Pietro and Madison collapsed onto the bed panting.

Pietro rarely ever used his powers in bed but when he did, it made it twice as good. "Good morning", Pietro said, a smirk on his face.

"Good morning indeed, Roadrunner."

"Do we have anything to do today?"

"Don't think so. At least Shuri and T'Challa didn't mention anything."

Pietro traced Madison's spine with his finger. "Good, because I want to spend all day in bed with you."

Madison smiled and kissed him.

The past two years had been utter bliss with Pietro. Madison had hung up her bow and arrows in favor of domestic duties. She wasn't Pietro's little housewife by any means, but she enjoyed cooking and taking care of him. Wakanda was beautiful and they never had to worry about anything, except the whole thing with T'Challa's cousin. Their aid in the battle had earned them the title of honorary Wakandans. Madison was even offered a spot in the guard by Okoye.

"I need sleep before round two."

Pietro kissed Madison's forehead and said, "Sleep Kolibri".

Madison closed her eyes and found herself on a destroyed spaceship.

There was a large purple alien with a golden gauntlet standing between Loki and Thor.

Thor, who now had short hair, was encased in metal.

"Almighty Thanos. I, Loki, prince of Asgard, Odinson, the rightful king of Jotunheim, god of mischief..."

Madison watched as dagger materialized in Loki's hand.

"...do hereby pledge to you my undying fidelity." Loki thrust his dagger upward, only to be stopped by Thanos. Loki's eyes met hers.

I'm so sorry, my Phoenix.

"Undying?" Thanos grabbed Loki's wrist. "You should choose your words more carefully."

Loki's dagger dropped to the ground as Thanos picked Loki up by his neck.

Madison tried to rush forward to help him, but found she couldn't move.

Thanos' grip tightened around Loki's neck and there was nothing anyone could do.

"You...will never be...a God," Loki gasped.

There was a sickening crack and Loki went limp.

"No!" Madison screamed.

Thanos threw Loki's body to the ground in front of Thor.

Madison ran over to him. "No. No Loki. Wake up. Please wake up", she begged. Tears filled her eyes as she mourned the loss of her mentor. Loki's cloaking spell had worn off and Thor could now see her.

His eyes were wide.

The ship started to explode with purple fire.

Madison woke up screaming and crying.

"Kolibri, what's wrong?" he asked her.

"He's gone. Loki's gone", she cried.

Pietro wrapped his arms around her. "Shhh, shhh, moi Kolibri."

"Thanos killed him."

Madison shot out of bed and started getting ready.

"Kolibri, what are you doing?" Pietro asked her.

"I can't just sit around here. I need to do something." She slipped on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt.

Pietro sped up to her and grabbed her by the arms. "Just...calm down for a minute. Maybe it was just a dream."

Madison's eyes went wide. "Oh my god, you don't believe me, do you?"

"If something was wrong, we would have heard something from Natasha or Captain Rogers. Just, come back to bed."

"You don't believe me. It was real! Just like when you and I first started seeing each other. I was there! I watched Loki die."

"Come back to bed until we hear something. Please, Madison."

There was a knock on their hut wall.

Madison got up and pulled the cover back, finding Bucky standing there. He was wearing battle gear and had a brand-new arm.

"No", she breathed. Him being here could only mean one thing.

Pietro came up behind her and kissed her temple.

"T'Challa and Shuri are waiting for you", Bucky said, "Along with a friend". He left them to get ready.

As Madison grabbed her bow and arrows, she turned to Pietro. "I told you something was coming."

Pietro sighed. "I'm sorry I didn't believe you, Kolibri." He took Madison's face in his hands and softly kissed her.
