Here's a soul mate au thing

Basically you have your right eye your natural colour and your left eye your soulmates, in an analogical sense, Logan's right eye is brown and so is Virgil's, but their left eyes are a mix between blue and purple. (Ps this is also a high school au, so their all about 15-16yrs old)

Virgil's pov.

I nervously looked around at my surroundings, I'm sitting in an outdoor seat in a coffee shop right now, it's about 4pm and Logan (my crush) asked me here because he had to tell me something important, I know it's wrong, but I really love Logan, even if he isn't my soul mate, be he could be.

It's mostly because he doesn't show his left eye, so I'd never know if mine would match!

Apparently, the two colours mixed in your left eye are your soulmates and yours, my colour is purple, and my soulmates is blue. BUT HEY! Lots of peoples colours are blue!

You see, Logan has his left eye covered with a bandage, because he wanted to progress with his education before finding his soulmate and proceeded in life without having to worry about "complicated sticky emotions".

I check my phone, the last text I got from him was 10 minuets ago, saying 'I be there soon, but traffic might slow me down'.

Back to soul mates, it's only me and Logan who haven't found out souls mates now, there is patton and Roman, their eyes are a mix of light blue and a bright red, there's Devan (deceit) and Remy, who have a mix of black and yellow. And that it really, I'm so nervous.

"Virgil?" A voice knocked me out of my though process. I look up, a male with sharp but fluff brown hair was in front of me. He wore a black shirt and blue tie, which matched his glasses. He smiled and sat down in front of me.

"Sorry for being late, traffic was less than satisfactory." He began, I tapped my finger nervously, my bare skin skimming the metal table.

"Ah. The main reason.." he look at his hands, which shifted uncomfortably.
He took an deep breath and began, words tumbled out of his mouth as he went on tangents and rambles.

"Logan, summarise it please?" I asked, my nail digging into my skin.

He nodded.

"I'm your soulmate"

I stopped, everything, breathing, thinking , worrying..

Then it all came back.

"No? You can't be , we don't have the same eye or anything, it's probably someone else, your mistakes, don't play me like this please?" I panicked. No way, nu uh! He's gotta be lying.

"So you don't like me then?" He asked plainly, his 0.05 but of emotion drained from is voice.

FECK!

"Nononobo! Nothing like that, it just, I can't , I'm not, I can't be." I started to hyperventilate. I calm down quickly though.

"Logan, your really nice and pleasant to be around, but I'm 100% sure I'm not your soul mate, I like you, that's right, but I want to find my soulmate first."

Logan sighed. "I was really hoping you would just believe me." I tilt my head, he reaches for the bandages that's wrapped around his eye and starts unfolding it.

Blue and purple.
