I had an important speech to give today in front of class. I was totally unprepared and shy to be talking about something I barely knew in the front of fifty students. Some minutes before my presentation, I asked Mr. Jackson if I could go to the restroom. When I got there, I washed my face and tried to whisper to myself: "I can do this. I will do this." I kept repeating that to myself a couple of times. When I went back to class, it was my turn to go. I took a deep breath, walked to the front of the class and even threw my practice papers away. I was gonna do it.

And I did it. I still can't quite believe it.
