Ok I miss Oxfordshire and the White Horse on the hills and walking down the Ridgeway with the cornflower blue butterflies and I miss the glowing fields full of bright yellow flowers, and the heavy white snow and the puffy clouds and rainless summers and I miss stroking my cat's soft fur when I was sad, and I miss waving at my friends through my bedroom window, and I miss watching the chalk from the car window and I miss the drive through Abingdon, and I miss the busy streets of Oxford, the museums and universities. I miss the beautiful Oxford botanic gardens, and the paddleboats down the Thames and I miss the Harcourt Arboretum full of beautiful trees, where I had my last birthday party before I left it behind, and the huge redwood tree at the centre of it and I miss the peacocks I could see anywhere I went and the red kite s always soaring overhead, and I miss the school hall at Chilton and the classrooms and most of all I miss Alice and Freya, and Adam and Harry, Eve and Evie and Emily, and Finn and everyone I left behind.

Inside the rhodedenderon bushes at the Harcourt Arboretum. I feel I should explain- I don't just go around sitting in bushes. At the Arboretum in Oxfordshire, where I used to live, there were loads of rhodedenderon bushes, and one of them had a perfect structure- it was super leafy on the outside with lots of beautiful flowers, but the inside was lots of sturdy, smooth, intertwining beautiful branches, and if you knew the right spot, the branches formed a chair-shaped structure, lit green from the sunlight shining through the trees, and it was perfect for hide and seek, or to sit and read or draw undisturbed, among smooth shiny branches and soft, bright light and beautiful flowers and I don't think I'll ever be able to see that place again.
