-PastelFox- sorry I'm not sorry
Alternate AU in which he's in the same grade and in the same school.
Jamie was walking down the street, trying to get to her school. A couple people passed her, including that one bully that hated her, but she didn't mind. She was only looking for her friends..and a certain other person. She finally reached the big doors of the school and went to go put her things in her locker when she saw a familiar face smiling right at her. "Hi Jamie!" He smiled, waving a bit. Jamie blushed and waved back, walking up to him. "Hey! What's up?" She asked, casually. He shrugged. "Nothing much, just off to my first class, ELA, you?" Jamie's eyes widened a little as she smiled back at him. "Yeah, same class! Cool!" She said, trying to hide her excitement. He smiled, his eyes sparkling. Gosh, why do his eyes always have to sparkle like that? She wondered. She sighed and cleared the thought off of her mind. Just as she was about to open her mouth, the bell rang, signaling class. He smiled and started to walk away. "I'll see you in class, Jamie!" Jamie waved and smiled, turning around and looking down at the floor. She always hated that bell.
-- Timeskip to lunch --
Jamie was eating at a lunch table with all of her friends, everyone being rowdy and singing and even dancing. She chuckled to herself as she bit into her sand which. Suddenly, she felt a tap on her shoulder. She put down her food and turned around, facing the person. "Can I help yo- Oh, hi!" She smiled, realizing who it was. He looked down at her and waved. "Hey Jamie! Listen...can I talk to you, for a second?" He asked. Jamie stood up, nodding. "Sure." He led her down to the corner of the cafeteria. "What is it?" Jamie asked, curiously. He looked around and then looked at her. "Look...I like you.." He blushed, looking down at his shoes. Jamie felt herself blushing. She smiled. "I guess I like you too.." She smiled, looking into his eyes. He looked up, smiling widely. "Really?" He said, his eyes full of hope.
Jamie looked back at him and nodded quickly. "Yep!" She said, firmly. He jumped and hugged her tightly, grinning from ear to ear. "This is the happiest day of my life!" He said, letting go of the hug. Jamie let go too, smiling as bright as the sun. "Mine too!" She cried, happily. He looked at her one more time before grabbing his backpack. "I'll text you after school, maybe we can hang out later today. Bye Jamie!" He ran off happily, skipping a bit. Jamie giggled and waved to him. "Bye!" She turned around and pumped her fist in the air. "WOOHOO!" She cried. People stared at her, but she didn't mind. Truly, it was the happiest day of her life.
