Rumors travel quickly-

it takes 15 minutes for a single rumor about love to travel across the school.

That's incredibly fast. I wonder just how distorted this rumor can get?

Sometimes, I would catch the curious eyes --g-a-z—-i-n-g—-u-p-o-n--->me,

but no one in particular would come up to ask me anything.

Even my friends avoided the topic in general. It was quite odd, but I chose not to mind it.

After all...

I have no intention of lying to myself at the very least.

This was the best outcome for the poor touch-me-not flower who stretched to far towards the sun. For had she continued, she would have been burned by the blazing star she so dearly yearned. If the sun did not destroy her, then the birds that hovered in the skies would continue to peck at it until it withered; hence, I did not want her to suffer that fate.

So, after school, I took my seat in the library along with my recent friend. As usual, he was blasting music into his ears. However...
