How the poo does everyone know this! And if Lexi knows I'm a werewolf that must mean... "Wait you're a werewolf too Lexi?" I scream-whisper!

"Shhhh! Yes but keep it down, humans  go to this school too you know. You act like your an amateur." She looks at me and realizes something, "Wait you are an amateur aren't you? How the hell did that happen? That makes no sense... We change at the age of fourteen? You can't be an amat- "

I cut her off from her rant, "It's a really long and complicated story," I start to walk then she follows and we head toward our second class, "but I'm willing to tell you everything, if you want you can come over my place later?" I ask her.

"Yes! Definitely! That would be great because I'm so confused right now..." She says looking terribly lost and slightly depressed. I laugh at her.

"Lexi don't be so confused! Really it will seem quite simple when I end up telling you the reasons behind it!" She thinks about it then nods her head in agreement. I'm going to tell her about my mom and dad but I don't know if I should tell her about Jayden. Maybe I should keep that one to myself.

The school day ends finally and I'm half way through the parking lot when Vince calls to me. "Hey Sofia, wait up!" He jogs over to me then says, "So after our football game on Wednesday we are planning on throwing another huge party since it is the first game of the season! Would you want to come?" He asks me in a friendly tone. That actually sounds pretty enjoyable, I mean sure Jayden will be there with his little slut, but that's fine because I will be enjoying my own time.

"Yeah that actually sounds great, where are you having it? And Lexi is invited, right?" I ask. There is no way I would make it through a whole party without Lexi by my side.

His smile slightly falls and he says, "Yeah sure you can bring her if you want to, and we are having it at Jayden's house since all the adults are going to a pack... I mean a business meeting so Jayden's parents won't be home! I hope to see you there shorty!" He ruffles my hair then leaves to go join his group of friends. I notice that both Jayden and Ashley are missing from the group... That's odd, they are usually always standing there together. I shrug it off and get to my car.

As I wait I turn on my car and music. I hear a knock on my window and see that it is Lexi. I wave to her and signal for her to get in the car. She walks around and gets into the passenger seat. "Damn your car is fine." She says as she touches the interior of my car.

"Thanks" I giggle at her, "it was a present from my step-dad, Will" I remember the day he gave it to me, which surprisingly wasn't that long ago, even though it feels like ages!

"Oh my gosh I love this song!" She reaches for the volume and blasts my speakers to their maximum volume. Rhiana's song "Pour it up" sounds through my car as I begin the drive to my house. That's how the rest of the ride goes, just Lexi and I singing and blasting music the whole time. We finally make it to my house and I drive through the gates and into the driveway, then turn off the music and my car. "Jesus Sofia, you didn't tell me you own a freaking mansion!" She shouts at me as she stares out the window in excitement.

"Well technically it's Will's mansion..." I say, it's true they haven't done the papers yet to allow mom and Will to split the property.

"Will? Like Will Hickson... The Alpha'a cousin?" She says in a shocked tone.

"That would be the one! He's a super nice guy!" I say smiling and proud of my step-dad.

"I had no idea he was married, and to your mom? That's awesome Sofia!" She shrieks.

It is awesome, I'm actually really happy my mom and Will got married, now I'm best friends with this crazy chick right here and it's amazing. I'm already closer to Lexi then I was with all my other friends back in Nevada.

"Let's go in, grab a snack and then I will tell you the whole story in my room." I laugh then get out of the car. After locking it we head to the kitchen and grab a granola bar and an apple each. We enter my room and Lexi freaks out.

"Holy crap Soph! This room is absolutely huge, it is like triple the size of mine! You're so lucky, I'm sleeping over here about every weekend if you don't mind." She says and then walks over to my bed and jumps onto it with a thud.

"Thanks, I'm glad you like it! And of course you can come over whenever you want Lexi." I giggle and sit on the floor next to the bed. "So what is it exactly that you want to know?" I ask her curiously.

"If you don't mind I kind of want to hear it all. I'm just lost in general about what's going on..." She says shyly, probably concerned about invading my private life.

I smile and end up telling her the whole story my mom told me while we eat our snacks. A light bulb goes off in her head as she understands what is going on, and she realizes that I changed at the age of eighteen because I'm a half-breed.

"So you said that there is someone that you feel all the signs of a mate with, so who is it?" She asks. Great, she just asked the one question that I didn't want to answer, but I can't lie to her now...

"It's... Jayden..." I drop my eyes to the floor so I can't see her reaction.

"Jayden Renalds? But isn't he still with that slut Ashley?" She asks genuinely concerned.

I look up at her and smile slightly, "Yeah, he basically rejected me for her, but I can't really blame him. I mean look at me..."

She rises from the bed and sits down next to me and takes my hand, "Sofia, your amazing and if he can't see that, then let's make him see it." Her eyes have an evil gleam to them as she says that. Wow, she actually has the same idea as me.

"That's what I was planning on doing but he found out that I'm a werewolf therefore he knows that I know we are mates... So my plan is ruined." I sigh and hang my head in defeat. Lexi stands up and places her hands on her hips.

"Oh but Sofia, I have a new plan that is bullet proof. It involves a huge wardrobe change. No more frilly girly stuff. We are heading straight for sexy overload."
