[Reader's POV]

It's morning. I stared to wake up from the bed i slept in as it was the time for me and the other heroes to begin our journey. We woke up early, ate breakfast and made our preparations as we wait for the king's summons. Today, we're meeting our party members and go on an 'adventure' so to speak.

I can practically feel the other heroes' excitement. Ren may deny it, but even he is exited to meet our party members. Why else would he wake up earlier than anyone else?

While waiting for the summons, I'm reading everything in the help menu to pass the time. I should've done this last night, but I fell asleep. Few things from the help menu stood out for me.

First, there's that interference between the Legendary Weapons. It turns out the minister was right about this. Excluding the waves, us leveling up in the same area would reduce our exp. gain to absolute 0. Us being in the same party also results in no exp. Gain, no exceptions. But because the weapon i have is not a official Cardinal Weapon, that limitation does not apply to me.

Looking at the HUD clock, I noticed it's about 10 which means I was checking the entire help menu for about a hour and half. We should be called anytime now. And soon enough, the knights fetched us and led us to the throne room.

Aultcray: You may enter now, heroes.

The huge doors opened to reveal adventurers, 15 in total, fully prepared for an adventure.

Knights, mages, archers and what I can only describe as a thief. The king certainly works fast. We just arrived and yet, he already found these people.

Aultcray: As promised, Here are all the adventurers we selected to go with you on your adventures. These people here are the best adventurers of Melcromarc so rest assured, they are qualified enough to join your party.

The King then spoke up again, his voice picking up a notch as though he was going to deliver a rousing battlefield speech.

Aultcray: Heroes and future champions, it is time to start your adventure! Champions, stand behind the hero you have chosen to fight alongside!

As they walked behind us and started forming lines behind us, I kept my gaze squarely on the King. This was it, this was going to be my first opportunity to see if my fears last night were either going to be proven right or unfounded altogether. And the lines that formed were as follows: Ren had a party of five standing behind him, four were gathered behind Motoyasu and three had chosen to follow Itsuki. I looked towards Naofumi who had absolutely no one behind him.

Y/n: *thinking* Someine must've told someone about Naofumi's weak power.

???: Hello, Masked Hero.

I looked to see a light brown haired woman with violet eyes, glasses and what appears to be mage clothing.

Diana: Hello, Masked Hero. I am Diana.

Y/n: It's a pleasure to meet you Diana. I'm sure the two of us will get along.

Naofumi: Wha- huh?! *counts the out of adventurers have behind them* 1 there. 3 there. 5 there. 4 there?! Yo, king!

Aultcray: *sighs* I am loathed to admit it, but even I was not expecting this.

Motoyasu: No volunteers? He must have zero charisma.

A man walked next to the king and whispered something in his ear.

Aultcray: I've been made aware of an unsettling rumor.

Naofumi: Has something happened, sir?

Aultcray: Not exactly. The rumor that is quickly spreading around town is that the so called shield hero is ignorant of this world.

Naofumi: What?!

Aultcray: The legend tells us the heroes arrive with a firm understanding of our land. And the townspeople seem to think he doesn't meet that criteria.

Naofumi: Regardless, you don't need 5..*turns to Ren* Ren! How about you give a couple of them to me!

Ren: I'm a loner, you're right. *to his group* I don't need them. Whoever cannot cut it gets left behind.

Naofumi: *turns to Motoyasu* Motoyasu, help me out! Don't you think this is unfair?

Motoyasu: *rubs the back of his head* Yeah, I'm surprised my party is all girls, too.

Itsuki: It might seem to be the most fair if we split them up as evenly as possible. But if we try to force the issue it could destroy everybody's morale.

Naofumi: So, what? You're telling me I just have to go it alone?!

???: Hold on a moment, your Majesty.

A voice called out from behind us, interrupting what the King was about to say. My neutral expression gave way to one of surprise, an expression mirrored on the faces of the other Heroes as we turned around to look at who spoke up. The person in question was stepping out of the line that had formed behind Motoyasu and was now walking up towards us, hand raised to get everyone's attention

Redhead: I would like to join the Shield-Hero's party.

I'm surprised that no-one here has had a heart attack or a nervous breakdown due to the number of surprises that have been thrown at them today, this merely being the latest in an expanding sequence of them.

