The Revengers
You and Thor sprint in and look around. "Man, this place is big." Thor said. You run down aisles of crushed and stripped spacecrafts, a giant smelter, and then into what looks like a used car lot. And then you see it. The Quinjet. You and Thor enter and rush to the controls. "All right." You said. You turned on the spaceship and powered it up. Thor places his hand on a pad which scans his handprint. Lights up green. "Voice verification required." The jet said. "Thor." Thor said. "Access denied." The computer said. "Thor, son of Odin." Thor said. "Access denied." It said again. "God of Thunder." Thor said. "Access denied." It said. "Strongest Avenger." Thor said. You rolled your eyes. "Access denied." The computer said. "Strongest Avenger!" Thor said. "Access denied." The computer said. "Thor, you're not the strongest Avenger." You said. "I am too." He said.
"Damn you, Stark." Thor said. "Point Break." Thor said. "Welcome, Point Break." The jet said. You laughed. "Oh, Tony." You said. Suddenly Hulk runs into the jet. "Friends stay!" He said. "No, no, no!" Thor said. As Hulk enters, he ruins the hull of the Quinjet. "Stay!" Hulk said. "Hulk, please stop!" You begged. "Don't go!" Hulk said. You trigger a message on the flight console. Suddenly Natasha appeared on screen. "Nice work, big guy. We don't know where Ultron's headed, but you're going very high, very fast." Natasha said. Hulk stops short. His whole demeanor changes. You step out of the way so that Hulk can see a recorded message from Natasha on the console. "So, I need you to turn this bird around, okay? We can't track you in stealth mode..." Natasha said.
Hulk is now right up against the console screen. "So I need you to help me out. Okay? I need you to..." Hulk tried to prevent himself from turning back into Banner. "No! No, Banner!" Hulk said. Hulk continued to struggle, but soon fell to the floor. After a few minutes, he had turned back into Banner. You and Thor rush to Banner's side to help ease the transition. "Banner. Hey, hey, hey. You all right, Banner? Sun's going down. Sun's going down. That's it, breathe. We won't hurt you. Sun's going down." Thor said. "Thor? (Y/n)?" Bruce asked. You smiled softly. "Yeah." You said. Bruce is groggy disoriented. Thoughts, memories, and observations begin to flood his brain randomly. "What happened to your hair?" Bruce asked Thor. "Some creepy old man cut it off." Thor said. "It looks good." Bruce said. "Thanks." Thor said. "Where are we? How's Nat?" Bruce asked. "Natasha is fine, Bruce." You smiled.
"And what about Sokovia?" Bruce asked. "Sokovia?" Thor asked. "The city, Sokovia. Did we save it?" Bruce asked. "Banner, listen." You said. "What?" He asked. "Sokovia. Ultron. That was two years ago." You said. "What are you saying? I've been Hulk for two years?" Bruce asked. "I'm afraid so." Thor said. Bruce's eyes widened. "What the hell happened?" Bruce asked. Banner rushes to his feet. You and Thor follow. "Banner, there's something you should know..." you said. Banner goes to the flight console. "Voice Activation required." The jet said. "Banner." Bruce said. "Welccome, Strongest Avenger." The jet said. "What?" Thor asked, puzzled. You laughed. "Ship's log..." Bruce said. the ship's log pops up on screen. From behind the display (within the monitor looking out) there are fragmented images of the Hulk's trip through deep space. The angry green giant thrashes around in zero gravity. The Hulk gets closer to the camera, looking stressed and car sick. Hulk's freaked out face is super-imposed over Banner's freaked out face.
