The fated duel between All Might's successor and Endeavor's masterpiece has finally arrived, the crowd began to go wild as the combatants made their way towards the battle field. And Izumi was armed to the hilt.

As soon as it begins, Shoto leads with an ice attack with a shift of his right foot as he sends incoming ice pillars, Izumi acting quick brought out a transforming scythe, with a combination of One for All, she gave a mighty swing that sliced the row of ice clean off.

The wind was so strong that he was immediately blown away, the frost fire male creates an ice blockade behind him to keep him from being pushed out of bounds, the combination of wind and cold ice is freezing and strong the audience had to hold onto something to anchor themselves or shield themselves from the nipping breeze.

U.A. Students were amazed with the strength their classmates have, heck Shoji had to hold onto Mineta's leg to prevent him from flying away since he was so small.

Young Todoroki sends another ice attack towards the greenette's way, another swing of her blade and the ice was sliced clean off so that various chunks of ice flew everywhere. She flipped her scythe into a sniper rifle position and began open fire, the heterochromia male quickly created ice walls to protect himself, Izumi's shots were powerful enough that they leave a large hole in the center on the ice barrier, now Shoto had to alternate from offense to defense. The greenette ran towards the field of ice and used her special ice skates and gilded her way through.

This display of power and tactics was overwhelming. The audience saw the radiation of chaos in front of them, the heavy gust of cold wind was sure to cause a bad cold and the arena was heavily coated in ice. This kept going on until Izumi felt her vision blur a bit however she noticed Shoto's right arm was quivering and had frost crawling in certain areas of his limb.

"Todoroki, you're not going to get anywhere with your childish actions." Izumi said, Shoto not wanting to give up continues his onslaught of ice attacks.

"THIS AMOUNT OF POWER IS CRAZY, HOW LONG CAN THEY HOLD ON TO THE BATTLE!?!?!." Present Mic shouted as he watched the competitors continue fighting as none of them are backing down yet.

Shoto's assault continues, Izumi knew they were getting nowhere and decided to change strategy, so she threw a grenade at his way and ducks to take cover.

However, Shoto withstands the explosion and creates a tower of ice to run up and close the distance between them. Izumi uses another swing of her blade to break the ice steps apart, but the male avoids it and nearly freezes the greenette at close range.

Using special sound bombs and a click of a button, the objects released a high pitched cry instantly breaking her icy prison and sending the male flying. Shoto withstands the aftershock of the sound using an ice blockade once again.

"They call you the strongest in our class and why you're under recommendation... How pathetic!." She said and began throwing punches and kicks giving Todoroki little time to fight back.

"You can't fight back because you're afraid of using your fire side, that shows how weak you have become!." She roared and gave the frost fire male a devastating kick sending him a good distance away.

While Shoto was recovering, he noticed Midoriya's eyes were a flaming teal, he was shocked to see she was still standing and that her strikes were quite powerful then the previous ones. "Why do you want me to use my fire so badly?!, I will not give that bastard the satisfaction of succeeding his stupid desire!!!." Todoroki yelled and felt his fathers intense glare at him as he looked down on him at the arena.

"As for you... How long do you intend to fight this battle." He sneered at the female,

"How do you intend to survive from the cold?." She said as she noticed his right side of his body was shaking furiously and the frost was halfway encasing his arm, however Izumi herself began to see zig-zagging lines, numbness, pins, and needles as she was approaching her limit.

"Shut up you quirkless freak!!!."Shoto said, sending an ice attack at her to finally finish the match. "Who said I was done with you?!." She replied back and brought out a Kama and Kunai and ran towards him in a blink of an eye.

All Might was watching the entire fight playout, both Shoto and Izumi are in sync in combat as if they were dancing, but he also noticed his protégé wasn't winning or losing just yet, like she was trying to reason the frost fire male.

"Is that all you got?!." Shoto pants,

"I can do this all day!." She said and threw a bunch of shurikens at him which he blocked with ice.

"Just admit defeat!!!." He yells as his stamina slowly powers down.

