Released

The Selected were gathered in the back of the ballroom. There was a camera set up and pointed at King Tobias.

There were several people around as part of the camera crew. "And...go," one said quietly.

King Tobias took in a breath. "Prince Gabriel has been returned home." He paused. "He is well and resting."

"The second announcement today is that my son, Crown Prince Eric, will no longer be selecting. He will marry Lady Kya Foxx in two weeks. The remaining Selected for Prince Eric will returning home within the next two days."

He glanced toward the Selected. "Princess Kelly will be returned home in time for the wedding, as she is expected to be a bridesmaid for the event." He glanced toward the two remaining selected going for Kelly. "It is up to her whether or not she will continue with the Selection when she comes home." He looked back at the camera. "That will be all. Thank you for listening."

They stopped recording, and turned off the cameras as King Tobias stepped toward the Selected to address them directly. "We appreciate your patience and support throughout all this." He looked toward the Selected left for Gabriel. "Please let Prince Gabriel rest. If he wishes to speak with you, he will come to you. Thank you. You are dismissed." He nodded to everyone and turned, leaving the room.
