Thor and (Y/n) Vs The Hulk
You and Thor are shoved into a spacious cell where other alien prisoners are lurking in the back. The thick cell door slams shut behind you and Thor. Thor gets up and immediately begins throwing his shoulder into the door. The door doesn't budge, not even a little. Behind you, Korg, a hulking Kronan rock alien, speaks up. "Hey! Take it easy man!" You and Thor turn around. "Over here. The pile of rocks waving at you. Yeah I'm actually a thing, I'm a being. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Korg. I'm kind of like the leader in here. I'm made of rocks, as you can see, but don't let that intimidate you. You don't need to be afraid unless you're made of scissors." He said. He giggles to himself. "Just a little rock-paper-scissor joke for you. This is my very good friend over here, Miek. He's an insect and has knives for hands." Korg said.
Miek, a slug alien inside a robot exoskeleton, says hello by doing some karate moves. "You're a Kronan, aren't you?" Thor asked. "That I am." He said. "How'd you end up in here?" You asked. "Well, I tried to start a revolution but didn't print enough pamphlets, so hardly anyone turned up. Except for my mom and her boyfriend, who I hate. As punishment, I was forced to be in here and become a gladiator. Bit of a promotional disaster." He said. "But I'm actually organizing another revolution. I don't know if you'd be interested in something like that. Do you reckon you'd be interested?" He asked. You and Thor try to run ahead down the circle and loop back around behind Korg. "How did you..." Thor asked. "Yeah, no. This whole thing is a circle. But not a real circle, more like a freaky circle." Korg said.
"This doesn't make any sense." You said. "No, nothing makes sense here. The only thing that does make sense, is that nothing makes sense." Korg said. "Has anyone here fought the Grandmaster's Champion?" Thor asked. "Doug has. Doug!" Korg said. Then he realized he was dead. "Oh, right, Doug's dead. That's right. Everyone who fights the Grandmaster's champion perishes." Korg said. "What about you? You're made of rocks." You said. "Perishable rocks." He said. A pebble falls off. "There you go. Another one gone. Yeah, no, I just do the smaller fights, warm up the crowd and whatnot. Wait. You two aren't gonna face him, are you?" Korg asked. "Yes we are. Fight him, win, and get the hell out of this place." Thor said. "That's exactly what Doug used to say. See you later, new Doug." Korg said. Korg walks away and approaches Miek.

Thor sits against the wall. Quietly praying, as you throw rocks against the wall. "Odin, I bid you take your place in the halls of Valhalla. Where the brave shall live forever. Nor shall we mourn but rejoice for those that have died the." Loki said the last part at the same time as he came in. Thor gives him a hard look as you glared at him. "It hurts, doesn't it? Being lied to. Being told you're one thing and then learning it's all a fiction." Loki said. You pick up some stones that have fallen from Korg's leg and casually start throwing them through Loki's illusion. "You didn't think I'd really come and see you, did you? This place is disgusting." Loki said. You throw another stone through Loki. "Does this mean you don't want my help?" Loki asked. You throw another stone through Loki.
"Look, I couldn't jeopardize my position with Grandmaster, it took me time to win his trust. He's a lunatic, but he can be amenable." Loki said. You throw another stone through Loki. Disinterested. "What I'm telling you is, you could join me at the Grandmaster's side. Perhaps, in time, an accident befalls the Grandmaster, and then..." Loki gestures: "we take over." You throw another stone through Loki. Bored. "You're not seriously thinking of going back, are you? Our sister destroyed Thor's hammer like a piece of glass. She's stronger than all of us. She's stronger than you. You don't stand a chance. Do you understand what I'm saying to you?" Loki asked. "Say something!" Loki said. "What would you like us to say? You faked your own death, you stole the throne, stripped Odin of his power, stranded him on Earth, to die, releasing the Goddess of Death. Have I said enough, or do you do you want me to go further back than the past two days?" Thor asked.
