Snow fell down into the forest below, showing signs of leaf-bare reaching the Clans.

A black she cat padded through the forest with her apprentice, who was a tortoiseshell she cat with bright green eyes.

The black she cat went on about how to hunt in leaf-bare weather, and teaching the smaller cat how to fish as they finally got to the pond, which was full of fish.

"Wow! Does this happen every leaf-bare, Mothsight?" The little apprentice asked, her eyes up full of wonder as she stared at the swimming fish below her paws.

"Yes, Poppypaw. Now, when your fishing, make sure to not let your shadow reach the water or the fish will see and swim away." Mothsighht purred, before quickly dabbing her paw into the pond, her claws unsheathed, and pulled out a small fish, and quickly killed it with a swift bite.

"To be honest, the hunting in leaf-bare is almost as good as in green leaf" Mothsight murmured.

Poppypaw tried to copy her, but flung out a bit of moss instead. She spat with disgust.

"Don't worry, you'll get it one day," Mothsight  purred to her apprentice.

Poppypaw nodded hopefully.
