This Can't Be Happening To Me Right Now.

The members were gathered around eating dinner, discussing their upcoming concert. Even when they weren't at the studio practicing they were at home discussing the finer details.

"And then Jin you come up behind Taehyung on the next count." Hobi slurped up some noodles as his hyung nodded at the direction.

They hadn't been sitting at the table for long, and Jungkook was wondering why Jimin kept staring at his face. He tried to ignore it but then he got annoyed. He turned to his hyung after finishing some bites of chicken. "Would you like a picture?" he lightly teased.

Jimin furrowed his brows, but then reached his hand out towards Jungkook's chin. "What's wrong with your face?"

"My face?!" Jungkook yelled, "What's wrong with your  face, hyung?!" Jungkook didn't realize Jimin wasn't saying it to be rude, he was saying it out of concern. Jimin leaned in close to Jungkook and ran his thumb across Jungkook's chin. "I mean you have a rash or something. Have you been scratching or picking your face?"

This got everyone's attention. Jungkook touched his own skin and felt little bumps, now realizing his chin did feel a little itchy, so he started scratching it. "No."

"You're scratching it right now!" Jimin complained.

"That's because you said something and now it's itchy!"

Jin grabbed Jungkook's arm and pulled it down. "Oh, Kook-ah it does look like you have a rash. It's red and bumpy." The oldest took a closer look. "It looks like you're breaking out in hives."

The youngest used his phone camera to look at himself and didn't understand what was going on. "Why would I be..?" Jungkook frowned.

"I'll go see if we have anything for allergies in the bathroom." Hobi got up in search of something to help.

"I'm not allergic to anything." Jungkook furrowed his brows in concern. Now was not the time for him to start having skin problems. He wanted to look his absolute best at their concert that was in a few days. This has never happened before, and now would not be a good time for it to start.

The rest of the members were now huddled around him showing a lot of worry. Yoongi took Jungkook's food plate to inspect everything he was eating. "Well it can't be the food. This is all stuff he's eaten a million times."

"You really can't think of anything that would cause this?" Taehyung asked the maknae. The youngest shook his head no.

"Maybe you got bit by something?" Namjoon suggested. This made all the members start pulling and yanking at the maknae's clothes in order to inspect his skin, trying to see if they could find bug bites. He pulled away. "I'm sure it's fine. Really."

"As long as it doesn't get worse," Yoongi replied.

"I'll go wash my face." Jungkook got up and made his way to the bathroom, where he found Hobi still searching for medicine.

"I'm sorry I can't seem to find anything."

"It's okay, don't worry about it. I'll wash my face and hopefully that helps."

Hobi checked Jungkook's forehead to see if he felt feverish. "No other symptoms? You don't feel sick or anything?"

"No, I really feel fine hyung please stop worrying so much." Jungkook hated it when his hyungs worried about him, especially when they had other things like a concert to worry about. He never wanted to distract them from that.

"Okay. But you let us know if you start to feel worse. Got it?"

Jungkook promised to say something.

Yet, the next day when he woke up, he kept from his members the fact that his stomach was getting a rash too. He'd been tossing and turning and scratching all night. He almost scratched himself raw. He had to change his pajamas twice in the middle of the night because he'd scratched himself so hard that he made his stomach bleed. His throat was bothering him a bit too. Now worried he might also be coming down with a cold, he tried to stay quiet so the others wouldn't notice the rasp in his voice. This proved impossible when it was time to head to the concert venue for rehearsals.

They were on stage doing sound checks when the members finally realized Jungkook's voice was off.

"Please don't tell me you're getting a cold too," Taehyung frowned.

"I don't know. I'm sorry. It doesn't feel like a cold. Just a sore throat."

"The rash on your face hasn't gone away yet either," Jin pointed out.

All of the comments were making Jungkook feel really bad about himself. He felt as though him getting sick was letting the team down. "Please don't worry about me. Let's just focus on the concert."