"You know, I haven't seen this Beloved Champion he talks of, but I've heard he's astonishingly savage. I've placed a large wager against you tomorrow. Don't let me down." Loki said. Loki shimmers, and his illusion vanishes. Korg runs in to try to kick him. "Piss off, ghost!" He said. He looked around. "He's freaking gone." He said. You, Thor, Korg, and a gaggle of other prisoners/fighters have been led from their cells to a pre-fight holding Area. You, Korg and Thor are by the weapons rack. "Yuck! There's still someone's hair and blood all over this. Guys, can you clean up the weapons once you finish your fight? Disgusting slobs. Thor, wanna use a big wooden fork?" Korg asked. "No." Thor said. "What about you, (Y/n)? Big wooden fork?" He asked. You shook your head. "No thanks. I don't need any weapons. I already have powers." You said. He looked interested. "Powers?" Korg asked. "Oh yeah. You should see her fight. She has all the elements, such as fire, ice, water, earth, wind, and many more. She also has my element, lightning." Thor said.
Korg looked impressed. "Really?" He asked. You nodded. "I also have healing, and other powers besides elements." You explained. "You know what? (Y/n) here just might stand a chance against this champion." Korg said. You smiled. "I really wish I had my hammer." Thor said. "Hammer?" Korg asked. "Quite unique. It was made from this special metal from the heart of a dying star. And when I spun it really, really fast it gave me the ability to fly." Thor said. "You rode a hammer?" Korg asked. You chuckled. "No. He didn't ride the hammer. He used to spin it really fast, and it would pull him off the ground." You explained. "It would pull me off the ground, up into the air, and I would fly. Every time I threw it, it would always come back to me." Thor said.
"Sounds like you had a pretty special and intimate relationship wiht this hammer and that losing it was almost comparable to losing a loved one." Korg said. "That's a nice way of putting it." Thor said. You spot S142 dealing at the bar. You're once again eyeing the fob device clipped to her belt. You scowl. "I said they're mine." S142 said. "See her, the one that put us in here?" You asked. "Yeah, Scrapper 142. She's strong. And she drinks a lot." Korg said. "No shit." You mumbled. "Gotta watch out for those Asgardians, man. They are hard to perish." Korg said. You looked surprised, then looked at Thor. "Asgardian?" You asked. You and Thor break away from the line and run to S142. "Hey! Hey!" Thor said. S142 holds up the fob. "Hey." She said. "Do not zap us with that thing! We just wanna talk. Asgard is in danger." You said.
You and Thor then notice a series of patterned scars, or brands, on her forearms. "My God, you're a Valkyrie. I used to wanna be a Valkyrie when I was younger... until I found out that you were all women. There's nothing wrong with women, of course. I love women. Sometimes a little too much. Not in a creepy way, just more of a respectful appreciation. I think it's great that there is an elite force of women warriors. It's about time." Thor smiled. You just shook your head. "Thor, just stop." You said. "Lord of Thunder, and witch, you're up." A voice called. "Please, help us. We need your help." You pleaded. "Bye." S142 said as she walked away. "Fine, then you must be a traitor or a coward because the Valkyrie are sworn to protect the throne." You snapped. S142 finally turns her attention to you. "Listen closely, princess. This is Sakaar, not Asgard. And I'm a scrapper, not a Valkyrie." She said.
You glared at her. "I am not a princess." You said. She narrowed her eyes. "Really? Well, technically you are if you're his girlfriend." She teased. "You got it all wrong. We're just friends." You said. "And I'm going to help him. Because I'm not a coward like you." You said. Then she zapped you as you fell to the ground. Valkyrie takes her booze and walks away. You and Thor are dragged away, passing Korg and the other prisoners. You and Thor are strapped to chairs. A weird alien holds up some rusty shears. "Now, don't you move. My hands ain't as steady as they used to be." The alien said. "By Odin's beard, you shall not cut my hair... lest you feel the wrath of the mighty Thor." Thor said. Barber activates a menacing cutting tool. Thor freaks out. "Please. Please, kind sir, do not cut my hair! No!" Thor said.