Her figure was an alluring one, but one which also screamed the words 'manipulative' and 'self-serving' to those of a more suspicious persuasion. She sported red hair that cascaded all around her neck and which was adorned by various pearls, a purple collar to which was attached a small red ornament, and was clad in brown leather armour and a purple skirt, to which was attached a sword on her left side.

My skin shook in a way that was not pleasant from seeing this woman.

Y/n: *thinking* This is the first I'm seeing her..and strangely, I already see her as a Bitch.

Motoyasu: *to the Redhead* Are you sure about this?

Myne: I am..*goes to the shield hero* I am Myne Sophia. I'm happy to be by your side.

Naofumi: Well, you can call me Naofumi. I'm happy to have you on my side as well.

She nodded in return and moved to stand beside Naofumi as we all turned back round to face the King, who had remained silent as this all played out in front of him. Seeing that we were finished, the King moved to carry on with what he had been about to say before Myne interrupted.

Aultcray: I was about to say, let us now move on now to the last matter at hand.

He then went explained at how each month we'd each be given some funds in order to purchase equipment, supplies and pay for food and board if we were staying anywhere. Initially, the King offered me and Naofumi 700 silver and the rest 600 due to myself and him having fewer party members.

Diana: Shall we be off, Master Y/n?

Y/n: Yeah. I wanna what this world has to offer.

With that business concluded, and the and party members are set, the King spoke one final time.

Aultcray: Use these funds to procure all the necessary supplies and set forth on your journey. Go well, Heroes!"

At this everyone stood at attention, bowed appropriately and called out "Yes sir!" in response before turning to leave the throne room to start making preparations for the journey ahead.

[Outside]
Me and Diana were outside to Grassy fields, battling some orange balloon monsters. Honestly, their not that bad. Even with our fists, they go down pretty quick. I look to see her chanting some Earth spells which made the ground shoot out rock spikes that pierced through the monsters in front of her before they popped.

Y/n: Neat.

A notification pops up in front of me and it showed that I have gained 15 exp. I looked towards Diana who also gained 15 exp. as well.

Diana: We are gaining some skills, Sir Y/n.

Y/n: Yeah.

Diana: How come you haven't used your Weapon in battle?

Y/n: Well, these are the weaker monsters. You might as well use your fists to kill them. Plus, I'm at level 10.

Diana: *in shock* Level 10?!

Y/n: *takes out Wonder Ride Book* It must be due to this things power.

Feeling curious, I take a look at this object and decided to open it. When I did, a voice boomed out.

[Brave Dragon!]

Y/n: Whoa.

[There was once a God Beast possessing a great power that would destroy everything..]

Y/n: A God Beast..interesting.

Diana: So..

Y/n: eh?

Diana: Is it true that you are Kamen Rider Saber?

Y/n: That's right, Diana. You pretty good for a mage.

Diana: *smiles* Thank you.

[With Naofumi and the dreaded Bitch]*yes, I'm calling her that early. Naofumi will refer her as Myne..you all can call her Bitch of you wish*

Naofumi and Myne were walking in the marketplace of Melromarc as the young man then recalls a conversation he had with Y/n before they left..

[Earlier]
As the parties are splitting up to start their own adventures, Naofumi and Myne(Malty/Bitch) was about to head out as well. However, Y/n grabbed his friend by the shoulder, gaining his attention.

Y/n: Sorry, bud, but we need to speak for a moment.

Y/n dragged him towards an area where they can speak freely without anyone else listening.

Naofumi: What's up, Y/n?

Y/n: It's about that redhead woman that joined you.

Naofumi: Yeah. What about it?

Y/n: Doesn't it feel a bit sketchy from walking towards Motoyasu and then suddenly deciding to join you?

Naofumi: Well, maybe she just wanted to show a change of heart and decide to help me.

Y/n: All I'm saying is that you should be careful around Myne. Cause you really won't know if she have any other motives.

Naofumi: Trust me, Y/n. I know what I'm doing.

Naofumi then turned back and walked with Myne to start off as Y/n stared at them, sighing while shaking his head a bit.

Y/n: *to himself* No, my friend..I don't think you do.

[Flashback end]
Naofumi and Myne are shown traveling through the marketplace, with Myne and him having a friendly chat about where to go. Myne then proceeds to running ahead, presumably to a shop. Cut to a visual of a wall covered in shields as light pours in from an opening door. Myne and Naofumi enter the establishment, taking in the sight.