"You know us. We worry. Even without the concert we'd still be concerned." Yoongi patted Jungkook's shoulder when he saw the downcast look on the maknae's face. "Health is important."

Namjoon walked over after overhearing the conversation. "Yoongi hyung is right, which is why you have to tell me if you start feeling worse sooner rather than later so we can make some kind of plan."

Jungkook got frustrated. "There doesn't need to be some kind of plan! I'm fine!" He stormed off backstage to grab some water, realizing now he suddenly felt really thirsty. He pulled his shirt up to check on the rash on his stomach, trying to hide himself in the back. He was unaware that Jimin had been watching him and saw the scratches and red marks all over him. Jimin ran to him, wide eyed. "What the hell happened to you?!"

Jungkook yanked his shirt back down. "Nothing hyung. It's nothing!"

Jimin grabbed Jungkook's shirt and yanked it back up, revealing the trail of bumps and blood and redness. "You have to see a doctor! The rash is that bad and it's only been one day!?"

"Hyung really it's fi-"

"Hyungs!" Jimin screamed out into the stage to get everyone's attention. Jungkook nudged him angrily, mad that his hyung was bringing this much attention to him. The rest of them ran over and Jimin panicked and forced Jungkook's shirt up, even though his maknae fought against it.

"He needs to be looked at. This isn't good and it's only getting worse!" Jimin's eyes got wet as they filled with worry for his little brother.

"Jungkook-ah you said you'd tell us if this got worse!" Hobi gestured the to sight before him. Before Jungkook could reply or explain himself, Jin grabbed him by the arm and started dragging him away.

"What are you doing?" Jungkook asked.

"Emergency Room. Now."

This made the maknae start fighting and protesting against his hyung. "I don't need to go to the hospital! I feel fine!"

"Feeling fine and being fine are two different things!" Jin screamed. "We'll go and have you checked out to make sure you're okay, and then we will come back."

"I need to practice!"

Taehyung went over and wrapped his arm around Jungkook. "We still have a few days to practice. It's best you get help early so on the day of the concert something doesn't go wrong. If you're sick now and don't get help, imagine how much worse it will be the day of the concert." Taehyung put his forehead to Jungkook's. "We'll be here when you guys get back."

"Fine." Jungkook knew he couldn't fight against his hyungs when it came to something like this so he departed with Jin. The others watched them go and then turned to each other. "What do we do if he can't perform?" Hobi asked Namjoon. It was something Namjoon had to deal with as the leader. "Then we do our job like always, and he just can't perform."

"Army's will be really sad," Taehyung mentioned. He felt bad for both his maknae and all of their fans.

"They'd be a lot more sad seeing him up there sick. Let's just get back to work." Namjoon honestly wasn't all that worried about if Jungkook wasn't able to perform at the concert. He was way more worried about what the hell was going on with Jungkook and why he was covered in a rash and losing his voice.

"Back into positions." Hobi immediately put his worries aside too and got the group back on track.

Meanwhile, Jin was able to get Jungkook into one of the rooms at the hospital rather quickly. A doctor came in and inspected Jungkook's rashes. "It definitely seems to be some kind of allergic reaction."

"To what? I don't have any allergies." Jungkook was beyond frustrated.

"We will have to do some blood and skin tests," the doctor informed.

"How long is that going to take?" Jungkook was getting anxious. He wanted to get back to the venue and practice.

"Relax," Jin put his hand on Jungkook's shoulder. "There's plenty of time." The oldest turned back to the doctor. "We can't think of what would cause this to randomly start."

The doctor asked a bunch of questions about if Jungkook had eaten anything new, worn anything new, switched any products he uses, etc. The answer to all of the questions was no. The doctor said it was odd, but the test results should reveal some answers.

When Jungkook started coughing a little bit the doctor took out his stethoscope to check his breathing and could hear the mucus build up in his lungs.

"Take a few more deep breaths for me."

Jungkook inhaled and exhaled slowly. Crackling with every breath. Jin noticed the look of concern on the doctors face. "What's wrong? You look worried."