Hundreds of thousands of spectators packed into the stadium seats. Dozens of starships are parked above the arena. Loki lounges in the suite, taking wagers on the fight card. Grandmaster walks out into the center of the arena. "Wow! Look at all of you. What a show, what a night! Who's having fun? Please, I'm your host. Big round of applause for all of our undercard competitors... who died so gruesomely. Good sports. What a show! What a night! This is what you've come for and so have I." Grandmaster said. Everyone applauded. "And now, without further ado... it's main event time!!" Grandmaster said. There was an insane applause. "Making their first appearance, though they look quite promising, got a couple of tricks up their sleeves. "I'll say no more, see what you think. Ladies and gentlemen..." Grandmaster began. "I give to you... Lord of Thunder, and his friend, (Y/n) the witch!" Grandmaster announces.
Thor has a shaved head, trimmed beard, minimalist armor, covered in weapons. Two swords on his back, giant mace in one hand, spiked shield in the other. You stood beside him. "Watch out for his fingers. They make sparks." Grandmaster said. You looked up to see a bunch of screaming fans. "Okay, this is it. Let's get ready to welcome this guy. Here he comes. He is a creature. What can we say about him? Well, he's unique. There's none like him. I feel a special connection with him." Grandmaster said. Explosions of green fired off across the sky. Then there was a massive rumble behind you and Thor whipped around. "He's undefeated, he's the reigning champion, here's-" The projection was interrupted as a huge, green monster of a man exploded from the walls of the arena. The Hulk roared. Your eyes widened. Hulk?! Thor smiled. "Yes!" He shouted. Everyone went silent. You looked at him. Loki stood up, and started making his way towards the door. "I have to get off this planet." He said
"Hey, hey, hey! Where are you going?" Grandmaster asked. Grandmaster plops Loki down in the front row, right against the glass. Loki casually tries to hide his face in his hand. "Hey! We know each other! He's a friend from work!" Thor said. "Where have you been? Everybody thought you were dead!" You said. "So much has happened since I last saw you. I lost my hammer. Like, yesterday, so that's still pretty fresh." Thor went on. You rolled your eyes. "Loki! Loki's alive. Can you believe it? He's up there." Thor said. Thor waves to Loki. "Loki! Look who it is!" Thor said. Loki just looks down in a terrified manner. "Banner, I never thought I would say this, but I'm happy to see you." Thor said. "Thor, that isn't Banner. It's Hulk. Don't forget that they're two different people." You said. Thor looked confused. Hulk then began to charge at you and Thor. "It's us, Thor and (Y/n)." Thor said. You and Thor dodged the initial strike, but Thor was blow backwards by a vicious swing of Hulk's hammer.
"Thor!" You said. Thor stuck his sword into the ground to stop himself. He then unsheathed his swords on his back. Hulk gave a horrible roar. Hulk charged at you Thor, swinging his hammer. Thor blocked them with his swords, but was cut short as the Hulk delivered a kick that sent him flying into the wall. You then used your fire powers to attack him. The Hulk roared in pain, then sent you back. Hulk charged at Thor, who grabbed the large hammer that was lodged into the wall. Hulk lunged and Thor swung the hammer, hitting Hulk in the face and flinging him into the wall. Thor slowly approached Hulk, who was shaking his head in a pile of rubble. You then attacked Hulk with ice. You surrounded him with ice. Hulk smashed the ice to pieces. You then jumped up and kicked the Hulk in the face. "Hey, big guy. The sun's getting real low." Thor said, approaching slowly. You turned to him.
Hulk takes off his helmet. Scowling. "That's it. The sun's going down. We won't hurt you anymore. No one will." Thor said. Thor reached out a hand and continued to talk and Hulk reached out a hand also. Thor was about to take Hulk's hand, but Hulk took his first and began slamming him on the ground repeatedly. You winced. "YES! That's how it feels!" Loki shouted, pumping his fist in the air. The Grandmaster looked at him in confusion. "I'm just a huge fan of the sport." Loki said as he sat down, looking slightly embarrassed. Thor had gotten up and was hefting the large hammer in his hand. He swung at Hulk's leg, subduing him for a quick second. You then created big rocks and sent them towards Hulk, who smashed them into pieces. Hulk began to punch at him, and Thor dodged, looking annoyed. "What are you doing?" he yelled. "You're embarrassing me, I told them we were friends!" Hulk just roared in response.
