For Romance and/or Ship Fanfic readers:

When you read a romance or ship fanfic book, and it's only about the couple.

A book can't just contain a whole bunch of cute fluff. There has to be an actual story. If you really want to just write fluff, write oneshots.

I can't even count how many fanfics I've read which don't have a story at all, and are just a series of fluff oneshots mashed together.
