Okay, so...I said big news was coming, so here it is.

I am no longer employed with a full-time job.

1) I didn't get fired.
2) I wanted this to happen.

That's right. Here's what it means, and here's why it is REALLY BIG NEWS.

Previously, I would write in my spare time after work. This meant I'd squeeze in chapters between responsibilities, socializing, spending time with Conlan, etc...but no longer.

Starting tomorrow, I'm dedicating a bulk of my time to being an author. I'm still working part-time (gotta pay the bills), but writing will now be my main focus.

What it means:

- More frequent updates
- More new books (have you added All Will Fall to your library yet?!)
- More chances to get involved with my books
- More free time to work on getting these books PUBLISHED.

What it doesn't mean:

WAY more updates. Updates will be more regular (2-3 per book, per week), but not too often. There's more to being an author than writing! Please, don't beg for updates - that doesn't work. In fact, it makes me want to not update.

Just because I'm not working a full-time job doesn't mean I'm not working full-time. Don't believe me? Here's just a glimpse of the tasks I need to get done in the next 4 weeks for Chaos Theory (aka, just one of my multiple books):

- Finish re-writing
- Round 1 edits
- Hire a copyeditor
- Cover comps
- Finalize edits
- Finalize cover
- Pitch bloggers + reviewers
- Prep for publication
- Finish interior formatting
- Order galleys
- Send galleys to trades for reviews
- Launch social media strategy

So, as you can see, I have a lot of work to do (plus the work I'm doing part-time), so please be patient. I'm making my dream a reality, which means I'm gonna be working my ass off. Writing on Wattpad is wonderful, but it doesn't pay the bills and it won't make me a best-selling, successful author. (Although it's a great place to start!)