Thor knocked him to the ground and lifted the hammer high above his head. He swung down, hard, but Hulk caught it. Thor froze as Hulk got up, realizing that he was helpless. Hulk punched him in the face, knocking him across the arena. You jumped up and kicked Hulk hard, knocking him back. Suddenly there was a loud sound of thunder. But it wasn't coming from Thor. Loki whipped around, and he saw a flash of blue and then Hulk was flying through the air. You stood up, surrounded with electricity. Your eyes glowed an unnatural blue. Hulk stumbled up, raising his fists to his face. You advanced on him, and you ran towards each other. You leapt up in the air, and so did Hulk. You landed the punch first, and Hulk was thrown back with an explosion of electricity. The noise of the crowd dwindled into nothing. Hulk struggled to rise as you stalked towards him, alive with blue energy. The crowd began chanting your name. "(Y/n)! (Y/n)! (Y/n)!" They shouted. Korg was also chanting in the crowd. The Grandmaster was holding a strange looking device. He pressed the button on the device. You began convulsing and you fell to the ground. "(Y/N)!" Thor cried. Then you blacked out.

You groaned as you woke up. You felt pain all over. "(Y/n)!" Thor said with relief. He ran over. "Are you okay?" He asked. You nodded as you slowly sat up. "Yeah. I'm fine. What happened?" You asked. "You went all crazy on Hulk after he sent me across the room. Then you passed out." Thor said. "Oh." You said. "You were incredible out there. You could've beaten him if Grandmaster didn't cheat." Thor said. "He zapped you which is what messed you up." Thor explained. You groaned again as you tried to stand up. You gasped as you suddenly saw Hulk frowning at you. He moved closer to you. You quickly stepped back a little. "Uh, what's going on?" You asked. "Hulk sorry..." Hulk mumbled. You looked at him. "What?" You asked. "Hulk sorry. Hulk hurt (Y/n)." He said. You looked surprised. "Hulk remember (Y/n)." He continued. "Hulk sorry." He apologized. You smiled warmly. "It's okay, Hulk. I forgive you." You said. Hulk smiled. Hulk then noticed Thor. "Boyfriend?" He asked.
You shook your head. "We're just friends." You said. Hulk nodded. "How long have you been like that?" Thor asked. "Like what?" Hulk asked. "Like this. Big, green, ...stupid." Thor said. "Hulk always Hulk." Hulk said. Thor takes this in, and then walks over to a window that looks out across the city. Thor looks back out the window. He sees a ramshackle spaceship taking off and rocketing skyward. Higher and higher, it's going for a wormhole when one of Grandmaster's Palace Patrol ships, more modern and heavy duty, blows it out of the sky. Thor wheels turning. He turns to Hulk. "How'd you get here?" You asked. "Winning." Hulk said. "You mean cheating?" Thor asked. "Were they wearing one of these when you won? How'd you arrive here?" You asked.
"Quinjet." Hulk said. Hulk mimes a plane landing in the water. "Yes. Where is the Quinjet now?" Thor asked. Hulk stands up, and exits the hot tub, naked. "That's naked. He's very naked. It's in my brain now." Thor said. Hulk points out the window. "Quinjet." He said. You and Thor see the Quinjet in a massive alien junkyard. "Yes! I'm getting us out of here. This is a terrible, awful place. You're gonna love Asgard. It's big. It's golden. Shiny." Thor said. You chuckled. "Hulk stay." Hulk said. "No, no, no. My people need me to get back to Asgard. We must prevent Ragnarok." Thor said. "Rag-na-ruh?" Hulk asked. "The prophesied death of my home world, the end of days, it's the end of-" Thor stopped at Hulk's blank face. "If you help us get back to Asgard, we can help you get back to Earth." You said. "Earth hate Hulk." Hulk said.
