hey there!

 thank you for reading this book so far. thank you for all your votes and lovely comments as well - i really appreciate them.

day 9's challenge (which i should have done and uploaded yesterday, but i couldn't find the time or inspiration, sorry!) is supposed to be a poem about me. in the prompt, it says "don't hold anything back" and be completely honest and unfiltered. 

i've always found writing about people fun because it really is a challenge to try to encapsulate the complexity of a character within a few lines and words. but there's something about writing about yourself that's different - it requires a level of self-awareness and perceptiveness that i don't really think i've reached yet.

it sounds like an amazing challenge that i definitely want to take on someday, but i don't feel like i've reached a stage in my writing where i can accurately convey myself or do justice to all the things that have happened to me thus far. trust me, i've tried so many times - writing, and deleting, and re-writing, and re-deleting - but in all of those times i tried, i ended up with (what i thought) was really emotionless and bland; 'unfeeling' - you may call it. and i thought it was better to not post anything and explain why instead of posting substandard work that neither you nor i would enjoy or be proud of. hope you understand.

i'm really sorry to disappoint! i'm pretty disappointed in myself too - i wanted to do this challenge with no rules or exceptions so i could really push myself, but oh well. i guess some things come with time. i promise i will (try my best to) write this poem maybe at the end of this challenge or sometime after! 

in the meantime, perhaps i'll open this space up for a q&a? so ask whatever questions you want (no offensive/deeply sensitive ones though!) down in the comments and i'll try to reply to all of them :) sidenote: if you ask about my age or location you'll only get vague cryptic answers so yeah don't bother with those haha
