Lauren's POV

Danielle and I jump apart. "Lisa? This is not what it looks like" Danielle says

"Then, tell me what it is. Because you were holding my sisters hand. Leaning and what seems like you were going to kiss her" Lisa says

"Well we weren't about to kiss" I say

"Yeah, okay. I knew I couldn't trust you Lauren" Lisa tell me

"What does that mean?" I ask standing up

"I can't ever trust you. You're the perfect child who get ever thing she wants" Lisa says then, turns towards Danielle "And, you. I thought you liked me. I thought you were different. But I guess not" then she leaves

"Danielle, I'm so sorry" I say

"Its not your fault. It is not like we knew she was gonna get mad at us for trying to get to know other" Danielle says

"You're being really clam about this" I say sitting back down. 

"Why wouldn't I be?" She says

"My sister just somewhat dumped you" I say

Dani's POV

I look at Lauren "Yeah, she did but, I'm fine it. I can't be upset that she dumped me and we barely knew each other and didn't even go on a second date"

She nods "Well, I'm gonna go. I need go home and make sure she is okay" she says standing up leaving

"What was that Dani?" I see Kath walking into my room shutting the door

"What was what?" I ask going over to my bed

"Lauren and you?" She asks

"That was nothing" I say

"Not what it looked like" she says

"Look, you and Lisa both saw wrong" I say

"Well, you were holding her hand and leaning in" Kath says

"To tell her a secret. I wouldn't do that when I was going out with Lisa." I say

"Well, okay but, you were still holding hands" she says

I sigh "Look, I like Lauren, not Lisa. Lisa is a sweet girl and I feel bad for saying yes to going out with her, but she looked so upset when I asked if it was just us as friends going out"

"But Christina said you told her you liked Lisa" she says

"No, I said I liked a girl. Not Lisa." I say

Katherine nods "So, why did you pretend to like her around me?"

"I knew you would tell Christina I liked Lauren instead. And then, Amy would've known. And Amy would of told Lauren. And Lauren would've have told Lisa. And she would've been heart broken" I say

"So, you were just going to drag the poor girl on. Putting your self through misery" She asks

I shrug "I don't know. I just didn't want to hurt her. I didn't think of anything after that. I think she's great just not as my girlfriend. But a best friend" 

"I know what you mean. I did this before you know" she says

"Really?" I ask giving her a confused look 

"Yeah, I liked this guy and he had a brother the brother liked me. And so I went out with him instead of his brother the one I liked" she says

"So, what happened?" I ask

"Well, the one I liked didn't like me back. So I just dated the one that did" she says

"What if Lauren likes me back?" I ask

"Then, you go with your heart" she says

"But don't want to hurt Lisa's feelings" I say

"Well you have got a lot of to think about" she says then leaves

My phone beeps and I check it

I'm sorry for being a jerk earlier Lauren told me everything - Lis

I message back

That's fine, I mean it did look bad -Dan

So, can we go out again Friday? -Lis

I'm sorry Lisa but, I can't go on that date with you -Dan

What? I'm confused -Lis

Lisa, I am truly sorry, but I don't like you in that way, I like you in a best friend sort of way -Dan

Oh, I see -Lis

I'm sorry, I'm just now telling you this -Dan

No, it's fine. I mean we can still be friends right? -Lis

Of course -Dan

After that I put my phone away sighing well, that was easier then I thought it would be.