"Earth loves Hulk. They love you. You're of the Avengers. One of the team, one of our friends. This is what friends do. They support each other." Thor persisted. "You're Banner's friend." Hulk said. "No, he isn't. He prefers you." You said. "Banner's friend." Hulk said. "I don't even like Banner." Thor said. Then he tried to imitate him. "I'm into numbers and science and stuff." Thor said in a mocking manner. You looked at Thor. "That was a terrible impression." You said. "You're not helping." Thor retorted. "Thor go. Hulk Stay." Hulk said. "Fine. Stay here. Stupid place. It's hideous, by the way. The red, the white. Just pick a color." Thor said. "Let's go, (Y/n)." Thor said. You and Thor head for the exit, a wide open door. "Smash you." Hulk said. "You didn't smash anything. We won that fight." Thor said. "I smashed you." Hulk said. "Yeah, sure, sure." Thor said. "Baby Arms." Hulk said. You laughed. "What?" Thor asked. "Baby." Hulk said. "Moron! You big child." Thor snapped. Thor grabs your hand and heads to the open entrance. Hulk smiles, anticipating. "Thor go! (Y/n) stay." Hulk said. You looked at him. "What?" You asked. "No, she's not staying. (Y/n)'s coming with me." Thor said. Thor's jolted back by the obedience disk. There are perimeter sensors in the doorway. Hulk chuckled. "Thor go again!" He said.

Hulk grabs his giant battleaxe. "Hulk trains." Hulk said. "That's great. Have fun." Thor said. Hulk exits. You watch him go. Then, at the end of the hallway Hulk meets up with Valkyrie. They begin play fighting, a clearly friendly rapport. You smiled softly at the sight. Thor can't believe it. He runs to the entrance, but by the time he reaches the perimeter sensors they are gone. Thor sighs and walks over to the window. He looks up through a wormhole stars are twinkling on the other end of it. "Thor, are you okay?" You asked. "I'm fine." He said. Hulk steps up to Thor, looking inquisitively down at him. "Thor sad." Hulk said. "Shut up." Thor said. Hulk hits Thor, bullying him into opening up. "THOR SAD!!!" Hulk said. "Hulk, stop." You warned. "I'm not sad, you idiot. I'm pissed off! Angry. I lost my father. I lost my hammer." Thor said.
He turns to see Hulk punching his pillow. "Whining and crying. Cry like baby." Hulk said. "You're not even listening." Thor said. Thor kicks a random helmet. "Thor, try to calm down." You said. "Don't kick stuff." Hulk said. "You're being a really bad friend." Thor said, ignoring you. "You bad friend!" Hulk said. "Guys..." you warned. "You know what we call you?" Thor asked. "No." Hulk said. "We call you the stupid Avenger." Thor said. "You're tiny Avenger!" Hulk said. Hulk throws a shield that nearly decapitates Thor. "What, are you crazy?" Thor shouted. "Yes." Hulk said. "Guys, I mean it. Stop fighting." You said. "You know what? Earth does hate you." Thor snapped. You glared at Thor. "What the hell, Thor?!" You asked. "Look, I know how you're feeling right now but you don't need to be such a jerk." You said. "Me? A jerk? Hulk was the one who started it." Thor said. "That doesn't mean you have to be so mean." You said. "You know what (Y/n)? If you feel this way then why don't you just leave me here and go back to your own little planet." Thor said.
"If you haven't realized, I'm just as stuck as you are!" You snapped. Thor narrowed his eyes. "Are you really though? What about all of those so called powers of yours? If you're really as powerful as you claim, you would've gotten us out of here ages ago!" Thor said. "For your information, I am a powerful witch. It's just hard for me to understand all of my powers and control them." You said. "It didn't seem that hard when you were creaming Hulk in the battle." Thor spat. "I'm stronger with certain powers." You said. "Well, you're still weak compared to me. And to the rest of the team. In fact, we don't even need you on the team. So just go back to wherever you came from and stay there." Thor said. "I'm much stronger than you'll ever be." You said. "I highly doubt that." Thor said. "At least I could actually hold my own against the Hulk. You couldn't even fight." You said.