"His breathing is a bit abnormal."

"It's just some congestion." Jungkook was experiencing a lot of denial. He wanted to pretend like none of this was even happening and to just get to the day of their concert and get through it. Jin placed his hand on Jungkook's back and also felt the rattle of his maknae's lungs every time he sucked in a breath. My poor baby.

The doctor had a breathing treatment set up and started getting Jungkook on some allergy medications to try and help ease his symptoms. The maknae had to lay in the hospital bed while he received his medications and treatments. Jin called the others to update them and let them know that the youngest was receiving some medication. He also expressed his concern about how something in the dorm had to be causing this so they'd have to try to figure something out later.

After his treatments were over, the doctor returned with his skin and blood results. He said that the allergy was being caused by some kind of chemical and asked again about if they'd switched to a new detergent, soap, any kind of product.

The answer was still no.

It was a medical mystery.

Jungkook was released and sent away with allergy meds to use and was told to come back in a few days if things didn't get better. His rash had cleared up quite a bit and his breathing got clearer by the time he'd returned back to the venue. He felt great and felt as though the worst was behind him. The members were happy to see his skin had cleared up so quickly and their worries subsided as they got back to practice.

A few days later and it was now the day of the concert.

Jungkook's entire torso and back were painted with a red, bumpy, stinging rash. He had been up all night crying, unsure of what he should do in the morning. He cared way too much about performing so decided to keep his mouth shut. Stay quiet, and stay covered.

He had already ran out of the medications from the hospital as they had only been given as a temporary fix. The members had already scrubbed the house clean and washed everything so the maknae was at a complete loss as to how a chemical was causing this. He wasn't using anything new.

He hopped into the shower that morning in one last desperate attempt to rid his skin of whatever toxin was irritating him. He threw baggy clothes on and was on his way with his members to the venue. It took a lot in him to hide how insanely itchy and in pain he was. He'd only sneak in a scratch here and there when nobody was looking. His main concern was that Namjoon would tell him he wasn't allowed to perform, in which he absolutely refused to let that be the case.

He wondered how he was going to hide this from everyone during costume changes between songs and concluded that he'd run to the bathroom with his clothes and change himself instead of letting staff do it. He'd claim he was having to pee a lot or something.

Morning rehearsals started out okay, but backstage in the dressing room things started to go down hill. He was starting to have trouble breathing again and tried taking shallow, steady breaths. Not right now. This can't be happening to me right now.

Thankfully everyone was so busy and things were so chaotic that nobody was paying too much attention to him, which he preferred. Just get through the concert. That's all I have to do.

He hid his panic and sickness the best he could while they finished out rehearsals. Backstage he could already hear ARMY filing into the venue and it lifted his spirits, despite how his body was beginning to feel worse and worse.

It was time to huddle together and do their pre-show chant. The members were feeling confident and ready, even Jungkook. Hobi grabbed Jungkook into a hug. "Do well out there, but if you feel sick at all, you tell someone."

Jungkook nodded, and as soon as Hobi released him and they started heading for the stage, he immediately felt his throat start to tighten up and the rash on his stomach started to burn like a raging fire. He hid the pain the best he could.

Performing was absolutely unbearable for the maknae. He started to feel like he couldn't breathe. At all. His throat was closing in on itself. He couldn't hide the fact he had to scratch at his rash anymore. He tried to subtly hide it while performing certain dance moves, but even when he wasn't dancing he was scratching at his shirt.

During the first intermission while everyone was changing, Jin immediately ran to Jungkook. "Are you feeling okay? You're scratching. Don't thing hyung hasn't noticed."

"I'm fine. It's just...my sweat.." Jungkook lied. Taehyung came over and tried lifting Jungkook's shirt but the youngest pushed him away. "I said I'm fine!" he screamed angrily. Taehyung immediately gave his maknae a sad expression, feeling hurt at the youngest's outburst. He was just trying check on him, look out for him like a big brother should. He turned and walked away from Jungkook without saying anything. Whatever.

