thing. But after that, we are doing a long training session so do you have anything good to wear?" she says as she looks through my clothes

"I have some leggings and T-shirts that will work," I say pointing to a bin in my closet where I keep my work out stuff

Nat looks at me and laughs "Your gonna want to wear as little as humanly possible we don't go easy we work to the bone. We get hot and sweaty your not gonna want to wear something like that" she says before pulling out a bin where I keep my sport bras 

She picks a White Nike one and toses it to me "Where do you keep your shorts" she asks with a smile. I point to a black bin in my closet and Nat pulls out a pair of black work out shorts 

"Put these on and meet us in the training room on level three put your hair up to," she says as she walks out of my room and closes the door behind her. I get dressed put my hair into a ponytail and walk to the elevator 

I walk into the training room and see everybody taking in their own little groups to I go to the water fountain and fill up my bottle

Tony walks in and motions for us to gather up so we do "Ok everybody here is your new training partners when I say who you are with  I will also give you the place where you gonna start" Tony says as he looks at his clipboard

"Nat you're with Clint start on the track Thor you're with bruce start with defense practice Steve your with Bucky start on boxing and Wanda you are with Y/n start on power control you both need it," he says and everyone makes their  way to where their stations

I follow Wanda to the power control station I'm actually happy I got Wanda I wanted to get to know her she seemed cold but I'm sure she not. When my name was called after hers she didn't seem too excited

"Do you know how to do this" Wanda asks as she gets out some balls and stuff from a closet 

"Um no but I am a quick learner," I say happily

"Well basically we move these balls with our minds and try to hit each other" She explains as she lines the balls up

"So like dodge ball with our minds?" I ask

She nods her head and motions for me to step behind the line

"On 3," Wanda says 

"1"

"2"

"3"

We start playing and it's actually kind of fun but just as I thought that Wanda starts going harder and she hits me in my shoulder

"That was actually fun," I say as I rub my shoulder

she lets out a little smile but then quickly goes back to straight-faced

"Let's play another round," Wanda says as she grabs the balls and places them on the middle line

"1'

"2"

before she gets to 3 everything goes black and I hit the floor.