"Guys, where are we?" Banner asked. "About that." You said. "It's bad news, bad news today." The Grandmaster said over the PA. Banner rushes over to the windshield. Through it he sees Grandmaster, his hologram projection towering over the city. "Sakaar, hear ye. Attention please. I have some bad news. My beloved exalted Champion has turned up missing. Take to the streets. Celebrate my champion." The Grandmaster said. "Who's that?" Banner asked. "He kind of runs the place. You actually lived in his house." You said. He gave you a confused look. "I did?" He asked. "Yeah. Quite a lot's happened. You, (Y/n) and I had a fight recently." Thor said. He looked worried. "I fought (Y/n)?" He asked. "Yes." Thor said. He looked at you. "Are you all right? I didn't hurt you, did I?" He asked. You smiled. "It's okay, Bruce. You didn't hurt me." You said, which eased his nerves a little, but he was still a little worried. He hoped that Hulk didn't do anything to hurt you. "It seems that that criminally seductive Lord of Thunder and his witch friend have stolen him away." The Grandmaster said. "Seductive GOD of Thunder. We need to move." Thor said. "Oh, no. This is bad. This is really, really bad. Guys, I think I'm freaking out." Banner said. "No, no, no. Don't freak out. You're okay. Put these on." Thor tosses Banner some clothes. Banner looks at them. "These are Tony's clothes." He said. "We know." You said. "Is he here?" Banner asked. "No, he's not here. But listen. Just stay calm, okay? The sun's going down. The sun's getting really low. Sun's going down." Thor said, as he tried to keep Banner calm.
Banner sits, groaning, head in his hands. You are beside him, rubbing his back and on the lookout for threats. "The sun's going down. It's getting really low. The sun's going down. It's getting real low." Thor said. "Would you stop saying that!?" Banner snapped. "Yeah, you know you'll never be as good as Natasha, Thor." You said. He glared at you for a moment. "We just need you to stay calm." Thor said to Banner. "Calm!? I'm on an alien planet!" Banner said. "You've been on a planet before." You said. "Yeah! One!" He retorted. "Now you've been on two. That's a good thing. It's a new experience." Thor said. "My neurons, they're firing faster than my brain can handle the information. The whole thing is totally different this time. Banner said. "In the past, I always felt like Hulk and I each had a hand on the wheel, but this time it's like he had the keys and I was locked in the trunk." He said. "Well, you're back now, that's all that matters, right?" You asked. "No, it's not what matters. What I'm trying to tell you, is that if I turn into the Hulk again, Banner may never come back. And we're stranded on a planet that is designed to stress me out." Banner said. "We're not stranded, I'm gonna figure out a way to get us home." Thor said. "Thank you." Banner said. "Not your home, though. Asgard." Thor said. "What?" Banner asked. "Listen, my people are in great danger. You, (Y/n) and I, we have to fight this really powerful being who also happens to be my sister." Thor said. "Okay, that is so wrong on so many... I don't wanna fight your sister. That's a family issue." Banner said. "She's an evil being, actually." You said. "I don't care what she is. I'm not fighting any more beings. I'm sick of it. I just told you. If I turn into the Hulk, I am never gonna come back again. And you don't care." Banner said. "No, no. I'm putting together the team. The Hulk is the fire." Thor said.
"Wait, you're just using me to get to the Hulk." Banner said. "Banner, that's not what-" he interrupted you. "It's gross. You don't care about me. You're not my friend." Banner accused. "No! I don't even like the Hulk. He's all like... "smash, smash, smash." I prefer you." Thor said. "Thanks." Banner said. "But if I'm being honest, when it comes to fighting evil beings, he is very powerful and useful." Thor said. You face palmed. "Yeah, Banner's powerful and useful, too." Banner and. "Exactly. They've both useful." You said. "See? Thank you, (Y/n)." Banner smiled. "Are they?" Thor asked you. "How many PhDs does Hulk have? Zero. How many PhDs does Banner have? Seven." Banner said. "Fine, you don't have to fight anyone. But we're in danger here, so we have to move." Thor said. Thor grabs a towel from the ground next to him. He puts the towel over his head. "What are you doing with that?" Banner asked. "I need a disguise. I'm a fugitive. You should make one too, (Y/n)." Thor said. "I need a disguise." Banner said. "You are the disguise." Thor said. Banner finds a pair of Stark's sunglasses in his jacket. "I'll be Tony Stark." He said. "What?" Thor asked. "Sorry Banner, but you're gonna need more than his clothes to be Tony Stark. You gotta actually look the part." You said. Thor and Banner looked at you. Then you transformed into Tony. Their eyes widened. They didn't know you had this ability. Yeah, they knew you had a lot of other unknown powers, but this wasn't one you ever mentioned before. "Like this. Hi, I'm Tony Stark. I'm a billionaire and the smartest person you'll ever meet. I'm also the strongest Avenger. The others don't even compare. And I give my friends stupid nicknames." You said. Thor snickered and Banner tried to hold his laughter. "What're you laughing at Point Break?" You asked. Thor continued laughing and Banner couldn't hold it in anymore. "Aw man, if only Tony was here to see that." Banner said. "Yeah, his reaction would be priceless." Thor said. You smiled and turned back to your normal self. "Okay, let's go." Thor said. The three of you stand up. Banner starts adjusting his crotch.