Jin decided not to pry either as he could tell it was only making the maknae more upset. The others noticed on stage that Jungkook's vocals weren't what they usually were, so Namjoon told staff members to subtly play the backing tracks to help.

The maknae was trying not to panic on stage but the longer the concert went on the more he struggled. It was now the last intermission where they were in their last costume change. Up until now he'd been able to hide the rash he could feel getting worse around his body. He was hyperventilating back stage and staff members had to shove oxygen cans against his face. Namjoon ran over to him. "Jungkook-ah, tell me right now if you can't continue."

"I-I-" Jungkook was wheezing between breaths. "It's only three more-songs-hyung...I can do it!"

Namjoon put his hand to Jungkook's chest and could feel the rattling. The leader was panicking. Not about the rest of the concert, but about Jungkook's safety. "I don't want you performing the rest."

Jungkook pushed the oxygen can away. "No! Hyung I'm fine! I-can do it!" Without realizing, a staff member started pulling at Jungkook's clothes for his last costume change. Revealing not only a rash and hives, but oozing welts all over Jungkook's back and stomach and traveling up his arms.

"Holy shit!" Jimin screamed. He ran over when he saw it, and his yelling grabbed the attention of everyone in the room. Panic ensued amongst the members as they ran to him. The maknae burst into tears saying he was fine. He actually felt like he was going to die standing up but he didn't want to let anyone down by not finishing the show. What was three more songs?

The members started crying with Jungkook, their tears full of worry. Namjoon told Jungkook he absolutely could not finish and asked staff members to get him to the hospital, but the youngest fought tooth and nail against it. "I promise I will go a-after!" He broke out into another coughing fit and everyone could hear how bad his wheezing was getting. He doubled over and clutched his chest.

Namjoon grabbed his arm and started pulling him towards a couch. "Absolutely not. You're done for tonight!"

Staff started yelling at the group that they had to get back on stage and Jungkook continued to put up a fight. The staff promised to take care of Jungkook so the others could focus on the concert. However, once the members were already headed back on stage the staff couldn't fight Jungkook any more. He broke free from the dressing room and ran right up on stage behind the members. When they heard him start singing and turned to see him there, they felt like they were seeing a ghost.

How the hell did he get back up here?! He needs to be going to the hospital!

They all tried to act calm and collected and like they weren't internally panicking. Hobi ran over to Jungkook and gestured that he needed to get off stage, but Jungkook kept running away from him. ARMY thought the two were simply playfully chasing each other for giggles. They had no idea what the real situation was.

This turned into all of the members trying to get Jungkook off stage but when they realized how stubborn he was being, they simply had to give up and hope he made it through the end of the setlist.

Jungkook made it through the last song and felt extremely proud of himself. As they began running backstage, that's when everything hit him at once. He couldn't breathe at all. He dropped to his knees and face planted into the floor.

"Maknae!" Taehyung screamed. He dropped down next to Jungkook. The youngest was laying on his back and clutching his throat. The rash had taken over his entire body and he couldn't get a single breath in. Tears poured from his eyes. Hobi and Jin started screaming for help, for oxygen, for an ambulance, for anything.

Jungkook clawed at his throat and chest in a desperate attempt for air. He stared at his hyungs worried eyes with his own terrified expression. Seeing the youngest like this was killing everyone. Medical staff were doing all that they could while they waited for an ambulance, but Jungkook's lips were turning purple and blue.

"He can't breathe! He can't breathe!" Jimin screamed through tears. He rubbed Jungkook's chest. "You'll be fine! Help is coming! Hyungs are here, we won't let anything happen to you! I promise you we won't let anything happen to you!"

All Jungkook could do was stare up at everyone. He started seeing black spots in his already blurry, tear filled vision. Every breath he tried to take was useless, even with oxygen pressed to his face. He felt all of his hyungs hands on him and started to think that if this was where he dies, at least he's not alone. I'm sorry, hyungs.

