Dear Future Me,

I hope, if this letter finds you, somehow, you are proud of me.

I believe you're a lot more tougher and stronger than who I am when I write this letter. I know you've continued to learn and grow and kept your motto about it.

As of today, no one knows what holds in the future, that is, your present but, I hope, in whatever you have chosen to do and study about, interests you. Just like what the younger you has always preached about; do something that makes you happy, not to fit in.

Although I do not know about the hardships you had to go through to get to where you are when you read this, the very same hardships I will have to pass in the near future, I'm sure you have learned what life wanted to teach you and become a better person by implementing those newly learned lessons.

I'm sure you have surrounded yourself with the people that love and care and accept you to be whoever you want to be just the way I promise myself to do in the present day.

In the dark future of what the world will come to be, I need you to be focused in what you told your younger self; I need you to help the community and be the light. As an adult, protest for what's right that you couldn't as a child or a teenager. Stand up for yourself and your peers, maybe even for people you don't even know, be it the elderly or the babies that aren't even born yet.

My young and innocent brain looks up to you in awe and wonder. This brain cannot fathom and merrily comprehend what may be possible to your present time and I hope you utilise these new technologies. Be grateful about these times.

Always remember that you could've given anything and everything to be in the place you are today and there is no reason for you to think you can't do something. This is where I picture myself as a grown up and I hope you cherish these days. Take care of yourself and those around you.

Dear phenomenal future,

You are indeed exceptional and different than what we all think off. As you knew...i came from abroad to india to the very first time, on exit for my further education. It was really hard for me to get adjusted in a complete different environment, and many more things. And apart from all that it was hard for my family to stay away from dad who was still working in abroad. Another breakdown point for me was when I had to repeat a class just because my set of subjects that i studied in my 11th grade, didnt match to any of the set of subjects here in any colleges or schools. And i couldn't go back because I found that my passport just expired. And i had to choice but to repeat a class. Another breaking point of my life was...my first breakup. I loved him to the core but he didn't just because we were in a long distance relationship and he wasn't sure for me. I was broken. I felt I guess nothing was left good in life. But my mother consoled me saying "everything happens for a better reason" and since then I started working on myself for better, and thankfully topped in my yearly exams. I am apart of some organisations and very glad giving up my time in these good things. So #ThisIsHowItTookPlace. All I know is you surprise me more than my parents haha. And i think we can get along better if I be a better person right .Thank you for making me a better person every second when we meet. Thank you for giving me such euphoric moments and giving such wonderful lessons of life (lets not call it a bad phase). Thank you for teaching me what true love is all about,teaching me that if things aren't meant to be yours, its meant for something better in life. I hope you have achieved the dreams I've always wanted. You remember when I was small, I had no idea what to do with this life. I tried to end it, but yes failed in doing so. Then I tried to live with what others wanted from me, not even thinking that my life should have it's own purpose. But when I did, I left my city and started living for myself. That's when I realised life is nothing but a struggle. If you want to achieve something you have to fight for it.

The world is cruel and I'm still struggling to fit in it. But I hope you become stronger, self confident person by time, not an idiot I'm right now. Struggling with myself and my career. I hope you are doing just fine. Before i start, i want to ask you a few questions. How's life? Are you married yet? Do you have a boyfriend? And are you now a psychologist? I hope you have move on from the one who broke your heart. Do you still remember him? The one who cheated on you? If you do, forget about him and move on, there's no point on holding onto someone who doesn't want you. Are you still a BTS fan? You used to love them so much that you always talk about them, how handsome thay are, how cute, sexy, hot, cool and many other more. They told you to love yourself. Do you love yourself more? Are you going to church regularly, if not, pray to God and ask for forgiveness. Did your plan succeed? I hope that you are living a life that you always dream of. Living happily with your love ones and kids and oh never compare your kids to one another, its break their hearts and think that they are not enough to make you happy which can lead to depression, at least you can understand how they would feel cause you already gone through that. I know that you must be in a better situation now than I am. Just imagine me on the bed, my brown hair around me in a mess, and my eyes threatening to overflow with tears.

I know daddy died six years ago, but I'm still haunted by the ghost of his laughter. I'm still haunted by mum's screams, "James! James, please don't leave me!" I want to murder the sommelier who served the poisoned wine. I want to know who poisoned the wine and I want to murder them too. I lost a father on Thanksgiving Night, and my mother lost a husband. Atlantia lost a prince and a future king.

I know daddy's death has changed me in a way that nothing else could. My emotions are now at the tipping point. I still have nightmares. I know, future me, that you must have overcome them because you are a kickass woman. "Dear future me,

So; here I am, sitting on my office chair going through the letter sent by Myra. And ya, Myra Kapoor has become one of my good friends to stick on and an inspiration to change the stereotype going in this world.

Basically, some years back I was one of the careless and living in my own bubble type girl. But meeting with Myra changed me to better. Memory of that day is still fresh in my mind when I met her in a college event , held for student motivation.

She was something else not the easy going person (emitting rays of energy). A super girl, being an acid attack victim also couldn't suppress her urge for the betterment of the society. One of her classmates had done this heinous crime but being Myra, (having a heart of gold) she forgave him and in her view got double motivated for the change.

After meeting, both of us decided to open a NGO and both of us are partners in it. It's named as, "SHEROES OF INDIA". We work with many victims and raise funds so that they can get their eyesight back. World's best doctors work with us and recently, most of the girls have got their eyesight back through the surgery.

These SHEROES have altered my definition of beauty which according to them is increase the glitter in your heart (through kindness) and your face will glow automatically.

And also, I have started a campaign for all the girls to adorn their real beauty instead of the artificial ceramic layers. Leave makeup and get yourself up. At last, I would like to spread a message to all the girls through this letter.

"Beauty of your soul stays till the wrinkles of your face." So, I have started adorning my real self and it satisfies me to the core.

Hey girl,

I'm sitting in my bathtub right now, (it's dry, and I'm not naked, don't worry) and it reminds me of that time with my friends Sheetal and Priya, in the changing room, in my school. It was a week ago, but I remember vividly. It's a Perfect Place. We can be ourselves, but our worlds can't collide.

I close my eyes, and I'm back there. Except this time around, it's better, because this time, I can't touch them, if I do, they fade away, they say they want me to reach for them, to understand them, but if I do, I know they're going to pull away, shy away from the freedom of it all.

No, humans can't really be that free, can they? We're scared of everything, everyone.

So, instead of being there in flesh, and being disappointed, that they don't trust me enough to let me in, isn't it better to be there just in my head, to play out that one moment, again and again, where they opened up?

To be there, but never to touch them. To be in a Perfect Place.

I'm a bit of a deep thinker, aren't I? Anyways, what are Perfect Places? I don't know it now, but do you?

I don't know at what point i would be in future,but i hope i reach where i want to be.

You are strong enough to reach there. I know how much it hurts, the pain is unbearable but please don't give up!

I know no one understands, no one listens to what you feel,how you are hurt, how you wanna let it out but you have yourself. At some point you will have someone who will stand for you , listent to your worries and feeling, will make you feel special and loved, will be there for you no matter what. Please be patient and do nothing lose hope

I know you are disappointed in yourself, i know you wanna set free , i know you wanna be happy but you are not. But, things will change. Do your best and keep trying. Be proud of yourself for whatever you have accomplished. One day people will see how you are grown to be a great person.

I want you to know that times were hard sometime back. With all the hospital visits and reports about us not making it to see another year was scary. But we made it.
