Astrid always hit Hiccup. Even when he did something good. He never ceased to not hit him. But everything Hiccup did was to say, "ow!" and then rub his shoulder.

But Astrid didn't expect to see him with purple shoulders one day.

Everything started when she punched him one day.

"Ow! Hey!" He complained with a pained voice and reached up to rub his shoulder that she'd hit. Astrid laughed. Hiccup looked at her with a sad face.

Astrid stopped laughing when she saw his face and looked at him. "Hiccup?"

"Why do you always hit me?"

Astrid looked at her friend with a concerned face and opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out.

Hiccup just walked away, not tuning around to look at her.

Astrid was searching. She was searching for Hiccup who had been gone since this morning. (A/N: It was evening...)

She was concerned. Maybe she'd went to far. I mean, she did punch Hiccup three times in the last two hours.

"I wonder if he's inside his hut...?" Astrid mumbled to herself. Dragon's Edge was quite big so she walked for at least twenty minutes from her house to reach his.

The blonde kept walking and walking and walking and walking before she reached his house. Smiling, she went inside and turned around to close the door behind her quietly.

When she turned around, she was surprised to see Hiccup with his bare back against her. He saw her by looking at the mirror in front of him.

"Hiccup..." Astrid started and walked towards her friend. "I'm sorry for whatever I did earli-" Suddenly, the woman trailed off.

When she saw the huge purple marks on hi shoulder, she gaped. "Did you and Toothless have another fight?" She asked.

Hiccup looked at her before he looked at his shoulders. The man slowly shook his head. "Those-" he gestured towards the purple dots on him. "-are from...you..."

Astrid stood there, silent for a second before she gasped again as reached for him.

She carefully turned Hiccup around and looked him in the eyes. "Hiccup...I'm so sorry. If I'd only knew how you would look like, I would have just stopped..."

He looked at her before wrapping his arms around her waist. Astrid smiled and settled herself against his bare chest, wrapping her arms around his strong neck.

"It's alright..." Hiccup responded quietly. "Mmm..." The blonde hummed slightly and gently, smiling into the muscly chest of her friend.

They stood there for Thor's know how long before Hiccup did something that he'd never done before.

He pulled away from Astrid and bowed his head, down towards his friend, catching her lips in his.

(A/N: And that's the end of it. Today's the day. I had this chapter as a draft for a day or two. Now, I just finished the ending. Really, I just woke up about ten minutes ago...