His head dropped to the side as he fell unconscious.

"No! No!" Yoongi screamed. He tried shaking Jungkook. "No no no! Maknae wake up!" He turned to the others "Where the hell is the damn ambulance?!"

As if on que, paramedics ran in with a bunch of equipment and a stretcher. They shoved everyone out of the way and the hyungs felt helpless as all they could do was stand by and watch, doing nothing to help save their baby brother.

"Don't let him die!" Jin screamed through tears. "Please do absolutely anything, just don't let him die! We can't lose him!"

The members held each other tight as they watched paramedics doing CPR and an array of other things to get Jungkook breathing again. Paramedics were informed that it could be an allergic reaction.

"Allergic reaction to what?" They had asked.

"Nobody has any fucking clue, apparently! Last time he went to the ER he was told some chemical, but we don't know what!" Namjoon screamed.

Medics got him onto the stretcher and bolted out into the night with him. The members could hear the ambulance take off and they started screaming that they had to get the hell out of the venue and to the hospital. There was no time to waste.

They got to the hospital in a matter of minutes. They ran in screaming for Jungkook, and a nurse came over and brought them to a private waiting room. The nurse informed them that she just saw Jungkook being rushed in and it looked like they were still trying to get him to breathe on his own. The members cried even harder, terrified that Jungkook wasn't going to make it.

Through their tears, worry, and endless waiting, they discussed what the hell could possibly be causing this. They had already cleaned the entire dorm and wiped every surface, they couldn't figure it out.

"I just don't understand what chemical. It's something that travels, apparently, if it was affecting him both at home and at the venue." Yoongi tried coming up with answers but with his head so fuzzy and clouded by worry that was the only solution he could find.

Jin started making a checklist.

"He hasn't switched any of his products. Has anyone else switched products?"

Everyone shook their heads no.

"Someone has to have bought something new."

Nothing was coming to mind for anyone.

"Check all your online receipts and literally look for anything new." Jin was the first to pull his phone and start checking. Soon all of the members had their phones out and were checking all of their electronic receipts to look at what they may have bought within the last few days that they hadn't bought before.

Hobi gasped as he covered his mouth and dropped his phone. "Oh..no..."

"What is it?" Jimin asked.

Hobi didn't reply, he buried his face into his hands and started sobbing.

Yoongi walked over to him. "Hobi-ah?"

"It's my fault. It has to be my fault!" Hobi screamed. He threw himself into Yoongi's chest to muffle his heartbroken screams. "It's my fault!"

Taehyung picked Hobi's phone up. "You think it's something you bought?"

"I-I...my cologne. My new cologne."

All of the members groaned.

Of fucking course.

Taehyung inspected Hobi's receipt. It was from the same day that Jimin had first noticed Jungkook's small rash. It was the only new thing that had entered their home. And it was a chemical. Not only had Hobi been spraying it on himself at home, but he had brought it to the concert and was spraying it on himself in the dressing room everyone had been enclosed in. During every single intermission.

"It adds up," Taehyung frowned.

Hobi couldn't stop screaming and crying into Yoongi's chest. "What if I've killed him? What-what if I've killed our maknae?"

Hobi's entire body flushed with guilt. He already felt absolutely terrible enough knowing this was more than likely his fault, and the thought of Jungkook possibly dying because of it broke his heart over and over again so many times he already knew if Jungkook didn't make it, he wasn't going to either.

"I'm so stupid. I'm so stupid," Hobi kept crying. Everyone surrounded Hobi. They didn't blame him for not realizing sooner, if anything they all blamed themselves for not figuring it out and waiting until now to actually check their receipts.

Hobi dropped to his knees and let his tears splash on the floor. Right now he didn't even want to be alive. "Someone kill me. Just kill me now and only save me if Kookie is okay."

Jimin dropped beside him and held his hyung tightly. He kissed his hyungs temple. "Kookie is going to be okay. That's just what has to happen."