Myne: This is my recommendation.

Naofumi: Ehh? An armory?

???: Welcome.

Naofumi looked to see is a middle-aged (or older) Caucasian male whose well-built body, notably face and arms, is full of old scars. He has a shaved head, Amish-style beard without a mustache, brown or black eyes, and partially darker skin. He wears an off-white undershirt with medium-length sleeves beneath a beige overalls-like forger apron (with a brown pouch-like bag on the waistline) hung only by the left shoulder, black gloves, dark brown pants, and brown-beige upturned boots.

Erhardt: It's your first time in a weapon shop, right? You obviously have good tastes.

Naofumi: Yeah, she brought me.

Erhardt: Hmm? Haven't I seen you somewhere before?

Myne: It's because I came earlier. Your store is famous.

Erhardt: Thanks for the compliment. By the way, who is the boy in the strange suit?

Myne: Can't you tell?

Erhardt: Eh?! So you're the shield. Bit of bad luck there, eh?

Naofumi tries to laugh off the comment, only to appear conflicted.

Naofumi: *thinking* Why does everyone know about me already? It doesn't matter. It'll all be over if I don't worry about that. *to Erhardt* I'm the shield hero, Iwatani Naofumi. It's a pleasure to meet you.

Erhardt: Naofumi? Well, if you become a great man, it doesn't matter whether you're the shield or something else.

Erhardt: It's a pleasure, boy!

Myne: Could you get a weapon for him? Let's say, something worth about 250 silver.

Erhardt brings out swords of different materials to show to the duo. When Naofumi tries to pick one up, however, sparks ripple off, forcing him to drop the sword. He tries once more while confused, causing the sword to fly out of his hand and skewer the flooring behind him.

Naofumi: What in the hell was that?!

Erhardt: I don't know either.

Myne: It was as if it just flew out of your hand.

A help screen appears to Naofumi. It states that he isn't allowed to weild anything as a weapon, other than the cardinal shield.

Naofumi: *thinking* Violation? What's that?! Am I forced to only fight with this shield?

Naofumi: I can't seem to use another weapon due to this shield.

Erhardt: What kind of enchantment is that?

As Erhardt examines the shield, he questions how it's stuck on Naofumi. He let's Erhardt know that he could move it around on his body, but can't seem to remove it.

Erhardt: Strange. I feel a great power, but I don't know much about it. *to Naofumi* Well, you showed me something interesting. You want some armor, then?

The scene cuts to show Naofumi walking out of the dressing room with a familiar set of chainmail. A status window also opens to show the armor's stats.

Erhardt: Now you look like a hero.

Naofumi: Thank you.

Myne and Erhardt talk about prices, before finishing the transaction. Afterwards, Myne practically drags Naofumi back out of the shop to begin grinding monsters.

Naofumi: It's time to raise my level! My adventure begins now!

Cut to a scene of Naofumi wandering the grassland, Myne staying back to let Naofumi figure out how to fight as is. Many balloons show up, and Naofumi begin punching them when they get close enough. Eventually, many attack at once, overwhelming Naofumi tiny attacks. He's shown with many chomping on his limbs, but he is unhurt by it. Five minutes pass as he continues to punch the ballons before one finaly pops, earning him 1 exp.

Nearby, Ren is shown killing 4 balloon in less than 4 seconds. Myne walks forward, unshething her sword to help with grinding. Cut to nearing evening, with Naofumi and Myne gathering balloon scraps and having the shield absorb them. As they're absorbed, an equipment tree is revealed with only the base small shield currently unlocked on it.

Myne: *thinking* Impressive. It can absorb a lot.

Myne: This is the power of the legendary weapons."

Naofumi: I guess it doesn't hurt when they bite me, thanks to this. Although I need more so that it becomes another shield."

Myne: I see.

Naofumi: By the way, can you sell the skin of that orange ball?

Myne: Of course. But the most they'll give you would be one copper for each."

The duo stand up, and proceed to head to the castle town again. Cut to a night view of Erhardt's weapon shop, followed by the duo entering it to get Myne her equipment.

Erhardt: Equipment for you? It's true that if I give you something good, you will be stronger.

Myne: Right?

Naofumi walks forward to begin haggling with Erhardt befor he even see the equipment that Myne picks out. The haggling quickly becomes heated, as Naofumi keeps suggesting ridiculously low prices for the equipment. Before it could come to blows, however, Myne dumps a set of equipment onto the counter, breaking the boys' eye contact.

