I know Pain

I look at the eyes staring back at me
They are glassy, dead, beclouded
By the unknown
Two black holes surrounded
By brown matter
Oh!
How that eyes went through pain

I remember their
Joy, love, forgiveness, care
But now they seem dark
Filled with resentment
That they tried to wish away
They turned sour and unforgiving
What happened that made them
This... cold?
