Cadenza's Dream

I woke up to the sound of police sirens outside of our house I got up out of my bed and slowly walked towards my door then reached up and pulled the knob and opened the door at the same time I heard the door of the room next to mine click shut as well I looked over and saw my older brother Ashton who was only a about 2-3 years older than me walk out with confusion on his face too. "Ashy whats happening?" I asked scared "I don't know Cadey lets go look quick before they leave" he walked to me and grabbed my hand jogging us down the stairs we saw our mummy talking to two tall police men we slowly walked up behind her trying to go unnoticed then,we heard it, "We regret telling you this Mrs. Irwin but your husband has been involved in a severe car accident and sadly didn't make it out alive." one said. I looked at Ashton "Ashy does he mean that daddy isn't okay?" I whispered he looked at me with a worried face "I don't know Cadey." then mummy spoke up to the two police men "What do you mean he didn't make it out alive? He just called 15 minutes ago saying he was almost home!" mummy said sadly/angrily the mens faces showed frowns and sadness "Ma'm...after he hung up a drunk driver hit the car head on,we couldn't save him in time,when we got there he was barley hanging on he said he wanted us to tell you that he loved you with all his heart and that he always will,and for Cadenza that he loves her with all his heart as well and that he knows that one day she will be selling out places with her dancinga nd singing and that she will be one od the most beautiful girls out there,and for Ashton that loved him with all his heart too and that he'll be breaking girls hearts here and there and that he will sell out places as well with his drumming and that no matter what he will always be there for you guys." the other man said,by now mummy was crying and Ashy was leadimg me back upstairs to his room with tears in his eyes he closed the door when we got in there hugging me. I started crying and hiccuping "A-Ash is da-dad-daddy dead?" I asked "I think so Cade I-I think so he said crying