Naofumi: "How much will it be?"

Erhardt: It'll be 480 silvers, not lowering the price.

Naofumi: *muttering* Then I would have about 200 silver left.

Naofumi: Can't you start with something cheaper? I don't know how much the inn and food will cost.

While explaining how more powerful party members mean more profitable monsters, Myne gropes his abdomen in a flirtatious way.

Naofumi: This is the kind of thing that happens when you're transported to another world.

Naofumi: G-Guess there's no other choice. Well, I'll get it for you. Oh, by the way, where would we sell these?"

Erhardt: There's a store where they'll buy monster materials. He'll buy it from you.

Cut to an inn, where the duo are seated at a table, eating together. They both seem to be enjoying themselves during dinner.

Naofumi: How rich! The food in the castle was good, but this really looks like something taken from another world.

Naofumi brings out a small map, and begins getting his bearing on where everything is.

Naofumi: We fought here today, right?

Myne: Yes. We'll go over there tomorrow. To Rafa. There's a dungeon.

Naofumi: A dungeon?!

Myne: You won't get much good equipment there, but it's a good place for you to level up.

Naofumi: I understand.

Myne: Now, I have better equipment and with your strength it'll be easy.

Naofumi: I see. Thank you. It was very helpful.

Myne: It was nothing. By the way...

Myne picks her wine glass, as if to prepare a toast. Upon Naofumi's polite refusal, she takes a long sip of the down her glass, she nudges it against the glass meant for Naofumi.

Naofumi: She seems a bit flirty, but...'

Naofumi: I-I'm sorry. It's not my thing.

Myne: I see. Too bad. I didn't expect any less from you.

It ends up being explained how women have special treatment in Melromarc. Upon a slight apolegy, Naofumi stands up, stating that he's gonna head to bed early.

Myne: I'll drink a little more, although it's a bit boring to do it alone.

Naofumi: Thanks for following me in spite of me not being able to fight well.

Naofumi: One day we'll drink together."

Myne: Don't worry. Good night.

As Naofumi heads up the stairs, Myne takes one last glance in the direction of the stairs. Cut to Naofumi heading to hi's room for the night, with Naofumi calculating his current monetary situation. Afterwards, he hides the needed money for the night's stay on the underside of the cardinal shield.

Naofumi: *thinking* I managed to defeat some monsters today. Although they looked like a few simple balloons. I'm really in another world.

Naofumi silently cheers to himself as he sits up to blow out the lights. Motoyasu and Itsuki could be heard outside of his room. With the candle blown out, Naofumi enters the beds, and the scene fades out. Unfortunately for him, shit for him is gonna get worse.

[The Fated Morning]
The day starts with the sounds of many carriages stopping outside the window, with many marching footsteps being heard. Y/n can be seen sleeping on the bed.

Y/n: *feels something heavy on him* Ugh..what's on me?

Y/n looked down to see his mage Diana sleeping on top of him. Her head was close to his face as she snored peacefully.

Y/n: Diana..

She started to groan as she woke up. Her vision became clear as she saw Y/n smiling at her a bit awkwardly

Y/n: Any reason why you are sleeping on me?

Diana: *flustered* O-oh, i..

Before she can talk, a loud banging on the door was heard.

Royal guard: The king has requested your presence alongside the rest of the legendary heroes.

Y/n: For what reason?

Royal Guard: The Shield Hero is in trial for raping the First Princess.

Diana: A trial?

After a few minutes of getting dressed in their own clothing, they follow the royal knights to the palace.

[Timeskip]

Y/n and Diana stood with the remaining for heroes inside the throne room. Next to Motoyasu was Myne, clinging onto him for protection. Sitting behind them on his throne as a disgusted king. Surrounding the room was a contingent of guards, prepared for anything, and all Y/n could think to himself, was "Why?"

As the doors opened, followed by Naofumi, no longer wearing any of his gear outside of some rags, and is shield, was being escorted by several guards. As they entered the throne room, Naofumi was thrown onto the floor before two guards angled their spears at his throat, followed closely by the rest of the escort team pointing them at his back.

Naofumi: Myne! Your alright!

The redheaded woman didn't saying, but cower more in Motoyasu.

