I am a human,
Small and vulnerable.
I have skin that cuts and bleeds,
tender like the tears on my cheeks.
But did you ever think?
when you touch it,
do you scar or heal.
Did you ever care to see my scars
or were you blinded by the light
of the fire that scorched my skin to ashes.
Were you aware that what you've done,
has printed your name on my skin,
an unnecessary addition to all the wounds I have previously received.
