After the intense moment with his so-called rival, the frostfire male made his way towards to waiting room for the final battle, during the silence, Shoto ponders the conflicting thoughts of his previous battle with Izumi, past wounds echo in his head mixed with his father's demands and his mother's cries, the fear, and hatred of using his fire side lingers. But Izumi's voice of encouragement broke his trance, he slowly realized that she was not just some girl, "She too had wounds that are far more painful than drive deeper and scars that tell terrifying tales... But the way her eyes soften with kindness around the calm but hardens with ferocity when attacked, the way her body moves was like she was dancing, and her skills in the battle were like she rehearsed it." He thought.

A true prima ballerina dances as someone pulls on her puppet strings and the battlefield is her stage as she glides over countless bodies... Suddenly he saw her face... That same face that kept telling him that his powers were his and his alone as the puppet strings slowly pulled her away.

-BAM!!!-

Shoto's thoughts were suddenly interrupted when a certain brass blonde abruptly kicked the door open, he suddenly faced to face with none other than Katsuki Bakugou, "Just the asshole I'm looking for." He growled as he slowly approached the heterochromia male, "You're in the wrong room." Shoto said nonchalantly. "Oh I know that, but I'm here to give you some advice." Katsuki snarled.

The blonde intimidate the other by slightly blasting the table along with a warning, "Listen hear Icyhot, you better your fucking best at the final battle, if you don't, that just proves how fucking weak you are." He growled, "Midoriya said the same-'' Shoto was suddenly interrupted when Katsuki grabbed the front of his shirt.

"And another thing, stay away from Izumi!." He said as his glare intensified, "Midoriya was a fool to help me, she could have easily won the battle if she kept her mouth shut." Shoto spat back, "You fucker! Izumi's ten times the hero you'll ever be! you don't know what she has to go through, she does everything she can to surpass any limits, you only use half of your shitty power, what good will that do in the fucking future?!. She will be a hero!." Katsuki roared but came to a sudden realization...

The words that fell from his mouth felt strange, visions of young Izumi's face stained with tears flashed before his eyes, instead of seeing Todoroki in front of him, he saw he was holding Izumi by the collar of her shirt as she cried her eyes out, "Kacchan stop!!!, it hurts!!!." She wails, "WELL GET IT IN YOUR HEAD YOU DEKU, YOU'LL NEVER BE A HERO!!!."

He suddenly felt weak, he knew he had no right to say those words as he was the cause of his childhood friend's pain and misery, he slowly came to his senses and saw Todoroki giving a confused glance but remained silent.

"Tsk, just do your fucking best, cause I won't go easy on you," Katsuki growled and left the room while Todoroki stood there in the now calm quiet room.

As soon as Katsuki made his way to the arena, "Young Bakugu, wait up!." A boisterous voice called out, the ash-blond looked behind him and saw none other than All Might as he approached him, "What do you want you old man." Katskui said, "Haha, young man there is something I would like to discuss with you..."

Later

"Alright the combatants are set and we run the data through all possibilities..." Aizawa announced, "It's time for the FINAL BATTLE!!!." Present Mic cheered at the same time cranking the energy of the crowd to the max.

As soon as the combatants were on the battle ring they wasted no time and attacked.

Shoto slammed his hand to the ground sending a wave of ice towards his opponent, Katsuki fought back with rapid exploding punches to evade the cold attacks. Soon a wall of ice formed between the combatants at the same time trapping Katsuki inside.

On Todoroki's side, he watched and waited in anticipation at the ice wall in front of him. In seconds explosions and cracking was seen on the ice surface, the blonde endures the ice blast by tunneling through it using his explosions, the blast soon grew louder and Katsuki was freed, "Is that all you got?!''. He taunted and took off like a rocket towards the frostfire male.

Shoto was ready to attack but the blonde did a 180 trick and grabbed his head and shoulder to throw him out of bounds, Todoroki however created another wave of ice and surfs away to avoid crossing over the battle ring.

Katsuki sends another incoming attack, Shoto reaches towards him with his left hand, the audience, his father, and classmates thought he would ignite his fire side however he grabbed his opponent's forearm to avoid the evading blast and tossed the blonde away instead, "What!?, am I not strong enough for you to use it?!." He said with a furious glare.

Shoto sees the exploding blond is showing his aptitude for the battle, but he can't find the spark to reach the top... Like the world slowly got dull. Seeing Aggravated, Katsuki kept attacking the frostfire male to use his power, he taunted, threatened, and mocked him just to get a reaction. Luckily Shoto was calm throughout the ordeal... Maybe too calm.

