Nashi POV

I wake to the sound of my alarm. Almost time to leave to go to the guild. I have training with Wendy today, she is helping me brush up on some of my dragon slayer skills. In just a few years I've become one of the stronger mages in the guild ranked just under Erza and my father. I'm 13 now so that is a big achievement.

I still live with Mira. She has been like a mother to me and she has always been there. I constantly ask her about my mother and what father used to be like but I know she hasn't told me the whole story. I guess she only tells me what I need to know. I only know that my mother was named Lucy and she was a very happy and joy filled person while my father used to be very cheeky and fun to be around. I often wonder what has happened. Mira only tells me what I ask of. I going to ask Mira to explain everything to me today. Lisanna is running the bar today and my training isn't till later so Mira shouldn't mind telling me.

I get dressed and head into the kitchen. I see Mira making breakfast, eggs and bacon today. I start to feel anxious what if what she tells me nothing I want to hear. I know its a chance I'm going to have to take eventually but do I want to take this chance today?

"Morning Mira" I say walking up to her and hugging her.

"Morning Nashi" She says hugging me back and then continuing with making breakfast. I sit on a stool next to the countertop. I need to ask now or Ill never do it.

"Mira" I say and she looks at me in acknowledgment. "You have always answered the questions I've asked without going into too much detail or going of topic when it comes to my mum and dad. I wanted to ask if you could tell me what happened....in detail" Mira continues to cook but her body has stiffed. She was caught off guard by the question but she wasn't going to show it. Her face has saddened and her hands shake. I thought I wasn't ready to hear the answer but she wasn't ready to give it after all these years, I don't blame her.

"If you don't want to tell me right now then you don't have too" I say.

"N-no you deserve to know" she says to me in her sweet voice. She serves me my breakfast and she sits beside me.

"Well where to start, your mother was part of the very rich Heartfilia family. Her mother died when she was only young and after that her father neglected her. Natsu, your father, was brought up by a dragon as you know. They meet in a small town. Natsu looking for the Salamander and Lucy was looking for some celestial keys. Lucy was kidnapped by the fake salamander and Natsu and Happy saved her." I have to cut Mira off before she continues.

"So your telling me not only was my Father the reason why mum joined Fairy Tail but Happy used to hang out with dad" Happy now hangs out with and goes on quests with Wendy, Romeo and Carla. He stays away from Natsu as much as possible.

"Yes that is all true. When Lucy joined the guild the three of them became inseparable. They ended up joining with Gray and Erza on some occasions to create Fairy Tail's strongest team. Natsu, Lucy and Happy would always stayed as a team and go on missions usually with only them and no one else. From the start I could tell your mum and dad were going to be together, they just clicked." She smiled cheekily at me. I always knew Mira was a match maker so I guess my mum and dad were a pair that Mira tried to get together.

"They were always happy around each other and were blushing every time something was said about them being a couple. Plus they had a bond that not even best friends could have but they never wanted to admit their feelings. Then one day they went on a mission and they were missing for about a week. When they came back Natsu had just gotten out of a hospital for using too much power but also they came back a couple. After them being even more inseparable, Lucy came into the guild one day with a bad illness. Wendy did tests on her and she was pregnant." I watch Mira's expression go from happiness to misery. I know what's coming.

"At first we were all excited about it and full of joy. Then the next day, after talking to Master, we found out that she wouldn't be able to make it through labour and that's when the guild changed. We didn't tell your parents about this till after Lucy gave birth to you. Wendy was able to make it so that Lucy would have ten minutes to say goodbye before dieing. When she finally passed Natsu couldn't take it and blamed it all on you. It wasn't your fault trust me, it all just happened at the wrong time." I see Mira holding back the tears but so am I. It was all my fault even if Mira says it isn't, it is. My father has hated me for all these years and I haven't known exactly why until now.

I have to set things right or at least try. With tears running down my face, I get up from my sit and unfinished breakfast and run out the front door. "Nashi wait" I hear Mira call after me but I don't stop and go back. I continue running with tears streaming down my face.

I run into the guild and freeze for a little. Dad is sitting at the very back table staring off into the distance. I have to talk to him before he goes on his next mission. I run to him and hug he. He is clearly caught off guard and completely freaked. His arms go straight up and he has a shocked look on his face.

"What do you want?" He says sternly. I hug his warm body even tighter. His voice has a hint of sympathy in it, he is trying so hard to stay mad but I can tell he is trying real hard.

Crying hard I say " I'm sorry daddy. I didn't mean to bring sadness to your life. I'm sorry I ruined the Fairy Tail guild. I promise I didn't mean to. Ill make it up to you I promise. Daddy, please love me. Daddy, I'm sorry about Mummy.Daddy, Please don't leave me. I'm really sorry daddy. Please just love me." Dad says nothing he just stares down at me with a shocked look still on his face.

His facial expression slowly goes to sorrow and then goes angry. "Get the hell away from me"
