"Prerna will you go on a date with me?"

The next few days were extraordinary. We spent days judging restaurants and lonely walk ways. Everything around us was so extraordinary, it's so true when they say 'when you are in love, the world is beautiful'. It was fun. Some weird kind of fun.

It had been a couple of months now that the two of us were regularly meeting, going on walks at least twice a day and cooking together at least once a week. A lot our friends were shocked seeing the amount of dedication we were putting in each other's college assignments, eating habits, and a lot more.

And one fine day Adhi called me randomly at midnight.

"Hello need to talk to you. I don't even know why I called now, I know it's late but hey, I need to talk to you." He said as soon as I picked up the call.

"Is everything okay?" I was scared.

"Yes! Look you are my girlfriend now, right?" He asked.

"Yes. Is that why you called me? At this time?" I wanted to yell at him. But I couldn't.

"No. I was thinking about you for sometime now. I mean about us. And I just realised I proposed you in a very shitty manner. I didn't even take you out on an official date since you said yes. I am such a bad boyfriend." I laughed as he spoke

"No you aren't. You are just so cute to think about all of this at this time. And I love you" I said genuinely.

"I love you too Prerna. But I'm not going to let you tell stories about how bad I was as a boyfriend to our kids."

"Adhi you should sleep. You are indeed thinking a lot. And kids? Wow. I love you okay but hey, that's like a long way to go." I said.

"No chill. Not asking you to marry me right away. Prerna will you go on a date with me?"

"Yes, of course I will."

"Tomorrow at 10. I'll pick you"

We hung up after saying byes.

The next day, I called him at 9:30 and told him I am ready. He said he'll start now and will reach in 10. I thought I'll finish breakfast by then.

I was eating when my sister screamed from her room. I dropped the fork from my hand and ran to see what was wrong.

I am gonna end this book after a couple of more chapters. I'll decide if I'll be writing a sequel or not depending on the responses I receive.