The wait was long, but they finally got an update that the doctors were able to get him medication in time to reverse the major side effects.

"Within the next few hours the rash should subside. His breathing is still labored but the medicine is working. He will need to be on a breathing tube for a while." The doctor told them they'd be able to see him in a few hours. They informed the doctor that they were pretty sure it was a reaction to Hobi's cologne.

"So..I..I can't visit him. I'm still wearing it." Hobi frowned.

Everyone realized something even worse.

The cologne was on all of them, because they'd been around Hobi and hugging him all night.

The doctor said that because it was a few hours before they could see Jungkook anyway, to go home, shower, clean everything, clean their clothes, etc.

The members immediately agreed to do all of those things so they caught a ride back to their house and once again scrubbed the place top to bottom. Hobi took the bottle of cologne and threw it in a trash can outside. They got to doing all the laundry. They all showered and threw out their performance clothes, figuring they wouldn't need them again anyway.

Once everyone and everything was clean again they drove back to the hospital. By the time they got back, it was time they were allowed to see Jungkook. They were informed that most of his rash was on the mend but to be wary of the tubes he was still hooked up to.

"He's going to be asleep, please do your best to keep quiet. It's best he doesn't wake up yet. Please make it a quick visit. You can visit for longer when he's breathing on his own."

The doctor led them to Jungkook's hospital room and let them have their privacy. Seeing Jungkook in the state he was in broke their hearts all over again.

Everyone broke down crying once more. "We..we just have to remember that he's going to be okay. The doctor said the medicine is working." Jin wiped his tears. Hobi was having the hardest time knowing it was because of him that Jungkook was even here in the first place.

They kept their crying and worries to a quiet hush and watched Jungkook sleep for a little while. Yoongi got a bit too choked up and cried out loud by accident. "Sorry," he whispered as he clamped his hand over his own mouth. "He just looks so fragile. I want to protect him from everything and this is making me realize I can't and that scares the living hell out of me."

Hobi stayed silent. Shame still eating away at him. I can't protect him either.

The doctor came back and told them it was best they leave the room now. Hesitantly they all dragged their feet out and into the hallway. It was extremely evident how terrible Hobi was feeling, so everyone pulled him into a group hug.

"Don't feel so guilty, okay?" Taehyung said reassuringly. "None of us knew, and neither did you. You can't beat yourself up for not knowing. It was an honest accident, and he's going to be okay."

Hobi's heart felt a little lighter after that but he knew deep down he'd probably only ever feel better after seeing Jungkook up and back to his usual maknae self.

The members gathered back into the waiting room and had to wait until the end of the next day before hearing that Jungkook was finally breathing on his own, awake, and ready for their visit. They sprinted to him and ran to his bed side as soon as they got the news. They bombarded him with hugs and forehead kisses and questions about how he was feeling.

The maknae was feeling a bit nauseous and exhausted, but he was happy to be awake and to see his hyungs. He soaked in all of their love and attention for a while. They informed him that his reaction was because of Hobi's cologne.

"How did you figure that out?" Jungkook's voice was weak and still scratchy and it worried everyone, but they reminded themselves that he was in the safest place for him to be at the moment. Yoongi explained what happened. He let Jungkook know that they all washed up and cleaned everything again.

"Oh," was Jungkook's only response. He looked up at Hobi and saw his sorrow. He reached out and grabbed his hyungs hand. "It's okay, hyung. You didn't know."

Hobi sighed. For the time being he still felt terrible.

The members went on and on about how they couldn't believe Jungkook ran back on stage to perform at the end. "You were literally dying. What the hell were you thinking?" Jimin lightly scolded.

"I don't know." Jungkook honestly couldn't believe he'd done that either, he had just felt so incredibly determined to make everyone proud despite his own problems.

Taehyung started crying as he held Jungkook's hand. "You're real damn lucky, Kook-ah. Never do that again. Never scare us again."

