It was a bright sunny morning at 'Akshara College' when the Principal announced that 'St.Thomas College' would be organising their 'Annual International Management Fest'.

We were given various tasks the following days at college and finally the best 8 students from the commerce and management department were selected.

Everyone were from 2nd year.
Everyone had a 'lost' look plastered on their faces as they entered St.Thomas college's auditorium.

***During the inaugural session***

We exchanged glances from across the hall.

It took a few minutes for me to realise who this was.

"Oh no!, No!" I shouted. The rest of the team members looked at me in surprise. My bestfriend looked at me and then to the person I was now staring at.

"What the hell? Is that Adi?" It was Tina's turn to shout in surprise.

"Aww! He's so gorgeous. Sh*t!" I stated in a very dramatic tone.

"Did you just say 'aww'? Like seriously? He doesn't even know who you are Prerna" Tina snaps at me.

"I know he doesn't know me. But he's gorgeous and intellectually hot, and.."I was cut off by Tina

"And so your type and your heart crumbles to see him. You've told this to me atleast 10 times on different occasions".

"Can you just shut up and listen Tina? Stop killing my vibe".

"Do you tell me the same story over and over again to test my memory or you're genuinely so happy to tell me all the details?" Tina joked.

"Second option" I said grinning like an idiot.

"Cool. Go ahead. He saw you in our college's fest the other day and came up to you with a very cute smile on his face which could melt any girls heart. And he asked you some doubt in the case study. And then he passed by and then the hundred different eyebrow muscle movements he made. Next?"

"He is so out of my league" I said holding my bestfriend's hand.

"He is ugly if you ask me" Tina teases.

"Shut up" I slap Tina's hand.

"It's true. He isn't even a percentage of what you are. You're running behind the idea of him because he looks different to you. He's just a mystery and you're trying to unravel. Admit it you idiot. Please will you? Stop acting like you're in love with him" Tina scolds.

"No. I do really like him". I widen my big brown eyes and look in his direction "He's so handsome"

"You're the best manager here. Please control your emotions. We cannot afford for you to lose the title".

"Right I need to focus".

"By the way, this might interest you- he's the event head for best manager".

"No way! Are you serious?"

"Yes" she grins.

Adhiraj begins to walk towards us. Tina and I look at each other.

"I think I'm gonna faint" I tell Tina in a frightful tone.

"Hello. I am the event head for Best Manager. Which one of you are the contestant for BM?" Adiraj asks in a fake accent.

All the 7 members including Tina looks at me. And all I could manage to do is smile at him and nod my head.

"She is" Pooja, the Human Resource contestant points towards me.

"Alright. Will you please follow me? Your event starts in 5 minutes. I'll brief you about the first task". Adiraj tells me.
