"Hey, Damian. Let's go ice skating."
"Now?"
"Yes."

Aubrey stood up from their booth at a cafe and dragged Damian to a nearby place where they can skate. "Mind telling me why we're all of a sudden going to skate? "Why not?" Damian rolled his eyes at this and enjoyed the warmth of her hands on his.

After awhile, they walked side by side just thinking about how they're both holding each other's hand, a goofy smile on their face. Every now and then, they would steal glances from each other.

"We're here!" Aubrey let go of Damian's hand, much to his dismay, and ran towards the entrance, immediately grabbing a pair of skates. Damian followed slowly, observing the place. There weren't any lights, cobwebs littered every corner of the room, dirt and dust looking as though it was a skin of the floor. The skates look clean and polished even with the shelves being dusty.

He took a pair and walked over to where Aubrey disappeared to. Upon entering the room, the lights suddenly turned on, showing a beautiful skating rink. He stood there in a daze from the beauty of the room. He snapped out of it though as he noticed Aubrey was already skating. He quickly placed the skates on and proceeded to walk - more like trip - down the stairs and into the rink. As soon as he stepped into the rink, he slipped, falling immediately on his arse.

Aubrey's sweet and melodious laugh echoed throughout the room as she skated over to Damian. She held out her hand for him to take, to which he gladly did. She helped him stand up properly but didn't let go of his hands even after he was able to balance on his feet.

"Do you not know how to skate?" She asked him. Damian blushed and sheepishly looked down while shaking his head. She let out a giggle and she started to lead him around whilst keeping him steady. Damian tried his best to just stay still for he was afraid he'd fall and she'd think he's an embarrassment. Hell, from her perspective, he looks like he's crouching.

After awhile of Aubrey leading him, she let go of his hands. Damian quickly straightened his posture and did his best to keep his balance. He spread out his arms as a way to balance more, causing Aubrey to laugh.

"Come on, just follow the way I glide." Aubrey started to actually skate slowly. Damian, though scared, did as he was told.

'Right, left, right, left.' He chanted in his mind. He slowly got the hang of it and started going fast, faster than Aubrey. Aubrey skated as fast as she could towards Damian just in case he would fall down again. And that he did.

Damian slipped and landed on his arse whilst laughing out loud. Aubrey slowed down near him and joined in on his laughing. "You okay there buddy?" From where Damian lies, all he could see was an angel staring down at him. With a huge smile gracing her lips, her blue eyes staring down at him with pure joy and bliss.

"Come on, stand up. We still have lots of time y'know." She straightened her posture and held out her hand once more. He grabbed it, pulling himself up, a huge goofy smile adoring his face. "Let's go then."

They skated for so long, staring at each other, holding hands. They have circled around the rink so many times, they've left a dent. At one point, Damian let go of her hand and glided as fast as he could. 'I need to impress her.' He thought. As much as he thought of it, he immediately regretted it as he slipped once more and crashed into Aubrey.

They both fell down and took a few moments for them to realize what happened. Damian immediately froze in place so as to cool down his red face. "Damian, I getting crushed over here.." Mumbled Aubrey into his ear. Damian immediately pushed himself up but stayed in place. They both froze, just staring at each other, almost as though they were memorizing each other's features.

Damian raised his hand and cupped Aubrey's cheek. Slowly, he started to lean in. Aubrey started to close her eyes as they both neared each other's lips. "WHO'S HERE!?" They both shot up and immediately ran towards the emergency exit before the guard would see them. As they got out of the building, they were left breathless and in fits of laughter. They both looked at each other with huge smiles, knowing that they've both fallen real hard.
