I received a message from you
Wishing me congrats
On completing another cycle around the sun
And that you loved me
Like a mother loves a child

There were emojis;
Cake, streamers, wine bottles, party and gifts
But it surely didn't felt that way ...

I knew your absence with a single message
Couldn't be true,
But how I wish that it was

And when I opened my eyes
I knew that I was dreaming,
Dreaming of a world, with you in it