Naofumi: Myne? *turns to the king* Yo king! Someone stole all of my money and gear while I was asleep, I need you to find the thief and-

Aultcray: *roars with anger* SILENCE YOU BASTARD!

Naofumi: *jumps back in shock* What's that for?

Aultcray: Myne, I apologize for asking this of you again, but could you testify once more?

Myne: When the Shield Hero came back to our rooms... he was really drunk. *pretends to sob* He barged into my room and tried to... tried too. *voice began to shake* Have his way with me.

Naofumi: "What the hell?!"

Motoyasu: I would have cut you into a thousand pieces if she hadn't asked me to wait for the knights.

Naofumi: What are you talking about?! I went to sleep after eating!

It was then that Naofumi noticed the outfit that Motoyasu was wearing. Motoyasu explains that Myne gave it to him as a gift before the events that Naofumi is being convicted on.

Aultcray: You broke the most sacred rule of this kingdom, shield hero.

Royal Right-Hand: Even attempted sexual assault on a woman in Melromarc is punishable with the death penalty.

Y/n: Wait, im sorry..Death?!

Naofumi: I told you, it's a misunderstanding! I didn't do anything! If you insist, I demand proof!

Y/n: I like to see some as well.

A royal guard approaches the throne, and reveals a piece of lingerie, claiming that it was found on the shield hero's bed after a short investigation. Myne covers her eyes, screaming while running toward Ren's side. Motoyasu takes a protective stance in front of her.

Aultcray: That's the proof.

Y/n: That piece of clothing could belong to any woman. How can you be 100% certain that belongs to the princess?

Myne: Are you calling me a liar??

Naofumi: That wasn't even there when I woke up!

Itsuki: It's a shame. I was worried that something could happen.

Ren: It seems that he believed he could do anything he wanted, just cause he's a hero.

Naofumi: I don't believe that!

Motoyasu: You aren't the protagonist of this world! Learn your place!

At this, Naofumi takes a knee as if he was stuck in the side.

Naofumi: 'What's this feeling? *looks towards Myne* What the hell is going on?! Why did you do it, Myne?!
Are we not companions?!

Naofumi looks up in order to see Myne's face. Myne is shown to be grinning, as she sticks her tongue out and pulls down her lower takes on a look of shock. Y/n also sees this and sensed that he was right about this woman. She was only acting nice just to steal and pin him for a false crime.

Naofumi: *thinking* I see. It was just a lie to deceive me. The smile and kindness you showed were too.

Naofumi: You... deceived me! You were always interested in throwing me aside!

Motoyasu: What are you talking about?! You're the criminal!

Naofumi: Don't screw with me! You just wanted my money and my team! I'm sure you were in it together!

Ren: When he's cornered, he starts to say meaningless nonsense.

Itsuki: That's right. He should not have any mercy.

Y/n: If that's the case, then why dont you send me and Naofumi back to our world?

Diana: Y/n...

Ren: Are you going to run away now that you have no choice? You're trash. *turns to Y/n* and what about you?

Y/n: I'm not gonna defend a world that basically ignores and belittle the Shield Hero out of pure malice.

Itsuki: You don't even think about doing your duty.

Y/n: Are you fuckin for real? You three stooges didn't even think of willing to help before the cultists bribed you with riches.

Motoyasu: Who do you think the fu-

The Rekka Kaenken was summoned, brought up and pointed at Motoyasu's neck, making the Spear Hero jump in fear as everyone turned to Y/n glaring heavily at the Spear Hero.

Y/n: I would really appreciate it if you shut you mouth.

Aultcray: *stares at Y/n* What do you think yo-

Y/n: *rudely to the king* Shut the fuck up. I'm talking, you're not. Have you even asked the inn keepers about the "rape" you say Naofumi has commited? Cause i'm pretty sure that if a woman was screaming, they would've heard it by now.

Aultcray: What my daughter speaks of is the truth and the truth only!

Naofumi: If that,s the case, then send me back!

Aultcray sighs as he sits down. He explains that the only way to send him back fully would be to send him back with the others. Needless to say, none of the heroes were happy about that.

Naofumi: Then I'll take care of the waves on my own!

Naofumi jerks all the guards around him backwards. As they try to once again subdue him, his cardinal weapon glows green as he seems to ward them away. It seems to take a lot out of Naofumi, as he's breathing heavily. The guards getup and attempt to subdue him but they were blasted away by a wave of fire due to the Rekka Kaenken thrown in front of Naofumi, who also didnt get thrown of burned.

