The streets were filled with spooky mini statues and lit up with numerous Jack O' Laterns and scary themed lights.

It was a Halloween night! The children could in seen in different groups, roaming around in their Halloween costumes and make a stop at the houses on the way for candies and chocolates.

L/N Residence

Y/N: Hey! I'm home.

Dad: Welcome back. How was your day?

Y/N: It went well, aced a test and also, there was a little Halloween themed celebration in the school.

Dad: That's great!

Y/N: Did anyone come for "Trick or Treat" here?

Dad: Yep, three kids arrived here. You know, early bird gets the worm.

Y/N: They got the better ones, I guess.

Dad: Hehe yeah. By the way, what are your plans for tonight?

Y/N: Oh, it's nothing. Just a walk around the street with friends.

Dad: And your girlfriend.

Y/N: Uhhhhhhhh

Dad: Yeah?

Y/N: *sigh* Yes, and my girlfriend.

Dad: Gwen's a sweet girl. Hope you have a great time with her.

Y/N: And my friends, dad. It's not a date!

Dad: Whatever you say.

Y/N: Where's mom?

Dad: I saw her talking to a friend. Might be outside or something.

Y/N: Ok, I guess.

Y/N grabs a candy from the bowl and eats it. And then sits on the couch for a while.

Dad: Aren't you a little old for candy? *smirk*

Y/N: Never too old for candy!

Suddenly, the doorbell rings. Y/N gets up and then opens the door. It was his best friends.

Peni: So you coming for a stroll with us?

Y/N: Yeah I am! Wait, I have to get some stuff of mine. I'll be back in a moment.

Miles: Ok, go get it.

Gwen: We'll wait.

Y/N: Thanks

Y/N goes upstairs to collect his phone and some money. Suddenly, he hears chit-chats from Alex's room.

Y/N: Strange..... Isn't she alone in there?

Y/N enters Alex's room and is a bit surprised to see Tyler in there with her.

Alex: Y/N! You should've knocked first!!!

Y/N: Sorry, my bad. And hello there Tyler. Long time no see!

Tyler: Hello to you too!

Y/N: What're you two doing by the way?

Tyler: We were playing some ga-

Alex: A project for school!

Y/N: A game project huh? Well carry on *smirk*

Alex: *blush* Uhhhhhh.....

Tyler: Thanks Y/N!

Y/N: That's a great guy you got there Alex!

Alex and Tyler look at each other, both of their faces having a hint of blush. And then smiled awkwardly at Y/N.

Y/N: Well, I'll leave you two to it. Goodbye, and oh, Happy Halloween!

Y/N leaves the house and begins the walk with the gang.

Gwen: The surroundings are spooky, isn't it?

Miles: Well yeah, it's Halloween.

Y/N: Gwen! THERE'S A SPIDER ON YOUR SHOULDER!!

Gwen: AHHHHH!!!!- Wait...... there isn't anything!

Peni: What was THAT scream?!

Noir: Straight out of a horror movie.

Miles: You could've won the Halloween contest here or something.

Y/N: *chuckles* I pulled a lil sneaky on ya.

Gwen: Not funny Y/N.....

Peter: You should try out at Guinness Book of Records for that scream.

Gwen: Geez.... Really?

The rest of em had a good laugh over this. The cool wind breezed through their faces while they were walking.

They saw many children in their cute little costumes on their way for "Trick or Treatin"

Noir: Anyone just wanna be a kid again?

Everyone else: Yeah....

Y/N: Take a look at that statue guys.

Miles: Woah?! A Valak statue!

Noir: Beautiful work of art. Scary but beautiful.

Gwen: I'm not gonna have a good night's sleep today I guess.....

Peni: Oh, you'll not be able to sleep once I tell you about the scary Japanese myths and-

Gwen: Please no. Tell Noir about it, he likes it.

Noir: Well, I'm interested. Tell me about the Japanese ghosts and stuff Peni.

