Let's start off with... "HOW?"

How this story actually started.

I started loving the Villain AU of Boku no Hero Academia back at the end of March maybe and start of April? Around that time. I didn't really know what it is until something popped up in my recommendations.

It's the story, Subject 1-A; Villain Midoriya Izuku by theshipper101

It was a really great story and I really had fun reading it, finishing it in one night. My parents didn't mind since it was summer in the Philippines and I have no classses.

Well, that story and that author introduced me to the villain AU and I really fell in love with the concept, searching videos about it in YouTube and reading other Villain AU stories in Wattpad, FanFiction.net and even Qoutev.

However, in my opinion, I think Subject 1-A still has the top spot for my favorite BNHA Villain AU story. So that's basically the inspiration for this one. And I really recommend you guys to read it. I assure you will enjoy reading it.

Now off to "WHY?"

Why I made this story even though I have a lot of other stories working on at the moment? (i.e Cadet Ackerman, In Love with a Killer Psycho, an AssClass Story and our collab story, Kevlar Academy)

Well, it all started when theshipper101 posted an challenge about Subject 1-A that she wants to know what our thoughts of an alternate ending for her story and I gave her my own alternate ending. And luckily, she like it! Teehee!

Then I started to have this mind blowing plot in my head since my imagination is pretty active and wide. I started out with a plot sort of similar to Subject 1-A, but decided to tweak it a bit and there comes Nekta.

She's like one of my latest---wait! Scratch that! The latest and newest addition to my Own Character list alongside Hazel from Levi's Secret, Kaiga and Mikka from Their Secret Ace and Asuka from Question.

Yeah, mostly of the OCs that I read about in fanfictions are Japanese and half-Japanese and sometimes just someone in from the respective country the story is based on.

So Nekta Ramirez became my very first Spanish blood Own Character and my first tan one too. That kinda adds to her mystery and she is, in a way, inspired by Leo Valdez from Heroes of Olympus because, come on! All the Ladies love Leo! I know I dang right do!

So that's basically how Nekta was made.

Anyway...the title. Hahaha! This is kinda funny, I think.

Well, we all know the song Demons by Imagine Dragons, right? I love that song. Well, there is this line that I misheard.

Instead of...

It's where my demons hide--

I heard and KEPT on singing this...

This' where my demons hide--

Yeah, kinda stupid. And when I was thinking of a good title, I was listening to that song and I typed it down. And I already made a cover after that with that misheard line.

And I also tried searching wattpad for a story with the same title and saw that most of the titles are the correct song lyrics. That's when I found out my lyrics were wrong. (Lols)

But I didn't changed it because first, it's really hard to make a cover and second, so my title is in someway unique. Haha.
