          You were confused. I could tell. But at the same time you were excited to see what I had for you. What I was going to do to make you better. It was like watching a little kid go nuts over a new action figure that came out. It was a nice feeling knowing that you were like this because of me.

I let go of your hand and placed my book bag on the ground, grabbing the items I had brought for you out. I handed you the game and the popcorn. You were shocked. It seemed like you were having a difficult time thanking me. That was fine, though. I was happy you were happy. That's all that mattered.

Now it was time to ask you to the movies. So I did.

Eyes wide open. Mouth apart slightly. A pink tint coating your cheeks.
