*rummages through my closet and pulls out a dress* "Oh wow, I forgot that I even had this. It is PERFECT for tonight."

Okay stop...what kind of magic closet do you have? It sounds like the wardrobe that transported them to Narnia.

Maybe yoy guys are different, but I know exactly what I have in my closet. I don't wear everything, but there's no far corner where I hide fancy clothes.

There is a fancy dress in my closet, coincidentally at the furthest end, but it's my matric farewell dress and I KNOW that it's there.

And if I want to go out or attend some function, I either make do with what I have, (perfect or not), go and buy an outfit or recently I started rummaging through my mom's closet (because there's dresses in there that I love and that she claims she's too old for).

But honestly, I'd love to juat pull out a perfect dress that I forgot I had. 😂

PS I absolutely adore my matric farewell dress and I am anxious for another opportunity to wear it, but that's not happening soon, so I'll rather take this opportunity and show you guys.

I am not a huge dress-up fan, but that night (gosh, it's like 3 years ago) I felt like a princess.
