You pull my hair behind my ear
You kiss me on my cheek
You make me feel special

Your hands waving in the air
You yell at me about some guy I was just talking to earlier
You are so stupid
You....you actually think I'm dating the guy behind your back

I Hate You

Your mouth forms a smile, and you laugh like a maniac at some joke I just said
You say those three marvelous words "I Love You."
You say how much you need me in your life, and I say how much I need you in mine
You say I'm the love of your life

I Love You

Your mouth opens wide, and you are yelling at me
You yell....and yell....and yell
You make tears flow like a river down my cheeks, and I ask, "Don't you love me?"
You look directly in my eyes, and you say,"I've never loved you."

You walk off into the distance

You leave me sobbing and trembling on the freezing floor

I yell:

"I HATE YOU!!"

"I HATE YOU!!"

"I HATE YOU!!"

Then, I whisper softly:

"I Love You."

Hey,

I know this poem is sad. It made me sad just writing it.

But I just wanted to get this point out there;

Love isn't a happy phase where everyone is happy and you live happily ever after. No, that's the kind of love in movies. Love is when you love someone, and you don't ever want to let them go. And, you know if that someone special leaves you, you will be heartbroken.

Love almost never has a happy ending.
