Hey everybody. This would be a normal update however this one is not. Something personal happened that I want to share with everyone.

I recently lost one of my five dogs. Roxy passed away around 3 am on Saturday, December 23rd.
Roxy was 3 years old and she was enjoying life one day. Then the next day, she was not herself.

Roxy was struggling to walk normal, threw up, drooling excessively, diarrhea and didn't eat her food. I took her to the UrgentVet Care and got her all the meds I got to treat her symptoms but whatever it was, it got the best of her and she crossed the Rainbow bridge in my arms.

The emergency vet suspects it was Whipworm or something more. An underlying health issue that didn't affect her until something caused it to hit her like a tsunami; nothing to stop it.

I asked my sister if I could bury Roxy at her property because she owns it. She said yes.
They helped bury her as I still wonder how this could happen to such a sweet, clever, adventurous, fun, loving dog like Roxy. She deserves to be alive, loved, enjoying life, not in the ground.

Roxy's death has hit me hard like a fright train and my other 4 amazing dogs also miss her. I hardly get any proper sleep, worrying about my other 4 amazing dogs that I am getting all 4 checked out by the vet, nothing left unchecked no matter how much money I don't have so whatever happened to Roxy health wise, won't happen to them either.

To any pet owners out there, please take your pets to the vet right away if they are not acting like themselves and your gut is turning to know that something is wrong. Please don't worry about vet costs until afterwards.

Dear Lord, take Roxy in your arms where she will never go hungry, thirsty, cold, and never scared. And that Roxy is in lush green woods, fields, rivers and mountains with the bright, full moon to shine her way with not a worry in the world, watching over her puppies from above.
You will be in this story, Roxy. I will write all about you; not a detail left out. You will forever live in this story, sweet girl, Roxy. Amen.