"Yes, I have lots of powers, but I need to learn them. And you're right, if I could, I would have gotten us out of here! So I could go back to my own little planet so we never have to see each other ever again!" You said. You quickly ran to the wall and covered your head with your knees. Thor turned to see Hulk glaring at him. He sighed, then went over to you and sat beside you. "(Y/n), I... I'm sorry. I didn't mean any of it. It's just... I want to go home. I want to stop Ragnarok. But I can't as long as I'm stuck here." He said. You sighed and looked at him. "I know. I'm sorry." You said. Hulk came and sat beside you. "Hulk, I'm sorry." Thor said. "It's okay." Hulk said. "Hulk, I need you to do something for us." Thor said.

"Angry girl!" Hulk said. Val bounds forward and gives The Incredible Hulk a big hug. Hulk laughs and then begins playfully roughhousing with Val. "What's going on? What do you...?" Hulk steps away, allowing Valkyrie to see you and Thor. Her smile disappears. She stares at Hulk, so annoyed. Hulk mopes a little. She turns back to you and Thor. "You're so thick-headed that you can't tell when someone's hiding all the way across the universe and wants to be left alone?" She asked. "Please, we need to talk." You said. "No, you want to talk to me." Valkyrie turns to leave. "We need her to stay." Thor said. Hulk rips the headrest off the bed and chucks it at the doorway. "Stay!" The woman stopped, her head cocked. She then turned back you three. She then walked towards a rack full of liquor. She picked one up and showed it to you.
"Alright, here's the deal. I'll listen to you until this is empty." She then tipped back her head and began to down the brown liquid. You started to talk very quickly. "Asgard is in danger. People are dying. We need to get back there and we need your help--wow." She had already finished the drink and looked at you with a cocky glint in her eyes, smirking. "Finished." She dropped the glass on the ground, shattering it. "Bye." She began to walk off. "Odin is dead." Thor said in a somber voice. She paused. "Hela the goddess of death has invaded Asgard." She gave a side glance, her eyes cloudy. "If Hela is back, then Asgard is already lost." You stepped forward. "We're going to stop her." She looked at you, eyebrows raised. "Alone?" she asked. "Nope. I'm putting together a team. It's me, (Y/n), you, and the big guy." Thor said. "No, no team, only Hulk!" Hulk yelled from the other side of the room. He was bouncing a bowling ball on the wall. "It's me, (Y/n), and you." She made a face. "I think it's only you two." You shook your head frantically. "Wait. Listen. The Valkyrie are legend. Elite warriors of Asgard sworn to defend the throne." You said. Valkyrie shook her head. "I'm not getting dragged into another of Odin's family squabbles." "What's that supposed to mean?" Thor asked.
"Your sister! Her power comes from Asgard, same as yours. When she broke beyond Odin's control, she massacred everyone in the palace and tried to take the throne. When she tried to escape her banishment, he sent the Valkyrie to fight her back. I only survived because...." she trailed off, her eyes incredibly sad. "Look. I already faced her once when I believed in the throne. And it cost me everything. That's what's wrong with Asgard. The throne, the secrets, the whole golden sham." She started to walk away. "I agree." Thor said, he grabbed at her arm. In a flash, she had a knife to his throat. "Don't get familiar." She hissed. You quickly stepped in and quickly melted the knife with your fire powers. "As I was saying, I agree. That's why I turned down the throne. But this isn't about the crown, this is about the people and they're dying and they're your people too." Valkyrie shoved Thor backwards.
"Forget it. We have." You shrugged. "Okay." Valkyrie said. "Okay." Thor said. "Thanks." You said. "For what?" She asked. "For what?" You held up a small device, which was the device that the Grandmaster had used to electrify you before. "For this." You pressed a button and the small obedience disk fell from your neck. You released the one on Thor as well. You had secretly teleported it to you without her knowing. Thor smirked. "Didn't see that, did ya? Go ahead, stay here. And enslave people for that lunatic. Keep drinking, keep hiding. But me," he clapped his hands, and Hulk threw him the bowling ball. "I choose to run towards my problems, not away from them. Cause that's what-" He threw the bowling ball at the large window, it bounces back at him and hits him in the face. He falls to the floor. You groaned and face palmed. He jumped up. "Cause that's what heroes do." He grabbed your hand and leapt out of the window.
