So... For Jamie's birthday, I was going to give her a JustMie one-shot.. But obviously things totally went wrong.  So instead, I am letting everyone see what shall come to honor her.  So here is the rough draft version of the book series that will finally have Jamie with Justin.

Dear reader,

Have you ever read those one books that have a beginning telling you over and over again how this story is true, but you never believe it because it's just a book?  I have.  They're actually really fun to read, and I always get this silly, giddy feeling because part of me can't help but wonder if it's true.  Most people would assume not, but it is impossible for me to dismiss things so easily.

Why, you ask?

Well, that's because I am doing the same thing right now. 

My entire life I have known about this secret world filled with mythical people most call monsters.  There's the Ascended and the Fallen, those guys way at the top of their society.  And then as you get lower and lower, you find creatures like the vampires, werewolves, witches, ogres, and all those things. 

But obviously you won't believe me when I'm telling you this even though it's true.

You won't believe me when I tell you about my family acting to help keep the balance between their world and our own.

You won't believe me when I tell you about him either.  The one who changed my life from an ordinary fangirl writing my own little stories, dreaming of a society I had never even seen to the person who helped save it during a time it was shattering.

So I guess that's the saddest thing about this.  You won't believe in Justin Cain, one of the greatest people I have ever met.  Maybe that is for the best, though, because none of you will think about stealing him.

Now here I am, jumping to the end of the story.  I need to stop getting ahead of myself, don't I?  I am sure you all are curious what's going on, and want me to stop rambling so I can get to the point.  You probably want the fantastic tale of monsters.  And trust me, we will get to that.

But hey - like I said, I was once a fangirl.  So I just had to have a little fun.  How could I resist the temptation when it was such an amazing chance?

Welcome to my story.  Hold on to your seats, because it's going to be a whirlwind.