Peni: Well the thing is.....

They continued their walk while talking to each other. On the way, they decided to stop at the Mart for some shopping.

Miles: Well, the mart looks lit with all those decorations and stuff.

Gwen: And there are discounts too!

Y/N: It's Halloween magic y'all.

Peter: Pfft yeah, magic.

Noir: By the way Peni, your Japanese ghost stories were scary. I loved it.

Peni: They're gonna come haunt you all.

Gwen: *gulp*

Peter: Ghosts aren't real.... It's all a Hallucination!

Y/N sneaks behind Peter with a Pennywise mask and taps him on the shoulder. Peter turns around.

Pennywise Y/N: Would you like to be Pennywise's friend?

Peter: OH MY GOD?!?! WHAT THE FLYING FU-

Noir: *smacks Peter's head* Language!

Peter: Ow! And Y/N, that mask is pretty scary.......

Pennywise Y/N: Hehe I know. Looking scary, Gwen?

Y/N death stares at Gwen. She gulps and looks away. Y/N quickly moves towards Gwen.

Pennywise Y/N: You'll float too!

Gwen: Ahhhh-

Gwen almost falls down due to the shock but Y/N grabs her just before she made contact with the ground.

Miles: Yo, look at the cute couple.

Peni: Ah yes, I got a pic.

Peter: You gotta send me that!

Noir: You two look good in that pose *smirk*

Y/N: Hehe, enough jumpscares for today.

Gwen: The last thing I would want would be to watch a horror movie.

Miles: Last thing? Nah, we're watching it right now!

Peni: Ah, how about Conjuring?

Y/N: IT

Peter: Anabelle

Noir: The Exorcist

Miles: Or gaming? Five Nights at Freddy's!

Gwen: GUYS STOP! I'll just go and watch Peppa Pig *chuckle*

Everyone had a good laugh at this moment. They bought some candies and other stuff and left the store.

Gwen: Oh damn it, the way home looks even scary now.

Miles: *inhale* We can do this! Let's Go!

Y/N placed his arm around Gwen's shoulder and gave her an assuring smile, which she returned back.

Y/N: How's was your day?

Gwen: It was good until y'all started scaring me!

Y/N: *chuckles* Everything works in Halloween, Gwennie.

Gwen: Welp, I got you and everyone here with me right now. That's all I need for a good time.

Gwen leans her head on Y/N's shoulder. Both of them having a smile on their faces.

Peni: Ah ha, got another cute picture of you two.

Gwen: What's with you and taking pictures of us?!

Peni: Well........ I don't know.

Y/N: You gotta send me those photos, Peni.

Peni: Sure thing!

They continued their way back home. It was a good evening. Quality time with friends, it was nice.

Gwen: It's getting dark, yeah?

Y/N: Yep

Miles: Welp, I had a great time with y'all.

Peter: Same! I'll catch y'all later in school.

Noir: I got to do some research on those Japanese creepypastas. I'm really curious right now.

Y/N: Well I'd like to have a good night's sleep.

Gwen: Hehe, yeah.

Y/N: Oh no, a bobblehead fell out off my pocket.

Peter: Bobblehead? Was that for Alex?

Y/N: Yeah, it was, hehe. A Reaper one.

Gwen: Uhmm, look! There it is!

Y/N turns around and finds the bobblehead on the middle of the road.

The cold wind starts to blow, and the dust blows on Y/N face, lessening his vision. He rubs his eyes in reflex, and for a better view. He grabs the item quickly, his vision still blurry. Suddenly, he hears a sound.

Noir: Y/N!!!!

Peni: Y/N WATCH OUT!!!!

Miles: MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!!

Peter: MOVE!!!!

Gwen: Y/N!!!!!!

Y/N moves a bit away from that spot, only for the raging sound to increase.

He weakly opens his eyes, only to see a speeding mini truck, just inches away from him. The last thing on his mind was "Oh shit"

And the world went blank