"I'm sorry," Jungkook frowned. He felt terrible seeing his hyungs so worried, but was glad that they'd figured out his problem and they'd have no reason to worry any longer. "Things should be okay now though, right?"

"They should be fine," Jin replied.

They continued to talk amongst each other for a while. The hyungs were happy to stay with Jungkook until he was well enough to go home. He was sent home with more allergy medications and epi-pens to keep on hand incase something else happened. They were told to strictly monitor his health and come straight back at the very first sign of another reaction.

The hyungs were ecstatic to bring Jungkook back home, although a little worried about him still having a reaction. They hoped they'd cleaned and scrubbed every centimeter of their place with no left over cologne anywhere. When they got home everyone kept a heavy eye on him, but after a few hours he still seemed to be doing alright so they eased up a bit.

Finally, things were getting back to normal.

Jungkook was resting in his bed when Namjoon gently knocked and asked to come in. "How are you feeling? Still feeling okay?"

Jungkook sat up and nodded. "Yeah, I'm alright."

His hyung made his way over and sat next to him on the bed. "Good, because I want to talk to you about the concert."

"Oh? What is it hyung? I mean I know I didn't do my best but I was trying. Is ARMY disappointed?"

"No, they aren't disappointed. They loved the concert."

"That's good, hyungie. I just kept going because I didn't want to disappoint them. I didn't want to disappoint the other members either by not performing."

Namjoon paused and took a deep breath, knowing his next words were going to make Jungkook quite sad. "I'm going to be honest here. I'm disappointed in you, Kookie."

Namjoon watched the color drain from Jungkook's face. "What? Why?! I made it through the whole concert!" Jungkook held back tears. This is exactly what he'd worked so hard to avoid.

"And that's why I'm disappointed, Jungkook-ah. You were way too sick to perform and I told you not to and you didn't listen to me. I understand that we are all so insanely protective of you and sometimes you don't think much of it, but there are certain situations where you have to let us be protective and you have to listen. This was one of those times."

"I thought-"

Namjoon gestured for him to stop talking and then gently squeezed his maknae's shoulder. "Listen to me. I understand you didn't want to disappoint anyone, I get that. However, when a hyung tells you to slow down or stop, then please do just that. I was disappointed, as the bands leader, that you didn't listen to me. Part of maturing is knowing your limits. Nobody would have been angry at you for not finishing the show. You could have died, Kook-ah. And then what? Would those last songs have been worth it? No. Not at all."

Jungkook was crying. "I..I didn't want to stress you out by making you have to tell ARMY I wasn't going to finish the show.."

"You shouldn't have worried about that. I'm the leader for a reason. Let me handle the stress of all of that. It was a lot more stressful keeping an eye on you and making sure you were okay. Next time something like this happens, and I pray it never does, you have to listen to me. Please promise you'll listen to me. I can't see you laying in a hospital again. It kills me too much."

"I'm really sorry, hyungie."

Namjoon pulled Jungkook into a tight hug, knowing how his maknae was and knowing he might start to take this way too personally and get really depressed. "Hyung isn't angry, and please don't be too upset with yourself. Okay? I just needed to have this conversation with you now so you know for next time. Hyung still loves you and you're still the best maknae ever. Don't overthink it. Understand? This isn't something I want you to beat yourself up over. It's just something to know."

"Okay, hyung." Jungkook nuzzled his face into Namjoon's chest and let his hyung hold him for a little while. Eventually everyone came in to say goodnight and double check on the youngest. All of them were exhausted and couldn't wait for a good nights sleep in what felt like days.

After a stressful week behind them, things at home had calmed down. Jungkook still showed no new signs of allergies and was finally feeling better than ever. Thankfully he also knew not to let Namjoon's words hurt his feelings too much, as he could see his leader still loved him just the same. His mood was chipper and happy again and this was also helping Hobi let go of his guilt as well, seeing Jungkook back to his normal self had helped his own heart.

Finally, no more rashes or allergies, Hobi thought. And no more new damn cologne either.

[The End]