"Look at yourself slowly succumb to the cold Shoto, everyone else in our class is giving it their all while you are only using half your power. You can't put me down, a quirkless freak." She provoked the male.

Agitated, Shoto rushed towards Izumi, but his movements were much slower than before. Then he closes in on the greenette, but as soon as he lifts his right foot to attack, Izumi a heavy punch in the torso, sending him flying away. He recovers and tries to use another ice attack, but it's much slower than the previous ones making it easy for the female to avoid it.

They both move into closer quarters once again and fight in spite of their afflictions. Midnight wanted to stop the match as she notices Izumi is starting to fight recklessly by continuing to push her conscious limit that blood started to cascade down her face and her teal flashing eyes are turning blood red. "You think you can deny your true potential?!." She yelled as she tried to ignore the pain.

Blind with rage he dashes at the female, the latter attempts to freeze her. Without second thoughts, Izumi pulls back her numb arm and punches him square on the face to blast Shoto away.

"Look at you, you're becoming a bag of bloody broken bones, how far are you willing to endure this much pain?." He said as he watches her struggling to stand up,

"Whatever it takes to be a hero!." She claims as she headbutts Shoto which catches him off guard, Izumi knew this could potentially kill her, but she was willing to risk it... Or she's just really reckless.

"You can reject your father!,
You can deny the world,
You can hate me,
But you can't waste your full potential!!!.
Use your full strength, stop screwing around
because even if you want to reject your father,
you don't have the right to be the best if you're not prepared to do your best...
THIS IS YOUR POWER!!!... YOURS!!!,
AND ONLY YOU CAN USE IT ON YOUR OWN WAY TO STAY TRUE!!!."
Izumi cried loud and clear.

Upon hearing her words, something sparked in Shoto, the memory of his mother's face evaded his mind, "Remember Shoto, stay true to yourself." Her voice faded into an echo in his mind, He realizes he is not a prisoner of his lineage, and that it's okay to use his power to become who he wants to be.

The adrenaline courses through his veins, ice grew on his right, fire erupted on his left, the familiar heat rushed like power ready to take on the fight.

With that Shoto unleashes his full potential.

The entire arena was astounded with his display of blazing power. All Might realized Izumi had been trying to provoke Shoto to the point in order to save him from rejecting not only half his power but half of himself. "Heh, You're becoming more of a hero everyday Izumi..." Toshinori thought fondly.

With this amount of power, Izumi and Shoto finally clash.

Cementoss and Midnight decide to step in fearing one of them might die, so Cementoss created multiple walls to lessen the damage to the incoming powerful fire blast and wind pressure that destroys the entire fighting ring.

As the flames die down and the ice melts from Shoto's reborn body, he sees the crowd cheering him on, his classmate going crazy, he stands in a wrecked battle field and Midnight declares him the victor. He looked around for his classma- No, Hero.

Ecstatic, Endeavor shouts proudly about Shoto finally using his fire. He walks down closer to the match and claims that Shoto will surpass him and live up to the reason for his birth.

The handsome male saw Izumi was pushed out of bounds and was lying on the ground barely holding on to any consciousness left.

He quickly ran towards the greenette and cradled her delicately being mindful of her injuries, "Why?... why would you go to extreme measures to save me?." He asked the female, "You want to be a hero one day too right?. Your self-repression was holding you down, I know your mother would want to see you become the man you are now with your new amazing... power." She whispered as she finally succumbed to rest with a smile on her face, Shoto couldn't help but smile as well, being careful he carried her bridal style and made his way towards the infirmary.

One of the cameras quickly catches their tender moment which grabbed the arena's attention on the big screen, "AWWW!!!." The crowd cooed.

Meanwhile

With class 1A they finally sighed in relief due to the intensity of the fight, Iida and Ochaco ran to the clinic to check up on Izumi. The class were shocked with the two combatants' screen time and the reactions of the audiences.

"Oh man, looks like you have competition Bakubro!." Kirishima grinned at the grumbling blonde,

"Shut it Asshole!!!." Katsuki roared.