Katsuki wanted to prove he was the best in the festival and that he wasn't a shadow but a force to be reckoned with, his attacks were brutal just to force the firepower in Todoroki and kept screaming how weak he is.

Shoto thinks over his opponent's words, he actually felt like he was powerless as he was told. "Todoroki!!!."

Then suddenly, Shoto looked to his left where his classmates of 1A sat watching them fight with Midoriya standing from her seat, "Don't lose!!!, Do your best!!!." She yelled with an encouraging light from her eyes.

The frostfire male felt the heat of adrenaline course through his veins, A burst of flames ignited that impassion in his core once again, his roaring fire ready to counter-attack Katsuki's next move. Seeing the dual-haired male getting serious, Katsuki began to bring the battle to the next level, he soared across the air and began to rotate until he became a speeding blur of power of a warhead, his special move: Howitzer Impact.

Just as the two superpowers are about to clash, memories of his broken family flashed before his eyes causing him to extinguish his flames and the dull feeling slowly embraced him leaving the heterochromatic male completely open to an incoming explosion.

A blast of wind blew the crowd away, the thundering explosions rained everywhere, the ice wall was destroyed to millions of pieces, and smoke enveloped the battlefield.

Once the smoke from the blast clears, the place was a complete wreck, Katsuki laid on the ground in exhaustion, he was slowly getting up to see his result but to his surprise, Todoroki had fallen out of bounds unconscious from the blast of power.

The blond grows furious as he realizes that Todoroki didn't use his fire and has been blasted outside the ring. Rage and frustration boiled within him, he immediately runs over to the unconscious combatant and picks him up by the collar of his shirt, "What the hell was that you motherfucking asshole!!!, I said to use your damn fire and fight me like a real man!!!. So get up and fight me!!!." He furiously demands as the raging blonde sees his victory as a completely meaningless battle. Bakugou wants to explode the life out of him, suddenly his vision grows hazy, his limbs slowly become heavy as pink gas slowly surrounds his senses.

Lady Midnight was quick to act as she uses her Quirk to knock out the angered male, once he was unconscious and the air was calm, "TODOROKI IS OUT OF BOUNDS, BAKUGOU IS THE CHAMPION OF U.A.'S FIRST YEAR SPORTS FESTIVAL!!!."She declares making the crowd go wild.

A few Hours Later

This concludes this year's sports festival of U.A. academy, thus the awarding ceremony begins. All of the first years gathered around the battlefield to watch the awarding take place, "Wow, the final battle was underwhelming, by the way, where's Iida?." Ochaco said as she and the greenette looked around for their tall glasses friend.

"Now we will award the medals with a special guest who is none other than our great symbol of peace; All Might!!!." Midnight announced, making the crowd cheer as they saw the signature silhouette of the number one hero, "I AM HERE!!!." He said with his signature smile as the audience chanted All Might's name.

"Now let's give cheers to our champions!!!..." The dominatrix said as Todoroki and Tokoyami were heading to their designated podiums, "Where's Bakugou?." Kirishima asked, class 1A knew he was the champion but they couldn't seem to spot him on the podium until something rose from the spot.

The said champion, chained and muzzled down like a dog was Katsuki Bakugou who was thrashing and growling like an actual beast. Ever since he woke up from his nap, he kept demanding a rematch, he wanted to confront the dual-haired male and fight him with his full power, sadly the teachers had to forcefully restrain him since the blonde refuses to listen to reason.

Class 1A was somewhat happy and worried about Bakugou's situation, "He's a man-eating fiend." Tokoyami comments.

Once silent, Midnight began to announce the winner and runner-ups, "On third place, is Iida Tenya, unfortunately, due to some difficulties, Tokoyami Fukimage will take his place." She mentioned as she handed the bronze medal to All Might to present it towards the raven head male and congratulate him. "Good work out there Fukimage, with more training you'll be saving the world in no time, I can't wait to see the hero inside of you." The great hero said as he embraced the raven head boy, he then continued to the next runner up which was Todoroki.

"Great work out there young Todoroki, I know you will be a great hero, just believe in yourself!." All Might said as he patted his shoulder, the heterochromia didn't understand what he meant but just nodded as a response. He then looked at his classmates who were cheering and congratulating them and saw Midoriya watching them with a proud smile, ever since their battle, he felt like he had to make it up to her and he might have an idea how.

Anyway, as All Might made his way to the first placer which was Bakugou who was still shaking in agitation, the pro hero then carefully unlocked his muzzle seeing how it was too much, "Young man, congratulations on winning first place, please accept this medal." He said with a proud smile as he held the gold medal in front of the angry blond. "All Might... First place like this... IS NOT WORTH EVERYTHING!." Katsuki angrily roared.

