"I don't think I've felt half as alive ever before"

While we were at the latch, our fingers touched for a few  brief seconds. Eventually our fingers intertwined. We stood there looking at each other. We were gazing so hard at each other like as if we were looking through  each other's soul.

There was too much of silence in the house. So I initiated to break it and communicate. "Adi um.." I started but he placed his index finger on my lips.

"Shhh" said Adi and let go of all the inhibitions and kissed me more profoundly than I could have ever imagined!

I thought I was the luckiest girl alive. My crush! My crush is kissing me.

After 4.7 minutes exacly, we sat each other down. Out of breath, but still holding hands as if declaring we would never let go.

"Will you please get me some water?" Adi asked, smiling.

"Yes sure. I need some too" just as I got up to go to the kitchen I spoke again "I've.. umm.... I haven't ever felt this before"  I told him honestly.

"I don't think I've felt half as alive ever before" Adi said.

We smiled at each other. Life looked real and bearable. The unending smiles indicated the reluctance to let go of each other's hands.

Adhiraj's POV

As she went away towards the kitchen, she left me dazed at how did I manage to look as worthy to this girl as I did. How could any girl trust a stranger so much?.

I was surprised and dizzy about the sudden rush of love she communicated to me only with her presence around me.

And here, was a beautiful girl walking away, for a bottle of water.
