I'm Back!
I'm not dead! XD
Hello everyone, I hope you've had a wonderful week. I know I have, because I recently went to the land of moose, maple syrup, and where my characters Jack and Celia from Imaginary Friend are from - Canada! I visited there on a cruise, which was absolutley amazing! The workers were all so nice, the food was great (especially the chocolate chip muffin that I want to eat right now) and it was so pretty being on the water, except of course when I was seasick. I have motion sickness with everything - cars, planes, trains, and boats. But a dose of dramamine, and I was good to go! On this ship, you stopped in a couple of places - Maine, and then you visited some places in Canada, like Sydney, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Charlottestown, Quebec, and Montreal. I want to tell you what I saw in these places, so let's start with Maine!
I visited Bar Harbor Maine, which is known for it's lobster-flavored ice cream (which my dad tried and said it tasted like cold lobster) its harbor seals, and the moose! It was so pretty there and there was so much to see and do. There was so much history in the town, including sad history like the fire that Maine had long ago that burnt a lot of the town. There were so many cute shops, including my new favorite called Cool as a Moose which sold a lot of moose plushes and moose apparel, and their ice cream was soooo good! It's also home to a wildlife national park called Acadia something (I forgot XD) I saw a female moose!
But, back in Canada, specifically in Sydney (I'm actually not sure of this was in Sydney), I tasted some of the best ice cream ever made in the entire world. I'm not even joking. I tried the flavor "Oxford blueberries and cream" which is my new favorite flavor. It was SOOO GOOD! I also saw the largest violin in the world in Sydney, which was exciting for a musician, and went into a bunch of Anne of Green Gables shops in Charlottestown. I even found a bookstore that sold Ouran Highschool Host Club manga for only $5.00! I got volume 12 :3
Then, I visited the french part of Canada where I had to say "Bonjour", "Merci" and "Au revoir" a lot. It was so pretty in Quebec, and it literally looked so much like France! It had cobblestone streets, European-looking houses and shops, and restaurants as far as the eye could see. However, it was really hot, so it was sort of uncomfortable. Then, winds started blowing so strong they almost knocked me over! It was weird, but fun! Then, I left the ship in Montreal, flew back home, and I'm having some serious vacation withdrawal. I want to go back sooo bad! I miss the towel animals that were on the bed every night. I think I got an elephant, a dog, a lobster, a turkey, and a monkey!
Oh, it was so fun, and it gave me new ideas for my characters, including a NEW BOOK! However, I didn't have Internet connection since I was overseas, I couldn't keep in touch with you guys. But since I'm back, I can! I had over 50 notifications when I got home. Thanks, you guys! :D
Alright, thanks so much for reading. Stay kawaii and bye for now!
