Maiti pov
I was getting ready for school.

Edward had come back and I already saw issues. He was creating issues with Bella. This was going to be difficult.

I went in to the cafeteria with my siblings. Emmett, Edward, and Jasper had decided to have a snowball fight and I had gotten caught in the middle. Rose and Alice were laughing and trying to avoid Emmett who was trying to get them wet. I grabbed Alice and nipped her ear playfully. She squealed and tried to get away from me.
" Okay. Okay. I'm sorry for laughing at you." I chuckled and let her go. Jasper wrapped his jacket around me.
" Sorry darlin." I smiled and shook my head.
" Boys will be boys." Jasper chuckled and Emmett stuck his tongue out at me. Just then I saw Bella. I smiled and went over.
" Hey Bella. Can we talk?" She nodded and said goodbye to her friend. I saw Jessica glare at me so I smirked. I spoke to Bella once we were far enough away.
" So we still have a bit more. Do you want to come back over this weekend?" She smiled.
" I'd like that. Just.......You're sure it's fine?"
" Trust me it is. Alice enjoys having you around. She's oddly calm when she wants to be."
" Sure. That sounds great."
" Great. Just wait for Alice and Emmett after school. They'll bring you." She nodded her head then looked unsure.
" Um. Can I ask you something?"
" Sure."
" Why do your siblings not eat here?" I giggled.
" They're weird. They don't like the school food so they don't eat while they're here. They're picky." Just then I felt something wet hit my back. I growled.
" Excuse me while I go strangle my siblings."

I went over and tackled Emmett down. I shook my wet hair all over him. The others were laughing hard. After we were done goofing around Jasper dried me off. I giggled and sank into his embrace. To anyone else it appeared as if I was trying to warm up. Jasper kissed my neck subtly and calmed me down.

After school Alice and Emmett went with Bella to her house. The rest of us left for the house.

Jasper was sitting next to me and trying to calm me down a bit. Alice skipped in with Emmett and Bella following. Bella sat next to me. She looked pale and ready to puke. I smirked.
" Em. Did you drive?"
" Maybe Maiti. Why?" I snickered. Bella noticed and pinched me. I pretended to be hurt.
" Bella?!" She rolled her eyes but smiled. Alice and I shared a look. Time for some fun. Alice and I had decided that Bella and our parents needed a little push in the right direction. Alice plopped down on my lap causing me to squeak.
" So Bella. How about we get you a makeover?" I rolled my eyes at my mate. Bella looked shocked.
" You sure? I mean I'm not sure it would work for me." Alice huffed.
" Don't try. You are beautiful and we just need to do a few things to make you perfect." Jasper sighed at our mate while I smiled.
" Fine." Edward was glaring at Alice and me by this point. I stuck my tongue out at him and he hissed at me. Jasper snarled softly enough for the human not to hear. That made Edward back off. Alice dragged Bella away and I followed.

We got Bella fixed up into a nice dress.

Then we fixed her hair and makeup.

" Um. Don't you think this is a little too much?"
" No." Alice and I both said. It was silent for a bit before Bella spoke.
" Hey. Can I ask you two something?" I nodded my head.
" Of course Bella."
" How do you keep doing what you're doing when everyone tells you it's wrong?" Alice and I shared a look then smiled.
"Easy. Just don't let others tell you what to do or push what they think is right on you." I said finishing up Bella's hair. Once we were done we got changed ourselves. Rose had come in by now. The three of us got ready.

"Why are we dressed like this?" Alice and I smirked.
" Because we're going to go out tonight."
"What?" I smiled then spoke.
" Girls night out." I went downstairs to ask mom if she wanted to go.

When I found mom and dad in the same place I went over. Dad raised his eyebrow at my look.
" You're all dressed up. Are you going somewhere?"
" Can we have a girls night?" Just then the other three girls came down. Mom and dad looked shocked at Bella. They shook it off. Dad chuckled and kissed my forhead.
" Sure."
" Can you come with, mom?" She looked shocked then smiled.
" I'd love to." I smiled and hugged her.

