I knew that water put out fire, but I also thought it created it. For some reason unknown, I believed that if you mixed hot water and cold water, a fire would start. This terrified me when I would take a bath (before I took a shower, we've all been there). If the water was to hot I would just leave it there because I didn't want to set my bathroom on fire. I thought this was common knowledge for fuck's sake. I thankfully never told this in public.