Naofumi turned to see Y/n and Diana coming his way.

Motoyasu: Y/n!? What the living hell are you doing?!

Y/n: Quiet, you fucking simp. *picks up his sword* You have no right talking to me now.

Naofumi: *to Aultcray* What will you do? Are you going to put us in a cell until the waves arrive?

Aultcray: That would be foolish. We don't have much time and you two are one of the heroes, the only ones who can put up with the waves. But everyone knows what you did. That will be your punishment. Don't think you can live quietly here. *glares at Y/n* And because you are siding with the Shield Hero, don't think you'll have an easy life either.

Y/n: Hmph..your words mean shit to me. Diana, we're leaving.

The three goes to leave, before Naofumi noticing the change still stashed in his shield. He takes it out, and throws it at Motoyasu in anger. Motoyasu runs toward Naofumi, grabbing his arm to stop him, only for Y/n to gut punch him and kick him away, and leave the throne room.

Myne: *anger* You will pay dearly for this, Kamen Rider.

All Y/n did while walking out and not looking at her, flips her off.

Panning shot to a shadow in, well, the shadows listening to what's been happening.

[Timeskip]
Cut to a shot of the trio leaving the castle grounds towards the sunset, with nothing but the underclothes on his back. The shot ends with the portcullus closed over Naofumi's retreating back.

Naofumi: I cannot believe this happened to me.

Y/n: Not to worry, Naofumi. I'll help you through every step. At least you still have me and Diana. *looks towards his mage* Right, partner?

Diana: Of course. I never really liked her.

Naofumi: Thanks, you guys.

They traverse through town, getting angry glares and whispers from the townspeople.Upon entering the shop once more, Y/n saw a large man running his way with a fist ready to attack.

Focusing in on his trained instincts, he managed to dodge out of the way, albeit barely, and quickly stood up, taking a fighting stance.

Y/n: Really?

Erhardt: I heard about what you two did. I should really beat you up for that.

Y/n: Then what's stopping you now?

Erhardt: *sighs* I changed my mind.

Naofumi: Good. You were about to lose your life there.

Erhardt: Hold up a second. Come with me, guys.

The bald guy went into an alley and Naofumi followed. Shrugging, Y/n went along with him. The blacksmith holds out an outfit for Naofumi

Erhardt: You won't make it very far dressed like that. Consider this a parting gift.

Naofumi: How much?

Erhardt: Doesn't matter since you're broke but let's call it a clearance sale and say 5 copper.

Naofumi: Yeah, fine.

Erhardt: Oh, I almost forgot. *looking at Y/n* Your adventure outfit is ready.

Y/n: Neat.

[Timeskip]
After getting some privacy getting their new clothing on, Y/n and Naofumi come out with their new gear on.

[Naofumi's outfit]:

Y/n: Now this is something I like.

Suddenly, the surrounding area around the Blacksmiths shop and a few other streets were engulphed in a strange white energy rectangle.

Y/n, Naofumi and Diana looked around in confusion, as did many of the other pedestrians passing who were trapped.

Diana: *walks over to the edge of the barrier* What is all this?

Y/n: Wait, is this the Waves the King was talking about.

Diana: *shakes her head* No, I've never seen anything like this.

She went to touch the strange white energy that makes the barrier, only to pull her hand back when the energy sent a spark to her hand.

Diana: *jolts in pain* Ow! That really hurt!

Y/n: It hurts? *touches the barrier, receiving the same shock* OW, FUCK! *waves his hand to ease the pain* What is this thing....?

The sudden cries of terror caught the pair's attention as they turned around the corner where they saw the strange rock monster attacking people and destroying buildings, the buildings that got attacked started to decay into rusted book pages.

Diana: Is that some kind of golem? Why is it attacking everyone?

Naofumi: W-what is that thing?

The monster's hands on it's head begin to glow as they come off and flies towards the trio.

Y/n: Look out!

Y/n tackled both Naofumi and Diana to the ground as a pair of clay like hands soared over and crashed into the house behind them. The Golem Megid growled as his clay hands flew back other and attached to his head.

Golem: Foolish children....your fate is sealed at my hand!

He fired the hands from his head, one to punch y/n far and for then to come back wrapping themselves around Diana's torso and pinning her to the ground.

