A few days has past and everything was going well and peaceful for Desmond and Disha, His training has been going well, and Desmond and Bobby have been getting along with each other.

Right now, Desmond was ready to go to school as Lexy was putting on her shoes as Crowe was looking through his phone until he saw his mother walking towards him as she said something.

Jenna: Desmond, I need some change, Do you still have the savings I gave you?

Desmond knew that he had spended the money on the gym membership as Crowe spoke to her.

Desmond: Well, actually, I already spent fifty dollars.

Jenna: Really? What did you spend it on?

Desmond: The thing is, I started a gym membership, and I have been training for mma lately.

Jenna was shocked as Desmond continued speaking to her.

Desmond: I have been trying to save and pay the fees for next month.

Jenna: Seriously? So this is what you've been doing? You really like to throw your fist.

Desmond: Mom, look, Dont get me wrong, but I enjoy MMA, and I wanted to start training for it. I ain't trying to be some street thug. It's just that I love it.

Jenna: I had a feeling you like stuff like that, but don't you realise how important every dollar is us?

Desmond: We will figure it out, Mom. I found a part-time job that has a nice payment. I'm gonna apply for it and help you

Jenna: What? Are you gonna work at a fight club?

Desmond looked at her as Lexy was looking at them.

Desmond: Don't assume like that, Can't you appreciate that I'm trying to help you???

Jenna: And we are doing this all over again, You know what. I don't even care if you get arrested if you get in a fight!

Desmond felt hurt from the inside as He stared at his mother as she said something.

Jenna: You need to cancel that membership!

Desmond: No, I'm not gonna cancel it.

Jenna: I'm not gonna pay for that!

Desmond: Who said you're paying!?

Lexy: Please, can you two just stop already?

Jenna: Don't get involved!

Desmond: Hey, don't raise your voice at her!!

Jenna flinched and moved back as Desmond was trying to control his anger as he took a deep breath and looked at his mother.

Desmond: Can we just stop doing this? I don't care if it's hurting me, It's hurting her mostly.

He pointed at Lexy as Jenna was silent and looked at both of them.

Jenna: You should be more responsible, Desmond.

Lexy: What do you think he's doing? Of course, he's being responsible, but let him do what he likes to do-

Desmond: Lexy, It's okay. . . . We are going to school now.

Jenna was looking at both of them as Desmond stared at her before walking away as Lexy was going to follow him until Jenna said something to her.

Jenna: Lexy, Dont you realise what your brother's doing is completely wrong? Why are you still on his side?

Lexy: Maybe if you can support and love him as you used to instead of pressurising and blaming him.

Jenna was shocked by her response as Lexy was looking at her.

Jenna: And I'm being blamed for this now?

Lexy: Who said we are blaming you? Look, after Dad's death. We needed support, love, and appreciation to keep us going forward, Even Dad wants us to be happy, but with all this constant argument, blames, and anger. We are going down a hole instead.

Despite Lexy being the youngest, She had a valid point on what she said, Those words kept Jenna silent as Lexy said something.

Lexy: Can you at least give some love and appreciation to Desmond? Nobody knows what he's going through and how much it is affected, yet you're still bringing him down. You're supposed to be a mother.

Jenna was silent and didn't know what to respond, She finally realised how much things have changed since her husband's death.

Lexy: But finally, Desmond has been much happier at this new school, He's grew soft and happy, but you're still bringing out his dark side.

Desmond: *While getting on his bike* Come on, Lexy. We are getting late!

Lexy said she was coming as She looked at her mother before leaving as Jenna was thinking about everything Lexy said to her.

Later on, Desmond dropped Lexy to her school and made it back to his school, He couldn't forget about the arguments, and he just wishes that all these problems can end already. He was getting really angry at himself but also tired of everything.

He was looking through social media, trying to distract himself and focus as Desmond continued scrolling until he saw a post from Disha that was posted thirty-five minutes ago.

Disha-Patani001: Ready for school! 💕

That brought a smile to Desmond's face as He continued staring at the picture before liking it. He grew more soft as he continued hanging out with Disha, and whenever he's angry, he was able to control himself.

Sometimes, he wished he could tell her how he truly feels for her, but he feels scared if she didn't have the same feelings as he does.

Desmond heard the bell ringing as it was physics class as Crowe began making his way to the classroom.

About an hour has past and physics was over as the teacher left the class while Desmond was thinking about something as He turned around and saw Disha smiling at him as Desmond stared at her.

He had a smile on his face as Disha continued staring at him while smiling before Desmond wanted to use the bathroom as He got up and left the classroom as Disha was talking to her friends.

Soon, Desmond was washing his hands as He was looking at himself in the mirror, He dried his hands with a tissue until he heard something and turned around to see someone walking in.

Finn: Hey Desmond.

Desmond glared at him as Finn was staring at him.

Finn: How has it been going since we last met?

Desmond knew something was wrong as Finn gave a smile to him.

Desmond: What do you want now, Balor?

Finn: Oh, nothing, I just wanted to apologise.

Desmond: Apology? Do you think I would accept that?

Finn: And you think a champion like me is gonna apologise?

Suddenly, Finn kicked Desmond as Crowe was holding his gut, Finn tried to punch him, but Desmond quickly moved away and charged on Finn towards the stall door.

Desmond did a shoulder thrust as Finn grunted in pain and elbowed his back.

Finn pushed Desmond as He tried to punch and kick him, but Desmond, who trained for this moment, began blocking Finn's strikes before punching him in the face

Finn was holding his face as he was shocked, How did Desmond manage to punch him? Desmond punched him again as Finn got angry and tried to hit him, but Crowe hit an elbow.

Finn was angry before he kicked Desmond to the sink as Desmond was holding his back before Balor took him down.

Desmond was on the ground as Finn placed his foot on Desmond's chest.

Finn: You improved, But you will never beat me.

Desmond: You haven't. . . Seen the rest of me yet.

Finn: Oh, shut your mouth, You think I'll forget about everything you have done to me?

Desmond: And now you showed up huh?

Finn was angry as He said something to Desmond.

Finn: First you took my popularity and then you took my girlfriend away from me. I knew you were problem that day I met you.

Desmond glared at him as Finn continued speaking to him.

Finn: Now I'm not letting you go easily, This school has an underground fight club, and I'm currently ruling it.

Finn had a smirk on his face as Desmond was staring at him as Balor continued speaking.

Finn: And I'm trying to find a worthy opponent. You can be my challenger, Wouldn't that be great?

Desmond glared at Finn as Balor chuckled.

Finn: Control your anger, Control. Let's see if you are really capable of fighting me. But I'll give you a spoiler, which is. . . The real winner is me.

Finn kicked Desmond away as Crowe was holding his chest while glaring at Finn as Balor looked at him and said one last thing.

Finn: I'm gonna break you bad that your father will be crying.

Desmond clutched his fist and felt his blood boil as Finn smiled and walked away as Desmond was thinking about his next move now
