(A/N: This takes place during the time when Hiccup and Astrid stands in the stables, talking. During the, "Total Nightmare." I changed their talks.)

"Hiccup, do you really think that Hookfang want to go back to the wild?" Astrid asked. Hiccup looked at her. "I don't know. Let's just hope that he won't. I feel kinda sad about Snotlout. I mean, yeah, the two weren't the greatest friends but they protected each other."

Astrid looked back at Stormfly and continued to brush her. "Legs just hope that ours song return to the wild" Astrid muttered. Hiccup looked at Toothless. "You wouldn't do that to me, would you?"

Toothless grumbled a no and rubbed the side of his face against Hiccup's chest. He laughed and patted the dragons large head.

Then, it was silence. The only thing that was heard was the brushes brushing against the scales on the dragons.

"So..." Hiccup started awkwardly. "So...?" Astrid wondered. "I'm sorry..."

Astrid looked at the young man he so dearly loved. "Why? You haven't done anything bad..."

"No, I mean, I'm sorry that you couldn't join the Berk Guard. I know how much it meant for yo-" Astrid interrupted Hiccup by placing a finger on his mouth.

"Hiccup...I only joined the Berk Guard because I had nothing else to do. I always hoped that you would be able to find us an adventure and now, you did. I don't want to be there anymore. I like it here. I have friends here...and, your here."

She pulled away her finger from his mouth and looked at him. "Hiccup, believe me when I say that it's better here. There's more things to do here. And...I jumped out of it after I saw your face...I won't join, alright?" She asked. Hiccup nodded.

Before he'd even registered it, he had wrapped his arms around Astrid's back and hugged her. The young woman was surprised but smiled and fastened her arms around his neck.

Hiccup had his nose buried into her hair as his fingers slightly moved over her back. Astrid brushed her fingers though Hiccup's hair. She then tugged on his braid, smiling. He still had them. And she had thought that he would pull them out after Astrid braided them into his hair.

How long the two stood there, hugging, nobody knew. Toothless looked at the two before he looked at Stormfly.

As if the female dragon knew what he was thinking, she said, "there're in love..."

Toothless nodded and was about to nudge Hiccup but Stormfly stopped him. "No! Don't...let them enjoy the moment. Come on...lets just leave them alone..."

Stormfly them walked out of the stables slowly, followed by Toothless.

The teens pulled away a few minutes after the dragons left. "Hey, where did the dragons go?"

"They maybe wanted to leave us alone, but...I can't really blame them!" And free saying that, Astrid stood up on her toes and pressed her lips against Hiccup's.

The mans eyes went wide before they closed. He pulled the young woman against him and kissed back with equal force.

Astrid wrapped her arms around Hiccup's neck again and pulled him closer.

After pulling away, they locked their foreheads and stayed there. "Hiccup...I-"

"You don't have to say more...I feel the same."

That must have been the best dragon bathing they've been though so far!