Y/n: Diana!

Y/n rushed towards as he tried to pull the hands off her, but to no avail.

Y/n: I'll get you out of here, I promise!

Diana: *tries to break free* Ju-just forget about me, go save yourself!

Y/n: The hell i will!

Golem: You would be wise as to listen to the female, but it matters not, as all who are trapped within the barrier will become part of the book!

The Golem cried out as he charged towards Y/n, swinging his big fist at him. The young adult ducked under the attack and pushed the monster back.

Y/n: Become part of a book? I don't know what that really means, but I do know that books shouldn't be used to hurt people.

He reached into his shoulder bag and pulled out the same belt from earlier.

Y/n: I also know that I'll do whatever it take to get Diana....and everyone else out of here, it's a promise! *slams belt on his waistline*

[SEIKEN SWORDRIVER!]

A belt wrapped around his waist automatically as the Megid look in utter surpise..

Golem: That sword..Regardless of whatever your actions are, we will still achieve victory!

Y/n: You're wrong! I-no. We will be the ones who will decide the ending of your story!

Diana: Y/n..

He opens the book with his right hand only..

[BRAVE DRAGON!]
[There was once a God Beast possessing a great power that would destroy everything..]

Still holding the Brave Dragon Wonder Ride Book in his hand, which had seemed to close itself, as he noticed the inscriptions on the front cover of the Book he had not previously noticed, inserting it into the right slot (from his point of view), of the Driver.

The belt let out a harmonic tune as the Book would glow, the hologram of a book flipping its pages forming from the inserted book, as rock formations would form beneath him, sending him upwards, higher than the Golem Megid, as Diana and Naofumi could only look on in confusion and awe.

It was a similar reaction for the townspeople too, as rows upon rows of bookshelves would form around Y/n's position, the land around him catching fire.

Naofumi and Diana warned everyone to step back, the civilians moving backwards just enough for them to avoid the ring of fire surrounding Y/n.

A giant manifestation of the Brave Dragon Wonder Ride Book would then manifest, crashing on the platform behind Kuen, a burst and wave of flames erupting from the crash.

Y/n would grip on the hilt of his sword that was still in his Driver, as he would then pulled it out of the Driver, the red book opening, revealing the face of a mysterious figure clad in black and red, with an orange and yellow visor of flame.

[REKKA BATTOU!]

As Y/n twirled the sword around him almost by instinct, he held his blade with both of his hands, screaming out the first words:

Y/n: Henshin!

Y/n slashed his sword into an X shape as the surrounding fire collected onto his body.

[BRAVE DRAGO~~~N!]

The X shape flew forward, slamming into the Golem before flying straight into Riley's face, solidifying the rest of the fire as it all formed into a kind of armour for him. It consisted of a black and white body suit with white torso and leg armour, his left arm was black with a long red stripe, his right arm was completely red and decorated with a dragon head on his shoulder. His helmet was split red, white and black just like the rest of the armour, with a sword blade in the middle, and the front of the mask decorated with that same X shape with yellow eyes.

REKKA ISSATSU! YUKI NO RYUU TO KAENKEN REKKA GA MAJIWARU TOKI, SHINKU NO TSURUGI GA AKU WO TSURANUKU!

Y/n stood there, flames licking the sides of his armour and sword in hand as he stared down the Megid.

"Impossible, a swordsman?!" It growled. 

Diana: "Y/n...?

The mage look star struck at tin front of her, Naofuni with his jaw wide open and others who were hiding from the attack looked out from their covers, some in awe and other in confusion at what they hoped might be the one to save.

Golem: Saber...

The monster growled before picking up a large rock and throwing it directly at the knight. Saber neither moved nor flinched, but instead raised his sword and cut clean through the rock, running over and slashing it across the chest, showering sparks off the monster. The Golem let out a roar, with pages flying out of his body and forming into black and white monsters dressed in rags and holding short swords.

[Fight!]

"These must be the Shimi then. Alright, En Garde!" Saber shouted, charging at them

The Shimi groaned and rushed at Saber, the Rider rushing towards also, countering their attacks with his own blade, each impact casting off small fires. Saber made short work of plenty of the foot soldiers, he did a full circular slash that knocked back the remaining Shimi. Saber faced the foot soldiers and tapped the open page on his Ride Book.

[BRAVE DRAGON!]

