Hello everyone! So, if you've read the bio on my profile page, you will know that I am a musician. I play piano and I have been playing for about 2 years now. I didn't like taking piano when I was little, but now that I've matured a bit more, I have a passion for it and find it a privilege to play pieces by such great and amazing composers like Mozart, Beethoven, and Bach.

So, after 2 whole years, I have decided to try a piano recital! I have been practicing and perfecting my piece for months and months..and the day has finally come.

I will play in front of an audience for the first time ever in about 3 hours.

I am nervous as heck xD

I'm nervous because...

1) This is my first ever recital, I don't know what to do, and I don't know how it will go! 

2) My piano teacher REALLY wanted me to play. She even gave me a later due date to turn in my recital form slip. Granted, I already knew the song inside and out, but still! I don't want to disappoint her.

3) The audience are people I know and don't know. There may be some people I know coming and I want them to think I'm good at piano and not like a 2 year old that just smacks down the keys and doesn't even make music. I also want to make a good impression on the people that don't know me. 

4) I just get nervous over everything and this is such a big deal to me.

So now that I've listed the reasons..I want your help! Have you ever done a recital for piano? If so, what did you do to prepare for it, how did you cope with nerves, and how did it go?
