Everyone was gathered in the middle of the town just as the rooster crowed like the new mayor requested.
"Citizens of Inconceivable, as your new mayor, I have made my first rule. If your name is Raquel you must change it to Rachel" Rupert declares
"Ok. Hello everyone. My name is Rachel one. It is nice to meet you" 'Raquel one' greets
"Nice to meet you Rachel one" Rupert says
"Wait why do we need to change our names" someone asks
"Who are you" Rupert asks
"Raquel two" she says
"Ah yes. You are one of those" he says
"What is wrong with the name Raquel" Raquel two asks
"When I was a little boy there was this girl in my neighborhood and her name was Raquel and I loved her. Ever since I was five years old I dreamed of marrying her. Well not anymore. When we were thirteen I told her that I loved her and she retaliated. I thought all she would do is tell me straight to my face that she doesn't like me, but no. She took it further. She said she didn't like me. Then she slapped me across the face. This girl she took karate so she knew how to beat me up. She broke my nose, my arm, both legs, and left me in a coma for three months. I have avoided Raquels since then until now. And since I can't avoid them, I'm going to make them change their names" he says
"I'm sorry for what happened to you but I'm not changing my name" Raquel two says
"If you agree to change your name to Rachel please come up to the front to sign legal papers. If you are not changing your name just be prepared for something to happen to you." Rupert warns
The crowd starts to depart and some people go up to the front. Some people who arrived later than Rupert, I guess his minions, start to make a list of which Raquels are changing their name:
Raquel 1, Raquel 5, Raquel 6, Raquel 8, Raquel 10, Raquel 12, Raquel 13, Raquel 17, Raquel 18, Raquel 20, Raquel 21, Raquel 23, Raquel 24, Raquel 27, Raquel 28, and Raquel 30 who was born just after the mayor was elected.
"Sir 16 of the 30 changed their names. Ironically, Raquel two's daughter Raquel seventeen agreed to change her name" minion one says
"Very good. Go get the other men and round up all the Raquels that didn't change their name. All of the children have their names changed right? I don't want to have to hurt the children" Rupert says
"Yes sir" the minion says
"Good good. Now go" Rupert demands
The minions head out and Rupert heads to the mayors house, well now his house. He goes inside and to his office trying to decide what to do to the other Raquels.
"Connie hunny can you come here" Rupert calls
"Yes dear" Connie asks walking in
"Have the packages arrived yet" he asks
"The water arrived this morning along with the cutter. The pots arrive tonight" she says
"Excellent. How was your morning" he asks
"It was lovely. Rachel one and I went out for breakfast" she says
"I always liked her. She seems decent. I knew she would change her name. I would've hated to see something happen to her" Rupert says
"Yes. It would have been a shame" Connie says
Rupert goes to say something but there is a knock at his door.
"Come in" he says
"Sir some of the Raquels are putting up a fight" a minion says
"Okay. Where are all of them" Rupert asks
"Most of them are in the club. The others that were putting up a fight were tranquilized just now and are now in the jail cells to keep them contained when they wake up." The minion says
"Alright. Let's go to the club first. Connie I will be back" Rupert calls out
"Ok" Connie yells back
Rupert and the two minions head out and they go to the club. They walk in and the Raquels are sitting and talking amongst each other.
"Alright listen up. I am giving you another chance to change your name to Rachel. If you don't I am putting you in a pot of boiling water" Rupert declares
"I'll change" about five people yell out
Rupert nods and they follow a minion to the Mayors office. Rupert then signals to the other minions and each one picks up a Raquel and carries them outside to where there are dunk tank looking pots powered by solar panels with boiling water in them. The Raquels from the jail are also brought out. As soon as they see the pots they start fighting the minions grip even more. The minions work together and drop the Raquels into the pots one by one. All that can be heard throughout the town is their shrill screaming as the water scorched their skin. After 15 minutes of torcher in the pots they are pulled out and they collapse to the ground. Their bodies are red and blistered.
"Okay. That was a warning. It's your final warning. Change your name or else" Rupert warns
"I'll change" Raquel 29 calls out
"Very good. follow my minion to the office" Rupert says
She follows and Rupert pays attention to the other Raquels.
"Which Raquels are left" he asks
"2, 4, 7, 9, 14, 15, 19, and 25" a minion reports
"Alright. Well since no one wants to change their names, I must get rid of you." Rupert announces
The minions and the remaining Raquels follow him as he heads towards the woods and the rest of the citizens end up following him as well. They get to a very secluded area and standing tall in front of them is a guillotine.
"Um what is that for" Raquel 15 asks
"That is for all of you Raquels" Rupert smiles
"Wow! You got us a gift" Raquel 25 asks
"Sure. Let's go with that" Rupert answers
"Alright sir which one is going first" a minion asks
"Let's see, who wants to try it out first" Rupert asks
Raquel 4 shoots her hand into the air and a minion leads her over to the guillotine. He helps get her arms restrained and her head in the proper location then walks over to the lever.
"What is this bin for" she asks
"Oh you'll see" Rupert smirks
"Ok" she smiles
The minion pulls the level, the blade comes down and the first thing that is heard is a quick, but loud scream from Raquel 4. The next thing that is heard is a loud thud from her head landing in the bin. The screams and cries from her fellow citizens are heard next.
"Alright, who's next" Rupert casually asks
None of the Raquels raise their hands so one by one the minions drag them up to the guillotine until Raquel 2 is the only one left.
"Okay Raquel 2, you have given me the hardest time about this but I am giving you the opportunity once more to change your name to Rachel. Are you going to do it" Rupert asks
The citizens yell for Raquel 2 to change her name but she declines. Rupert leads her up to the guillotine and gets her locked in the restraints. He goes over to the lever and pulls it. Raquel doesn't make a sound. The thud from the head is heard and blood splattering is seen. None of the citizens make a sound either.
"The whole Raquel population here is diminished. My goal is complete. Now minions take the bodies and burn them then bring the heads to town. It's time for arts and crafts." Rupert explains
Rupert walks out of the woods and the citizens follow him angry for what he did. He goes to a pavilion at the town park and sits down and some of the citizens go over to him.
"Why did you do that" one asks
"I asked them to change their names to Rachel. They didn't. I told them if they didn't things would happen to them. Things happened to them" Rupert says
"Yeah but we didn't think it'd be that extreme. All we thought you were going to do was give them a fine or throw them in prison" someone argues
"Yeah well I didn't so deal with it. Now are you joining me for some arts and crafts or no" Rupert asks
They hear something behind them and turn around. They see the minions bring over the cart of heads, some melon ballers, another box with a lid, and some spray paint.
"No. I think we're good" a guy responds
"Suit it yourself. Minions lets get to work" Rupert commands
The citizens leave and the minions take their seats. Rupert and two of the minions grab melon ballers and scoop out the eyes from each head and then pass them off to three more minions who clean up the blood from the eye sockets. There was a lot of blood. This happens with all eight Raquels. Once that is done, the shave the hair off the heads so that they are bald and the tops of their heads are smooth. They start spray painting the heads with multiple colors and patterns so that they look fancy. Once that is completed they find a way to clamp the mouths open so that the heads are still smooth, but so that there is another hole. They also grab some fans and blow them on the heads so that the paint dries faster. Once the paint is dry, they grab some polish and polish them up. They then take them to a display case in the mayors house and put them in there to be used in a few days.