He passed his sword to his other hand as Saber's entire right arm was engulphed in flame. He gripped his hand into a fist and reared his arm back. A roar was also heard in the sky as a mechanical red dragon flew around and stopped behind Saber.

"Dragon Wonder!" Saber yelled and threw his first forward, sending out a large flaming burst empowered by the Dragon's own flames that destroyed the last of the henchmen, the Dragon then flew away waiting for its master's command. "Come on rock face, now it's just you and me!"

The Golem Megid roared and charged at Saber, swinging his massive fist. The rider once again ducked under and dragged his blade across the Megid's stomach, quickly spinning around and slashing his back also. He didn't stop, continuing to slash and stab and just attack the monster.

"By the blade of the Kaenken Rekka, I will reduce you to ashes!" Saber Spoke.

He kicked the Golem away one last time and inserted his sword back into the Driver and pressed down on the trigger, unsheathing it once more.

[Hissatsu Dokuha! Dragon~ Issatsu Geki! Fire!]

Saber slowly moved the Rekka around, collecting masses of fire around it as he got into a stance. The mechanical red dragon flew around and stopped beside Saber once more, roaring at the Megid.

Saber: Flame Cross Slash!

The dragon roared again and breathed some of its fire onto Saber, prompting the Rider to charge at the Golem with the dragon flying after him. When he got close, Saber delivered a strong slash right through the Golem's torso. Tightening the grip on his sword, he spun around and slashed him again, launching him into the air as the Megid bounced off the dragon, who began to circle the two. Saber then leapt into the air, and drove his sword downwards through the Golem, crashing both into the ground and causing a huge explosion.

[End of Fight]
The white rectangle surrounding the area started to disappear as everything was back to normal. Diana, Naofumi, Erhardt and the townspeople got out from their hiding as they see flames from the explosion begining  to clear away to show Saber was still intact, his sword imbedded into the ground as he sat there on one knee. He ripped his sword out, raising it high before lowering it down as the last of the fire cleared.

He sheathed the Rekka back into his Driver, closing the Ride Book, and removing it, causing his armour to disappear. 

Naofumi: Okay.. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK WAS THAT?!?

Y/n: That my friend.. was the power of   Kamen Rider.

The civilians rushed towards Y/n with some hugging him in gratefulness for saving them. Erhardt looked towards Y/n as he surrounded by the happy civilians.

Erhardt: It looks like the king will have his hand full with that one.

[At the Kingdom]
News spread around the Kingdom of Y/n using the power of Saber against the Megid. Many were amazed of the Masked Hero's sheer power as The three Cardinal Heroes, the King and the Bitch(we should all know who it is) witnessed Y/n's transformation into Saber and battling the Megid.

Ren: Y/n sure does have surprises up.

Itsuki: With that much power, Y/n could actually handle the Waves himself.

Motoyasu: That guy should've stayed with us. Why did he choose to stay with the rapist?

Aultcray: *to his Knights* Rememver that Sir Y/n is siding with the Shield Hero. Do not engage unless he attacks first.

Knights: Sir!

Aultcray: Set forth!

The Knights began to walk out of the throne room as Malty stood by after watching Y/n's fight against the Golem Megid and began to smirk.

Malty: *thinking* I wonder if he'll be willing to lend me that power..

[The Three Heroes Church]
Fiona and the other nun witnessed Y/n's new rise as Kamen Rider Saber. She smiled at Y/n's strength and dedication to project others.

Fiona: I hope that I'll get to see Y/n again.

[in Wonder World]
Tassel smiled at this outcome after reading about Y/n using the powers of Kamen Rider Saber for the first time. She turned to the next page, which is revealed to be blank,  indicating that the next adventure has not be written yet.

Tassel: Aww..I guess we have to wait another time. *closes the book and looks at the readers* And that's all that we will be showing you all today. And with my assistant and best buddy, MiraculousKamen..

MiraculousKamen: *appears from a puff of smoke* Tassel, first off: I'm not your assistant. Second, don't forget who truly made this book come to life.

Tassel: *playfully sticks tongue out*

MiraculousKamen: *sighs; looking towards the Readers* I hope you lot enjoyed this chapter. We'll see you all in the next one. But until then..

Tassel and MK: Au revoir ~

The scene shifts far out and more until the background is shown to be a book with a page showing Tassel and the Author waving goodbye before the book closes by itself.
