Silence reigned like a son of a bitch. It blanketed the car, and everyone in it. Of course, Marley and Emalee didn't mind. Emalee was reading, elbow-deep in her entrancing book, and Marley was watching, making, and looking at memes.

Eileen sighed and reached forward, turning on See Me Fall (the remix, of course. Duh).

Emalee looked up and smiled.

Marley continued to make a Vine compilation of the three of them.

Oh, fun times.

Eileen and Emalee rolled down all the windows and turned up the radio a bit too loud, whooping and letting their hair fly in the wind. They screamed the lyrics out the windows, flipping off other idiots and blowing sexy kisses to the rare hot guy.

"You guys are crazy," Marley said, shaking her head and fishing a pair of earbuds from her pocket. 

"FUCK YEAH WE ARE!" Eileen yelled. Emalee laughed, throwing an arm out the window.

Talkin' down like I'm a ghoul, yeah

You wanna watch that shit from porn, yeah

Kawasaki on the road, yeah

Yeah

Emalee tapped a beat on the body of the car, but lightly, so she wouldn't scratch up the paint job. If she so much as rubbed some off, Eileen would kill her.

Literally.

Marley hummed along mindlessly, working some more on the comp. Come on, it was almost done....

When the song was over, the sisters high-fived, and Emalee picked up Eileen's phone, connected by AUX to the car.

"MotorSport okay with you?"

"Yeah, man."

She turned it on and danced in her seat to the fast, dirty rap, singing along to a few bits. Eileen bobbed her head, drumming on the steering wheel. 

The trip back to Marley's house slowly faded into choppy naps and long reading sessions. They pulled into the driveway, and Marley shot out of the car, blasting inside.

"I missed you, house!" she yelled, laughing and twirling around the joined kitchen, dining room, and living room. Emalee and Eileen following close behind her laughed at Marley's antics. 

They all flopped backward onto the couch and turned on Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone for the millionth time. There wasn't really a point to it, though. They just talked and laughed through it, pointing out major and minor differences between the books and the movies. 

Near the end, they were all lethargic with sleep. 

"Weeeeeeeee," Emalee giggled, waving her arms in the air. Marley giggled too.

"You're crazy."

"Crazy people don't know they are crazy. I know I'm crazy, therefore I'm not crazy. Isn't that crazy?!" she retaliated with a maniacal laugh. Both Eileen and Marley gave her the 'what the fuck is wrong with you' look. 

"We're all mad here, bitches, and you know it."

"Yup."

"Amen, sis."

There was a collective sigh and a moment of silence.

"I'm tired but I don't wanna sleep." Eileen let out a bark of laughter and turned her head to look at Emalee from her lying down position.

"Bro saaame," she laughed. Before they knew it, they were laughing their asses off. Marley jolted upwards, completely awake.

"SHIT! I FORGOT ABOUT CALI! Frick frick frick frick FRICK!"Marley yelped, jumping from her spot. "And we forgot to stop back at the motel I checked in at and pick up my Jeep and Emalee's truck-"

"Marley, woah there bud, calm down," Eileen said, sitting up. "First, let's go pick up Cali, wherever the hell you sent her. We can worry about the vehicles later."

Emalee smiled lazily and yelled, "We're going on a trip, in our favorite rocketship, zooming through the sky, Little Einsteins!"

"Come on, asshat, let's go already. I want to sleep," Eileen groaned, dragging Emalee from the couch. She groaned and reluctantly slumped to the Audi, once more tucking herself in the front seat. Marley and Eileen shared a look before following her.
