"Conner! Get up!" A faint voice called out. "Conner!"

He jumped up into the morning light, looking away instantly. He moved his feet onto the wood floor, then standing up then walking into his mom's kitchen.

"Hey Conner? Already up?" His mother, Mrs. Randall, asked while making some eggs.

"Yeah, another weekend thing I do" Conner replied, taking a seat. "Where's dad?"

"At another meeting with the business" His mom answered, putting the eggs in front of him.

Conner ate and told his mom that he was going for a walk. Though, he didn't know what was coming. As he walked, two black figures watched him silently in the shadows.

The figures jumped out and knocked him out cold, making him limp on the ground. They took him to an alley, where they slipped through a door to a world that he will never forget...