"What are you doing? Stop doing that!" You said. "Tony wears his pants super tight!" Banner said. "Why are you being so weird?" Thor asked. "I don't know. Maybe the fact that I was trapped for two years inside of a monster made me a little weird." Banner said angrily. Banner flashes green. You pat him on the back to calm him down. "Hey. It's okay. You're good. Calm down. Come on. Listen, we're gonna go to Asgard and you're not gonna have to think about the Hulk ever again. All right?" You asked. "All right." Banner said. Banner gets nailed in the face with green paint. Caught off guard, you, Thor and Banner are swept off into a massive street festival where revelers dance and cheer while throwing powdered paint at each other... in celebration of Hulk. There is green everywhere. Inside the parade it is total chaos. You and Thor search for Banner as he's pelted with green powder. In the crowd you and Thor see a pack of scrappers on the hunt for the reward. You spot Banner. You surge forward, and grab Banner, and pull him into another alley, but Valkyrie is approaching from down the alley. "This is bad. Banner! Banner!" Thor said. You pull Banner back into the crowd. You briefly turn to see that you are no longer holding Banner's - but the arm of a small alien who squeals in fright. You and Thor see Banner across the crowd. You and Thor make your way through the madness, knocking rowdy fans aside. You both reach Banner and you hold him protectively, awkwardly trying to rub his shoulders. One of the aliens you knocked aside turns out to be a massive scrapper. He rears up, turning on you, Thor and Banner. You get ready to attack it with your powers, but Valkyrie clocks this Scrapper with a brass knuckle right cross. The Scrapper collapses. You look at Val while clutching Banner like a child. "Hi." You said. "Hi." She said. "I was gonna do that." You said. "Yeah, well, I did it first." She said. "That's good. What are you doing here?" Thor asked. "What are you doing here? I thought you two were leaving." She said. "We got sidetracked." You said. "What's with the..." Valkyrie asked.
"It's my disguise." Thor said. "But I can see your face." Valkyrie said. Thor covers his face. "Not when I do this, you can't." He said. You rolled your eyes. "Your hair looks nice. I like what you did with it. Change it? Washed it maybe?" Thor asked. Valkyrie just rolls her eyes then takes Thor by the arm. "What are those things on her eyes? Are those the people that she's killed? She's so beautiful and strong..." Banner said. Valkyrie escorts you, Thor and Banner through the street. "Who is this guy?" She asked. "He's a friend." You said. "Who? Me? I'm Bruce." Banner said. Val leads you three into the Sakaarian apartment building. "I feel like I know you." She said. "I feel like I know you too." Banner said. The four of you continue down the hallway. "Look, I've spent years in a haze trying to forget my past. Sakaaar seemed like the best place to drink and forget and to die one day." Valkyrie said. "I was thinking that you drink too much, and that probably was going to kill you." Thor said. "I don't plan to stop drinking, but I don't want to forget. I can't turn away anymore. So, if I'm going to die, well... it may as well be driving my sword through the heart of that murderous hag." Valkyrie said. "Good." You said. You four arrive at a door. But before you enter: "Yeah. So I'm saying that I wanna be on the team. Has it got a name?" Valkyrie asked. "Yeah, it's called the Revengers." Thor said. "Revengers?" You asked in disbelief. "Because I'm getting revenge. You're getting revenge. (Y/n) is getting revenge. "Do you want revenge?" Thor asked Banner. "I'm undecided." He said. "Okay." Thor said. "Also, I've got a peace offering." Valkyrie said.