Once mom changed we left for Seattle.

Esme's dress

We had fun and mom and Bella ended up even closer. Alice and I smiled at each other. It was working. Alice and I had told Rose the truth and she had agreed to help. Mom and dad deserved happiness. There was still just one little problem. Edward. Dad had figured out that Edward seemed to like Bella so he had backed off. Alice and I would need to up our game to make this work. I think it was time we brought in help.

That night Rose and I told Jasper and Emmett the truth. They were shocked then agreed to help.

One day after school everything changed. A van skidded to Bella and was about to crush her when Edward sped over and saved her nearly exposing us. Damn it. Jasper pulled me close and kept a tight grip on me. Edward came back over and I gripped his neck.
" Car. Now." Rose, Edward, and I went to the hospital.

When we got in we waited for dad to come out. When he came out we all talked.
" Are you insane?" I hissed at Edward.
" What was I supposed to do? Huh? Let her die?" Rose spoke.
" This isn't just about you. It's about all of us." Dad spoke.
" I think we should take this in my office." Dad said. We all looked to see Bella watching us. She asked to speak to Edward alone. I gave her a soft smile then left. This was definitely going to be difficult.

Things kept getting worse. One night Edward saved Bella from another situation causing us to nearly be exposed again. Bella had fugured out what we were. She had told Edward the next day after school. That weekend Edward decided to bring Bella over for a meal.

I was in the kitchen helping mom and dad fix the meal with Emmett, and Rose. Alice and Jasper had gone out to hunt.
" Is she even Italian?" Rose asked.
" Her name is Bella." Emmett said. Dad spoke.
" I'm sure she'll love it no matter what." Just then we all scented the human.
" Phew. Get a wiff of that." Rose said. I snickered. Mom smiled and spoke.
" Here comes the human." Edward led Bella in. Mom walked up.
" Bella we're making italino for you."
"Oh. Thank you." She said.
"You're very welcome." Dad spoke.
" Given us a chance to use the kitchen for once." I snickered at my dad.
" I hope you're hungry." Mom said.
" Yeah. Of course."
" She already ate." Edward said. Rose broke the bowl and stepped up.
" Perfect." Emmett sighed and walked over to Rose.
" Yeah. It's just because I know you guys don't eat." Rose snorted.
"Most of the time we don't. Maiti's really the only one that does but we can eat." Mom smiled at Bella.
" Of course. That's considerate of you." Dad went over to her and put a arm around her waist.
" Just ignore Rosalie. I do." Edward said.
" Yeah. Let's just keep pretending like this isn't dangerous for all of us."
" Rose!" Mom scolded. I sat up on the counter.
" I would never tell anybody. Anything."
" She knows that." Dad said rubbing mom's arm.
" Yeah well the problem is you two have gone public now." Mom looked at one of my brothers.
" Emmett."
" No she should know. The entire family will be implicated if this ends badly." Rose said stepping up to Bella. I spoke.
"Rose is right. It could be dangerous for all of us but I trust Bella not to say anything."
" Badly as in. I.....I would become the meal." Most of us laughed at that. Just than Alice dropped in. I sped over to Jasper and buried myself into his embrace.
" Hi Bella." She went over and hugged Bella. She backed up.
" Oh. You do smell good."
" Alice. What are you......?"
" It's okay. Bella and I are gonna be great friends." Dad spoke from his place behind mom.
" Sorry. Jasper is our newest vegetarian. It's a little difficult for him."
"Hi Bella." Jasper said staying away. I smiled and spoke.
" It's okay Jasper. I have faith in you." Edward looked stricken and than he spoke.
" Alright. Uh. I'm gonna take you on a tour of the rest of the house." Edward turned Bella away than gave us all a look. Once they were away mom laughed.
" Cute."
" I know." Alice said agreeing with our mom.
" I think that went well." Carlisle said. Esme pointed to Rose and spoke.
" Clean this up. Now." Rose did so without complaint. Alice and I shared a look. This was going to be harder then we thought.
