My one shot Warriors was a metaphor. 

Ever since Cassandra died, Haru has been beating herself up for it.

She was no longer herself, in a way she was dead, and the only one who loved her, Eren, had to deal with this 'death'

So yeah, it was a metaphor for her depression ever since Cassandra died.