"Please accept this medal." All Might said with a forced smile as he tried to calmly place it on the ash-blonde's neck,

"I SAID I DON'T WANT IT!!!." He growled as he kept thrashing his head around to avoid the gold,

"Now, now." All Might reprimanded as he handed him the prize... After a few tries, All Might decided to hang the medal on the angry beast's open jaws making him look stupid or scarier. Izumi looked at Bakugou with confusion, she then looked at All Might who was smiling at her with his thumbs up and proud smile, the greenette smiled back and gave a happy salute. All Might then faced the cheering crowd to close the ceremony, "Alright everyone, let's finish this sports festival with a cheer, everyone please say it with me..."

"Thank you for your hard work!."

"PLUS ULTRA!!!."

......... Awkward.

The crowd booed and complained at All Might's mistake, it was an epic moment only to be underwhelmed with a poor message from the #1 hero whose famous words are "Go Beyond, Plus Ultra".

As the crowd kept going on, Todoroki suddenly stepped away from his podium and made his way towards his classmate, a certain freckled female if you will, suddenly the crowd grew quiet and watched the scene unfold.

Ochaco saw this and gently asked the others to make way for her friend, once the half and half male was face to face with the greenette he felt lost for a second, "Ahem... Uh... Midoriya." He stuttered as a small pink hue stained his flawless complexion, "Todoroki." She casually acknowledged. The crowd was on the edge of their seats, Endeavor looked at his masterpiece sternly, Katsuki was growling like a territorial beast and All Might was skeptical, "Please accept this, you deserve it more than I do." Shoto said as he removed his silver medal and placed it on Izumi's neck which shocked not just the ex-assassin but the entire arena.

All Might chocked on his own blood as he witnesses a boy daringly made a romantic gesture with his daughter in front of him,

Endeavor was furious as he saw his masterpiece interact with the quirkless fifth and set himself ablaze,

Class 1a were blown away by the sudden gesture, the girls squealed in delight, and the boys just hollered crazy sounds,

Katsuki however.... was thrashing and roaring around in pure rage, jeez Bakugou jealous much?.

"But Todoroki, this is one of your greatest achievements, I can't take it." Izumi said as she stared at the silver piece, "Don't worry about it, I saw how you tried to help me during the fight, you could have gotten to the next round and fight Bakugou, but you chose to help me... So I thank you for that. However, I apologize since it's not the first place medal." Todoroki said as the pink hue continue to stain his cheeks and ears.

Izumi didn't know why but her chest started to ache in a strange and... Happy way? it was so alien to her that she was frightened that maybe she was coming down with something and her face felt warm and the girls weren't helping either as they embraced her in a playful yet joyous group hug. They will definitely tease her about this.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THAT'S ONE WAY TO END THIS YEAR'S SPORTS FESTIVAL!!!." Present Mic announced.

Meanwhile

Tenya was fidgeting in the seat of the vehicle as he and his mother made their way to the hospital that was housing the pro hero Ingenuim who was his older brother, both mother and son felt the dread weight on their shoulder after they received a distressed call from his father as he told the rest of his family on Tensei's condition.

As they finally made it to their destination, they stepped out of the car and ran to the front desk, and asked for the room number containing the said patient.

After a trip in the stairs, they found the head of the Iida family staring somberly at the window which showed the unsettling scene of Tensei surrounded by many doctors, blood-drenched tools scattered about, tubes and wires doing little help it can as they carefully operate the patient to save his life. At that moment, the Iida can't do anything but watch and pray that their eldest will soon be out of harm's way.

Mrs. Iida was so devastated that her legs failed her as she cried on her husband who just embraced her in a comforting manner as he too felt helpless. Tenya's body shook as millions of emotions course through his veins that tears slowly cascaded down his strong features.

A few hours later the family was escorted to the waiting area as the operation was taking hours to finish, they were told that Ingenium encountered the villain who calls himself the Hero Killer; Stain, but real news that broke Tenya was that Tensai can no longer hold onto his hero career and that the injury was too fatal even though he was out of the danger zone. That was all Tenya needed to know as he couldn't digest the news all at once.

Now that he knew the culprit's name, he swore to avenge his brother and that villain won't go unpunished...

Sorry, it's been a while since I updated because the wifi has been a huge problem here. Hopefully, this chapter will make do for my absence.

I'm fine-tuning some chapters and I'm stuck with the part where they choose hero names. Please vote or suggest what hero name for Katsuki and Izumi sounds more fitting for them. 

My suggestions for Katsuki are Ground Zero or Dynamight. If you prefer the usual name Deku for Izuku then that's okay for me.

I would like to see your creative ideas.
