~Ethan's pov~

~Ten years later~

"Ethan! Honey come on we're going to be late!" My wife called for me from downstairs.

"I'll be there in a second! Come Lucy lets go see grandpapas." My little girls fave lit up at the mention of her grandpa's. She held her arms up wanting to be picked up. I lifted her up and carried her down stairs and out to the car.

"Dad did you tell grandpa's that we were coming this time?" My oldest son, Jeremiah, said.

"Yes I did. Now let's go." I strapped Lucy into her car seat and climbed inside.

Once we reached my dad's house I grabbed Lucy and walked inside followed by my loving family.

"Ethan! Sarah! We thought you guys weren't coming." Jonathan stepped out on the porch and hugged us.

"Hey dad. Where's Evan?" He took Lucy from my arms.

"He's in the kitchen." I nodded and headed towards the kitchen.

"Hey dad." I went over to him and hugged him.

"Hey Ethan. How's Sarah treating you?" I smiled like a fool.

"Same as before. She's made me so happy it hurts." He smiled at me.

"I'm glad she does." He patted my shoulder. "Lets go out there with everyone else." I nodded and followed him to the living room.

"Hey Evan!" Sarah said standing and walking to him.

"Grandpa Evan! Grandpa John! Will you tell me how you met?" Lucy asked excitedly.

"For a five year old you want to know a lot." She nodded eagerly. Evan laughed and picked her up. Jonathan sat beside him. I sat with Sarah on the opposite couch.

"This story again?" Jeremiah said rolling his eyes with a smile.

"You love this story Jeremiah." Evan said. We all looked to them and waited for them to start their story.

"Well, you see, Evan was my Superman. He was always there to pick me up when I fell. Always made me laugh. Smile. Even when he knew I didn't need it, he was there." Jonathan finished with a smile.

"We met over YouTube. Grandpa John asked me if I wanted to play games with him, and I'm glad I did. It was the best decision I've ever made." Evan was now smiling.

"There was a villain who was bad and mean to me. When I thought I was a goner Evan cane to my rescue. He was like my knight in shining armor."

"I fell in love with him the moment I saw him. The first time I heard his laugh in person. Saw his smile. I couldn't leave him. I brought him back to Canada with me and we got closer and closer."

"As we began to get really close and I made the first move because Grandpa Evan was a scaredy cat." Evan smiled and rolled his eyes.

"Ethan's mom showed up one day and told me I had a son. I was scared on how Grandpa John would react. He was fine with him. But the mean witch kissed me and Grandapa John tried running away."

"I'm glad I didn't. A few days later Grandpa Evan took me on a date where he almost fought a someone." Jonathan laughed.

"Hey in my defense he was flirting and I was making sure he knew you were with me." Jonathan smiled and rolled his eyes.

"Anyways, we had our first kiss on the Ferris wheel. It was really special. A kiss filled with love." Evan kissed Jonathan's cheek.

"That night, I asked Grandpa John to be my boyfriend." They both smiled at each other.

"I said yes."

"I knew from the start you two were going to get together." I said matter of factly.

"But you stopped us from doing... 'further things'." I laughed.

"True."

"Daddy! Shhh! I want to listen." Lucy told me angrily.

"I'm sorry Pumpkin." She looked back towards Evan and Jonathan.

"Then, some bad things that can not be said happened. It scared Grandpa Evan because he almost lost me and daddy." Jonathan smiled sadly at me. Sarah placed her hand in mine and gave me a reassuring squeeze.

"I'm glad I didn't though. But yes, I was very scared. They meant everything to me. They still do." We both smiled at him.

"Awhile after we got together Grandpa Evan asked me to marry him. I was so happy that day, it was hard to speak." Jonathan laughed a little. It still sounded the same. "I, of course, said yes. I couldn't imagine a life without Evan."

"The day of our wedding, I was scared. I was also nervous. So very, very nervous. I didn't know if he was going to back out or not."

"I wouldn't ever do that though. We had the wedding in North Carolina, where I lived."

"It was a good day for us. We vowed to each other to always be truthful, loyal, and always be there for one another."

"We then went on our honeymoon. We met some people I used to know when I was younger. They weren't very nice to me back then. But they came around."

"We helped them get together and they're living happily ever after just like us. And that brings us to today. Sitting here telling you guys about when we met."

"That will still always be my favourite story." Jeremiah whispered.

"Mine too Jere. Mine too." I side hugged Sarah and kissed her head.

We all sat around and ate before it was time to leave.

"They always seem so short." I said as I hugged Evan.

"Yes they do. Take care of Sarah and the kids Ethan. I'm proud of you. Always have been." I smiled.

"Thanks dad."

"Doesn't this dad get any lovin?" Jonathan said walking to me. I smiled and rolled my eyes.

"Come here Johnny boy!" We hugged each other.

"Goodbye Ethan. Come visit soon. I miss having you around." We smiled at each other. I said goodbye one last time before walking to my car where my family waited.

"Daddy?" I looked in my rearview mirror.

"Yes Lucy?"

"Will you and mommy tell my kids how you two met when I'm big?" I smiled and laughed before looking over at my sleeping wife.

"I will Lucy. And when you're older, you can tell your kid's kids about the things that were."

That's the end guys. Thanks for the reads. It's been great. About a week until I'll post the Night Owl and Batcoon fanfiction so keep an eye out for it. Also I got a request to make a bullying book. I'm going to make one and it'll be very emotional and graphic. I bet you I'll start crying while I'm writing it. I'm a very emotional child. But, uh, yeah and enjoy.
